Strange Experience with Thai Girl
hit wan chai about 3 am thu night/fri morning. laguna was completely dead. hit traffik. talked to a few girls, then i saw this hottie with about 3 european guys, but somehow instantly she peeled off and started talking to me. she told me her name was sukanya and she was half thai and half mexican. she instantly agreed to $1000 st which i found a little odd.
so we went to ming court. while on the way there, she said, let's hurry, there's a guy following us. i turned around and saw some dude about 20m behind us but couldn't tell whether he was following us or not. but maybe she was right so i quickened my pace and went to our room. there were two middle eastern guys in the elevator with us, when we got up to the desk they showed us to a room immediately and told the middle eastern guys $380. i was about to say wtf why so much? but they quickly showed me to a room and asked me for only $280. lol
anyway, when we got into the room this girl told me she had been a model in thailand and that she was a little bit famous and that people like to take pictures of her like paparazzi, and that she'd been seen on star tv, and that if we walked out of the place together we'd probably see photographers and our pictures would be in the thai media. wtf???? i said are you serious, why didn't you mention this before, is that what that guy following us was doing? if so i am not even touching you, get the fuck out of here and i am not paying you. then she said, just kidding, you seem nervous so i am just playing with you. i said that is not the way to play with me, that pisses me off and i am not paying you. she said okay okay just settle down.
now i realize what she said is extremely unlikely but still, that sort of thing rattles the nerves. so we did the deed; she wasn't that good but serviceable. fake tits, shaved ****, standard.
afterward she said i better leave first if you don't want your picture taken, there are probably people waiting outside. i was about to get pissed again but i figured just let her leave since i didn't want to be around her anymore anyway.
when i left there wasn't anyone in sight except a couple of drunkards and a few indian dudes being harrassed by the police.
has anyone ever encountered this ***** and have any info about her?
Re: Strange Experience with Thai Girl
Johnny Rocket, I don't understand why you got angry with the girl. It seemed that she was just trying to lighten the mood. The only thing you should be mad about is that you were charged $280 at Ming Court. They tried charging me $200 once, but I claimed to have paid only $160 before, to which they agreed. I was lying though and only had read on this forum that the rate was $160!
Thanks and one additional hotel question
Thanks everyone!
I should add that I am staying for almost 3 weeks this time if that matters in the decision.
I liked what I read about the Cosmo and Cosmopolitan (as well as the price on some websites) but do not want to have to sign in my guests after midnight.
And they sound farther away than I thought.
How about the Ice House? That's serviced apartments and it sounds decent and the price is good.
Is the Metropark Wan Chai *too* close to the action? Could be good as the last time, I had to take my girl from East Tsim Sha Tsui in a cab to Wan Chai the next morning to get her clothes when she decided to stay with me for another day.
Cinta J (spelling?) is a good restaurant in Wan Chai, if a bit pricey. And I spied some Thai places there that looked promising.
This time, I'm spending less on food and staying closer for sure.
One additional hotel request
I liked what I read about the Cosmo and Cosmopolitan (as well as the price on some websites) but do not want to have to sign in my guests after midnight. And they sound farther away than I thought.
Try the Charterhouse Hotel in Wan Chai Road (near Times Square). Its GF and you don't sign in girls at night. Its 5 mins from Causeway Bay MTR and only 10 mins walk from the heart of Wanchai. Get a superior room as the others are on the small side, particularly as you are there for 3 weeks. I am staying there myself in November for 2 weeks.
The Cosmo and Cosmopoilitan Hotels are fine - nothing wrong with them. Get a room at the front if the cemetary at the back bothers you. I have stayed in them all. There must be some slow walkers in our midst! Come out of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and there is a underpass right outside of the front door. Take it to the other side of the road, turn left and go up past the entrance to the football club. Pass it , turn left at the end of the road and walk down to Times Square past the Cricket Club on your LHS (its now a bowling club). It takes 5/6 mins to the MTR. From memory, the hotels run a courtesy bus to Times Square during the day. A taxi to Wan Chai is only 5 mins and costs about HK$20.
There are dozens of good eating places in the area - depends what you are looking for. I would not stay right in Wan Chai - too near the action!
