I used to go to Neptune a lot as I used to regularly drink in Wanchai and that is where my buddies like to go when it gets late. I have never taken a gal out of there but have friends who regularly go there every week and think paying HK$1000+ ST is reasonable. But then I used to go nightclubbing with them in Hong Kong and Macau and have paid HK$2000+ ST.

I have not visited him in 2 years however prior to then, I saw him twice a year.
His is a small shop with a great variety of suit and shirt material. I have 8 suits, 20 shirts, 3 blazers and 5 pairs of dress slacks - all bought from him.

Everything is top quality and holds up very well to travel and dry cleaning.

Both are GF. You have no problems there.

Novotel is within walking distance of the action in Wanchai, whereas the Charterhouse is a short cab ride away.

The Novotel's rooms are slightly better.

[/QUOTE]King's is a notoriously bad bar/club, and not because of the ladies drinks (there are, for info, different priced ladies drinks. They offer the highest priced ones as a matter of course but you can tell them you want the $140 ones). I went in to Kings several years ago. Was having a nice time until one of the girls who thought I was being well distracted snuck her hand into my pocket and lifted a $1, 000 from me. I clearly saw it. I asked for it back, she pretended that nothing happened. I asked Mama-san who was sitting right there. She said nothing happened. I made a stink and she said. Go call the cops. Thinking that I wouldn't want the attention, which I didn't. But I did call the cops. They came, said they couldn't do anything, said they would escort me to the bank to get more money to pay my bill. I mean, WTF. Along the way, the officer said to me that King's was the worst bar on the strip, known to all the police as a rip-off place, padding the tab, stealing money, etc. And that it was best to avoid that one. So it's not just the high priced ladies drinks. It's basically plain thievery at work.

I stay regularly at the Charterhouse - absolutely no problem there.
Come out of the hotel, turn left and after 10 mins walk you are in the middle of Wanchai. A taxi back is around $HK20.
There are also the Cosmo and Cosmopolitan Hotels round the corner facing the racecourse - again no problem with bringing a friend back and they may just be slightly better hotels than the Charterhouse but there is nothing in it. Can't wait for my 2-week next trip in November. Hope Fenwicks will be open - its the best!

I stayed in Novotel last trip and I liked it a lot. I had no problem with girls. They have a second entrance on Jaffe which is where cabs drop you off. It is right next to the elevators, so you don't have to walk across the lobby with your toys. Not that I think that would matter. I did have fun the last time with a very conservative couple sharing the elevator with a Vietnamese stunner on my arm that didn't look a day over 18.

I was excited about visiting HK once again. I have been coming about twice a year since 2007 and can definitely say this is one of the best destinations for mongering. HK is one of those places that even if you do not RTFF or arrive unprepared, it should not be a problem provided you are willing to explore. I usually stay in Kowloon (Tsim Shat Sui or Mong Kok) so have no idea about Wanchai.

HK offers some amazing options to monger ranging from apartment girls, saunas, street girls and bars. You can even Google the options and a variety of options will be presented. Before arriving I did RTFF briefly as well as another forum which was extremely useful. If you follow both these there is no need to ask a single question on the HK forum, unless you're just lazy.

My first night I'd booked myself to stay at the Langham Place in Mong Kok on my inbound journey for the night. The hotel itself is amazing and definitely five star however the surroundings are poor. Mong Kok is not the nicest part of HK but hotel is in a good mongering location. Checked in and had a shower and went to the adjacent mall to grab a bite to eat. Then I moved to the nearby 37D, the directions are which are freely available on ISG if you look properly.

Arrived at 37D and made my way to the first floor. For those who want to know, 37D is below an hourly hotel connected to the 37D. Was led to the hotel room upstairs where the charges were extra (didn't know about this). Okay room, slightly hot and cramped but ok for the deed. Try the tailor shop inside the Sheraton in TST (walking distance from the ferry), I ordered some shirts there a few years ago, good quality at a reasonable price.

So I call up a hotel reservation on 141 website. I picked a girl named Fiona, called and the operator told me to go to Regal Hotel in Kowloon, at the East Tsim Sha Tsui. I came right away after calling. Went up to the room, and knocked on the door several times. Waited for about 8 mins, at the front door.
