I already did an anonymous blood test for AIDS and syphilis, but in that small private clinic they don't have an urology department for a complete STD check.

If I use the urology department in one of those public hospitals, that wouldn't be anonymous anymore.

Does anyone knows, where in Taipei I could find a private urology clinic that provide anonymous STD check?

Another question is if I use my NHI card in those clinic or in a public hospital, would they ever send any notifications to my home address?

After I gathered all the info for a FULL anonymous STD's check-up, I will post a complete report to help other bro.

The link has a list of hospitals in Taiwan. But seems you have to be able to speak Chinese or Taiwanese National. Call the number of the hospital you want to go to make appointment. Then go and get checked.

Chinese characters don't display properly, so I am reediting this, but the top 2 on the link I found all have numbers. Just call to schedule an appointment.

If you don't speak or read Chinese, I guess you can try [url]http://www.tahsda.org.tw/[/url] I know it is the hospital of choice by AIT for immigration stuff so probably cater to foreigners.

-Fuxing Dunhua.

-Zhongxiao Fuxing.

-Hongshulin.

-Danshui.

All have places within walking distance of MRT. Most are $450-700 for 2hrs. You get what you pay for. Upscale places are $1K+. You shouldn't have problems finding places.

Has anyone tried a spa / sauna type place on Nanjing East Road. 2nd Section, about a block from the Westin Hotel on the other side of the street? The windows of that building are all blacked out and from the entrance it is clear that you can probably get extras there. But I haven't had the courage to venture inside. About 4 or 5 stores from the corner where you will see a Starbuck's, you will see a purple / mauve sign on the left-hand side for 2H NT999 massage with some Japanese katakana for massage. They will ask you if you want the more expensive oil massage, but I usually just turn that down. At this location, I recommend either No. 3 or No. 8. No. 3 is younger and worth groping. Her massage skills are quite good (just let her know if it's too strong or you want stronger). No. 8 is older and not worth grabbing, but her social skills are great and her massage skills are truly excellent. I found No. 8 by hearing a customer ask for her repeatedly while she was away. BTW, one thing you may want to try is asking the girls while they walk by in the halls for their No. If they look interesting. Avoid No. 18 at all costs. Knowing Chinese will help, but isn't really necessary. They seem to get many Japanese tourists here.

I have a feeling that these Thai Massage places are taking much of the blue collar customers, KTV is taking the high-end customers, and places like SS / JJ are probably hurting. IMHO, they are stuck in the worst spot with no extras in addition to sporadic / crappy service for the price. Just like housing in Taipei and salaries and so many other things here, it seems like the middle is hurting while the high and low ends are thriving.

Anybody on this board a regular at Shining Star? I go to the one near Linsen N. Road quite frequently.
