So you're going to a place with little action (not Phuket, etc). You have more options than a newbie. A newbie will have to quickly find a girl and hope she pans out for the week and pay her what she wants.

The impression I had for some reason was that he/they were regulars who knew her, or else customers from a previous night. For sure, she got the message that they were ready to take her out, whether it was spoken or didn't need to be spoken. The guy definitely had the look of an expat with a comfortable salary. Executive type. The woman was used as his proxy to go scoop up the girl in a way he could get away with -- if HE had walked up to the table and got her attention, yeah that would be the kind of thing to start a barfight, anywhere, I think. The woman looked like a frumpy secretary type, obviously not his love interest. She had the middle aged woman look, slightly heavy. She looked like somebody's aunt. One detail just came back to me: she left the full drink on my table there, had one mouthful before she left. Wow, I never heard this before. (I'm prune too.) Is there any truth in that? Don't worry, I'm not going out there with no condom. Just curious to know if circumcision has any effect on the likelihood of contracting AIDS.

stayed a few days in bangkok before going to pattaya. it was worth checking out, but pattaya is so much better, and cheaper. pattaya report in that section of the forum.

some details that might be helpful to other mongerers planning a trip:

pricing, lt with a go go girl, i usually paid 2,500 baht for the ones that were very hot, and 2,000 baht for the ones that were less hot but were fun to sit and have a drink with.

this is probably pretty well known, but soi cowboy is smaller than na na plaza, but so much nicer. more relexed, less dirty, less hectic. (and i will go out and be controversial here, the girls are also prettier.)

Honestly I think so long I still came here and ask, cause recently alot of issue about nobody contribute but keep asking for place to hang around. This is the category of ' sh.. happens' and in my opinion an exceptional situation.

I read it as:
The couple is a regular customer of the girl and was collecting her for a larger session (maybe group sex or so) where she can earn huge money compared to the ST rates regularly paid. If she wouldn't have followed the couple she might have lost them (and the huge money involved) forever as a customer. She probably made the offer in money and attitude to you only for you to be declined by you to - so to say to be polite and eventually to follow some 'house rules'. I guess with whatever behavior you wouldn’t have been able to get her this night.

Forget about this. Ok you didn’t get the girl you wanted but statistically this may not happen again. Such a situation is definitely very exceptional.

Sometimes I forget that not everyone is a native English speaker. As such, I write with an extended vocabulary which does make it difficult for non-English speakers to understand. I should try to write more simply. I should also avoid literary tricks which would confuse someone who doesn't speak English on a daily basis.

I should also not use colloquialisms (or slang) so often. I know the exact translations mean nothing to someone outside an English background.

I apologize. But it is difficult for someone who lives in a language to remember that those outside it may have difficulty. One reason for this is that so many of you here who do not use English as a first language are [b]so good[/b] at using it that we often forget, and treat you as native-speakers. That is to your credit. But I write extensively, and should learn to do so more simply.

But basically I was telling DG not to worry, he's OK and not a fool. But that he knows better and should not try to tell himself it was no big deal and that he wasn't really at risk. He knows he was at risk and should just not do it again. He knows this, but I didn't want to see him ignore the lesson.
