My experience was quite different. No pushy concierge, no ugly girls and no roach ridden food which was not even ordered. I'm not denying that your report is accurate by any means, I believe every word you say, nor am I trying to promote this area or particular venue for any reason of gain. I'm sure the all inclusive price I was quoted was 2,500 but as I said I didn't indulge anyway. Can't say I blame you if you never go back there either, I doubt I would if my experience had come anywhere close to your's. Definitely a true statement YMMV.

Well I'm back in Thailand after a hiatus of over twenty years. Lots of changes some for bad others for good, anyways that's a different topic. It's that it isn't cheap as people tend to think. I remember 10 years or so ago my first trip here took a nice slender girl from Harlem cafe and cost 1500 include room and beer cost like 60 bahts for a small bottle.
