Luvtorim,
Great report, keep it coming. How was Ms. Beergarten? Was she a MILF?
BTW, I loved the "rode hard and put away wet" reference, it's been a long time since I heard that one. :)

Great report, that's the way should go. I wander you have the number of the girls
Wow, I never heard this before. (I'm prune too.) Is there any truth in that? Don't worry, I'm not going out there with no condom. Just curious to know if circumcision has any effect on the likelihood of contracting AIDS.
Yes it's true without foreskin the danger to get HI-V is lower, since the inside skin of the foreskin (is that the word?) is the most sensitive part of the penis. Also when you are circumcision your penis is not more so sensitive since the top of your dick is not more protected by the foreskin, will say it's like horny skin (callus). It's also proved by tests.

This discussion should really be in the Safe Sex in Thailand section, but since it started here, might as well try to finish it here. I went searching on Google about this issue, because I had read the same articles. I found a rather scholarly article http://www.cirp.org/library/disease/HIV/. Pasted below is the general conclusion of one that seems to be based in a lot of facts.
The google page lists lots of news articles both pro and con. Quite easy to confuse yourself here and if you cherry pick you can find articles to support either side.
Like so many other things in life, there are so many factors involved here, it is difficult to be sure what the real conclusion should be. Inescapable is that covered is safer, but I think we all know the temptation and how weak the mind is at those crucial moments.
"The Cochrane Review found that the existing studies fail to control for most of these confounding factors so the evidence produced is unreliable. After more than forty studies over a span of time greater than a decade, the Fink hypothesis that circumcision somehow reduces HIV infection remains unproven. Ntozi recognizes that this idea that circumcision can reduce HIV infection is only a hypothesis, but would like to see a controlled study carried out to see if circumcision would reduce the tragic epidemic that continues to rage in Africa.34
From time to time the popular press reports that one doctor or another recommends circumcision to reduce HIV infection. While it may be their personal opinion that circumcision prevents HIV transmission, since this has not yet been conclusively demonstrated, these opinions cannot be considered informed medical opinions. Frequently, the news item is based on a single study rather than the complete body of the medical literature. It would be foolish to base public health policy on such reports."
The risk is lower, but not low enough to abandon the glove. Leave it on and enjoy. It's not worth the risk.
I just came back from spending two three weeks in LOS. I went to Korat to see my GF and her family. One thing un-unsual about this trip is the return to SFO. I was transitting via SFO to head back home to Seattle. Normally, I would just breeze through US cusotm as I normally declared "nothing" and is clean-I have never been caught carry the usual "DVD, fruit and/or somethig else". This time, the agent diverted me to the check line. He asked me the usual questions of "have DVD? , have fake stuffs? " and finally "what do you have on your computer? ". He went on to check through each and everyone of the pictures I have in my photo directory. Even asked if I have pictures that I stored in some other hidden directory somewhere. I have over 8, 000 pictures of mostly my family and friends (it took him almost five minutes of quick scanning through my photo organizer to finish the check. He also asked me if I have pictures of naked girls in my computer. I told him that I do and they are in this folder. He went through them and asked me if they are young girl under 16. I told him that all of the girls in the pictures are over 25 yo. He told me that techincally, I am violating US law for bringing these pictures over the borders. However, he will let me through this time. He told me that I should delete any naked pictures that I obtained oversea. In all, I spent 30 minutes at the detail inspection station and nothing else was found.
I wonder if this is a new tactic by the US custom? . Have any brother out there expience something similar to my exprience?
Reports, mostly studying Africans, attribute the foreskin thing to the amount of Langerhans cells in the foreskin. Anyone who knows anything about immunology will tell you that these are very important as first recipients of many antigens, including viruses like HIV. And yes, especially when inflamed the foreskin can have more Langerhans cells.
However, most studies done involve Africa, with risky, and uncontrollable sex practices, and already have the answer before the question.
Take the stats with a pinch of salt. They are not really that representative. How many caucasians were studied?
aren't most American men circumcised, so do they have a 40-60 % less infection rate per head of population than other western men who are not?
The WHO is shitting itself with HIV/AIDS in Afriva, and any straw they can clutch helps. Maybe the simple fact that the people in the study took on board some health tips made a difference, who knows?
For those of you who believe HIV/AIDS is for real, the botom line is cover up, don't rely on stats and presumptions.

Right at Suk and Soi 4 there is a ton of African tourists there. Many are with their families, many students and many not sex tourists. Many of the guys are from Nigeria and there for the same fun as your average white boy is there for. Many of the African countries have a 1/3rd infection rate. What is to stop a mischievous sexpat from pulling off the bag while doing the "doggy", especially if he has nothing to lose? Going unbagged there is as dangerous being a Marine in a major Iraqi city, unarmed and without body armour, only the death is slower and more agonizing for the former.

They are not tourists or students. They have overstayed their visas. If you had a choice of living in Africa or Thailand which would you chose?

Last three trips to LOS I've been pulled over by U.S. Customs on my return to the U.S. In January. I was searched for nearly an hour. They looked at everything, including my laptop. Nothing suspicious on it, but they sure looked at everything. I upload all photos to an Internet site before leaving LOS, then delete and use a file scrubber on the memory to remove all traces, even of innocent photos.
If you don't want to go to those lengths - and its advisable if you have X-rated stuff - learn to use an encrypted file. Apparently if you fit a certain profile - more than a certain number of trips to LOS in a certain period - they pull you over. A colleague had his laptop seized, didn't get it back for six weeks. Another guy I know who travels to cambodia on business won't even take a laptop or camera, it's 100% he'll be hassled by Customs.
This doesn't happen when I visit Europe, Japan, China, Hong Kong or Taiwan. Apparently you go on the shitlist if you visit LOS, PI or Cambodia.

What did you tell them the purpose of the trip was? I have never been hassled by customs. I usually am on business though and when asked always tell them the name of the corporation I work for. Since it is a large, very recognizable name, they usually just wave me through.
I have a feeling that if you tell them holiday, it sets off the alarms with them.
This Customs guy is clearly a stupid asshole. He's way out of line by saying you technically violated the laws with nude pictures. These guys are mostly uneducated hourly workers for US Customs who are a shame to their country.
I suggest you take down names and his badge numbers of any government workers harassing citizens and write letters to complaint to their department, then follow up with phone calls to confirm actions by their management. If they hassle enough people without just causes, they may be introduced to the Department of Unemployment, then The Department of Homelessness... Active citizenship is the only way one can improve upon the government.
The last time an US Border agent messed with me, I wrote down his name, badge number and time on a piece of scrap paper. His attitude turned around 180 deg immediately.

I was detained for 30 minutes or so for no reason. They checked my whole suitcase (I didn't have a computer). Hassled me. Accused me of lewd activities, etc. And tore apart my suitcase. I was so pissed!
I wish there was something we could do about being detained and hassled to the max.
Any ideas? Oh, I was doing nothing illegal besides seeing friends and some women in Thailand and visiting Vietnam.
1Ball and others posted since last year re customs, particularly searching laptops, cameras, etc. and SFO was one gateway listed.
I've been in/out 3 or 4 times a year for close to 30 yrs and never hassled once...but I think because they identify me as business traveler and not monger ;)
I just searched and didn't find reference to this, so I'll ask:
Is the issue arrival in US directly from LOS? Or is it the same hassle arriving from HK, having been in LOS the week before? Do they cross reference everywhere you've been, or just where you're arriving from that day?
I usually travel through HK and am wondering if that fits their hassle profile. They won't find anything, but I would still hate to be hassled.
