Ok fellas, here's the deal with those cupido sites, at least from my experience.

It's just a social tool in your kit, if you're totally relying on it, you're going to run into frustration. I've actually met a bunch of nice non-pros through these sites, but most of those girls will require lots of work and time to bed them. Time that you probably don't have. Still, it's nice to have a non-pro "tour guide" that you can take on outings or evening dates and never worry about the local guys thinking she's a prepaga; even if she's not the hottest thing around, that's a nice advantage, makes me feel more secure and relaxed in social outings with the locals I know. Just remember it's wise to keep the pro and non-pro worlds as separate as possible in this country, otherwise your fun vacation will go down the tubes, and life can even get quite complicated!

I think it's getting harder nowadays though because the good girls have gotten scared away. One girl I've dated through the CC site (and still keep in contact with) told me she's sworn off all those sites because she keeps getting crazy propositions from the guys almost right off the bat. I'm sure she's not the only one who feels that way. Thus the sites become a self-selecting forum for prepagas and the guys who are looking for p4p.

So over time, a number of the "good girls" or even some of the "party-type" non-pros who still think themselves above the prepagas (this is Colombia remember, lots of social bs and pettiness) have left out of frustration, fear, or just plain sick and tired of all the propositions.

So it is possible to meet a "normal" colombiana on these sites, just that it's harder nowadays because the girls are much more guarded; and just keep in mind that "normal" in Colombia means a certain amount of flakiness that not even the local men can avoid, LOL! .

The Colombian Cupid sites are a no win, putas posing as regular girls, saying they are looking for a meaningful relationship and marriage. This so they can get the tourist to fall in love and send money every month. Bring up sex for your vacation and prices come into the discussion- The puta is always a puta.

There are casa girls and mayorista girls on these sites and when you contact them on the site for sex they are wanting to charge LOTS of money. Yet you can have her at the casa, no dinner, no presents, no waste of time, for 35K. And you are not walking the streets with a known puta. The girls on these sites totally play the dumb tourist. Which is why the vets and smart new comers don't even discuss these here. Until now. Don't waste your time, go for the done deal.

Except I must add that 9 times out of 10 I am fucking mine on the first time. I can't count on one hand the times I have not. I have been signing up on the site for 3 months every year since August 2005. If there are that many hookers and gold diggers on the site as most of these guy are saying, then I never encounter them. I was even in the DR last week and a friend of mine who lives there said that every girl he meets on the site has asked him for money. I was dumbfounded. I think it's a CULTURAL truth, and thus it varies from culture to culture. Nature is far far FAR stronger than culture.

Even if CC have a lot of prepagos / gold-diggers it is still a good site, considering the circumstances. And one have to be realistic. Maybe a medium goodlooking girlfriend is what you can get. Cialis: There is no generic Cialis and they are like 25k each, so I bring like 10 packs of LA PELA, lol

No LAPTOP, Now all I bring is an IPAD, does everything I need to do and I can leave my business shit separate. Love putting in my earbuds and getting lost on the plane. Plus no nosy novias going through your shit.

Antacid and Aspirin: Waking up with guyabo sucks but waking up with guayabo and heartburn from the cialis and rum is MUCH WORSE!!

Cables and Cords: Dont forget all of the cables and cords and chargers belonging to all of your electronics, Including your cell phones chargers and battery charger for your digital camera.

Memory Cards: I bring at least 6 of them, some for family, novia and friends and the other for mongering purposes. YOU KNOW how much your novia and all girls love looking at all of the pics and vids on your camera. Can you imagine forgetting the wrong memory card in your camera??

Ear Plugs and Eye Mask: I swear this sometimes is the most important thing for me on a trip, It can get noisy in Colombia and these are invaluable. Recharge those batteries.

Packing tape: I know this sounds funny but tape shut good all of those shampoos and creams in your suitcase or they WILL open and blow up all over your shit.

Extra $ store toothbrushes like 10 of them, I like to DFK special friends. I make them brush their teeth and they ain't using mines lol, fuck yeah I do!!

Regalitos: Some little gifts, nothing exorbitant of course, goes a long way! I pick up on sale decent shit from Walgreens and CVS.

I am still using some apps that can not work on Ipads so I am taking a longer 5m LAN cable for my 10" net book, some sleeping pills for the first few days to help me overcome the jet lag and 3-4m of light but strong string line in case I buy something that I have to tie better. Comes in especially handy as bathrooms don't have TP or they charge for it here. You can buy a pack at Carrefour / Exito and many pharmacys, costs like 1100 or something, cheaper than in the US.

I use the extra-sensible "M" brand condoms, the ones in the white pack. I've never tried Kimonos but they're much better than the "todays". The Dexex aren't bad either, but I prefer the "M". They also have "condones de tarjeta" here which come in a card-sized pack and have little packs of lube that are separate. I don't like the condones de tarjeta, they irritate my tip. Some of my friends swear by them.

You shouldn't brush your teeth OR make your partner (s) brush THEIR teeth 45 minutes before playtime. It's an STD risk.
