I'm here now, first visit. I was uncertain as to what to anticipate based on prior posts.
Guests are greeted by reception where it's explained:
1) key with a number to track expenses.
2) dress code amounting to "wear whatever you want" (sic).
3) menu listing rooms based on class starting from R500; fee includes room and "date".
4) directions to a locker room, a narrow space from reception with half meter lockers.
5) door leading to what amounts to their lounge with a small standing bar.
The lounge is a space similar to any dive bar in Europe or North America. The green national flags adds to the unintended Irish bar impression.
Nearly every guest with one exception opted for the robe uniform; a thin cheap towel stitched as a robe with small pockets.
I estimate there are exactly a dozen standing women and another half with men seated along the typical padded bench. All in bikinis or underwear. Prior lingerie characterizations are a stretch.
Imagine Irish dive bar with women in plain underwear and bikinis.
The women are not aggressive or pushy, music is present but not loud. It's laid back unlike the club impression I expected based on other posts.
Talent ranges from one petite girl, a third obviously in love with heavy Brasilian buffets, and everything in between. Havent seen any stunners. Mostly white, several tan, I do not see the abundance of dark women others described. I like black women as much as any other. Oddly, saving Asian women who are typically a personal disappointment.

I would say the place will pick-up by 6 pm when the local office workers show up. The girls will have more energy when the regulars arrive.
Now every day is different, but it's likely more girls will continue to arrive.

Irish dive bar with girls in underwear. Yep. That's pretty much the summary! 😂 Can be good fun if you take it for what it's worth and find a hottie in the mix.

Last time I was there, I found a branca hottie who was taking it in the ass. And she wasn't wearing underwear. She was wearing a Wonder Woman themed bikini. Most of the times I have gone, the girls have been in skimpy bikinis.

Only thing better is the FKKs that have naked with just high heels.
I'd also point out to the OP that 4 X4 can definitely be high energy at times. So many times I've been there and it's pretty quiet and laid back. I take a garota upstairs and when I come back down an hour later, there's a ton of energy with more and different women and the place is poppin.

I've never used this site before, since I always go to termas and don't like surprises and like a safe environment. I'm thinking about giving it a try this trip. Has anyone ever had a problem with visiting a girl at her place? I mean getting robbed or set-up for something. I'm only looking at Verified advertisements. Please let me / us know if this is a problem in Rio (or any other cities for that matter). Thanks in advance for your input.

You will get surprises though. But I like surprises. Last time the girl looked better than the person whose pictures she was using. And all for the low 100 reais. It was the same building as Eden Spa and all, but you enter it on the other street. Tons of them are in Nossa Senhora 583 and Siquiera Campos 43. One of them I called the chick out because on the ad she had tattoos, but on the whatsapp pic she did not. I never bother about worrying whether it is verified or not. I just add the whatsapp and ask if they are available.
A friend in the rich world said it costs 650 USD dollars for an hour with a hot stripper at a strip club. Holy fuuuuccccckckc. That's why 4 x4, and actually the centro prives and so called trash termas, where you do find actual porn stars working.

One tangible indicator would be the garotas dancing and showing off. Beyond that for me is energetic music, which obviously is a matter of taste.
My point was just that all termas vary a lot from hour to hour, day to day, and week to week. I've had times in 4 X4, Monte Carlo, Solarium, Centaurus, etc where they are loaded with attractive women and the vibe is strong. Then I come back the following day or week and the atmosphere is laid back. And sometimes just an hour makes a big difference.
