So, I've been to most thai massage parlours in Sliema. In most of them I got expert massage from thai women. Except in Thai sawadee in fact. I found that weird. When I go to a thai massage, I expect a thai masseuse, because they are the best at the job. These girls start massaging their grandparents at 6 years old, massaging is like a second nature to them. Also they all have a diploma from a thai massage school, so quality is always guaranteed with a thai woman. Also they smile all the time and make you feel good. Too bad they usually speak a very poor english.

If you're looking for a high quality massage by good looking 20-30 yo thai, then the best parlour I found is the Thaibaipo in Sliema. But nothing sexual there. The Thai Massage in P'Ville at the bottom end of the same street where Alley and CocoNut Grove used to be has not been mentioned much in this forum especially lately. I have not visited for nearly 2 years now. However, about 6 years ago, HR after massage was rampant there. You just paid something extra to the masseuse and almost all of them used to accept giving the extra. Some of the girls used to suggest it if you did not bring up the subject. It was extra money for them. Some used to get you aroused by suggesting that you take off your underpants, with the excuse that it gets sogged in oil if you don't or that it inhibits them during the massage. Than during the massage they would at times touch your prick every now and then. It was all very erotic, and aimed at getting you really hot and making you willing to pay more for the HR. They would usually ask for a €30 tip then you have to negotiate to get the price down. These circumstances all depended on the individual girl too. I always got the impression that it wasn't something officially allowed by the management, and all tips went to the girl.

However, once plenty of Chinese Massages started mushrooming all over the island, this thai place started suffering in business. I often visited and there were hardly any customers, girls were grumbling that they spent sometimes days without customers, and that the Chinese were taking their business because they were offering more extras for the same or even less money. No Thai girl used to give the massage naked, and it almost always stopped at HR.

To make matters worse, at one point I visited for a massage and when I asked for a HR, the girl declined (she was a new girl not one of the previous ones) , replying that if I really wanted that another girl would come in to do the job, and that was against a €30 fee which was not negotiable. The previous girls had been sacked from the place and presumably the fixed €30 fee was going to the management. I declined the offer and spent some time away from the place.

Later on I had visited again and was this time massaged by an older aged woman who accepted to do a HR for a more reasonable price. Once again I got the impression that it was done clandestinely.

I havn't been to this place for ages now for a massage. However this summer I decided to give it another try but when I went in through the front door there were plenty of foreigners in the waiting room, and the person at the reception told me I had to wait for over an hour. I left and did not return since.

I don't have any idea what the issue with extras is at the moment, but exploring and finding out for oneself is part of the fun!
