Oil is up, but that was from an low price due to the Saudis trying to drive the US frackers out of business. Now that Aramco is about to do a public offering, the Saudis are trying to jack the price of oil as high as they can. The only part oil price that you can blame on Trump is any increase due to the Iranian sanctions. But since the increase in oil prices began in summer 2016 and had already reached $70 before the Iran sanctions were announced, it is hard to justify blaming Trump for oil prices. There are a lot of issues that Trump can be criticized for, but the oil price isn't one of them.
