Phnom Penh

Just re read my post on the ball massage-she was happy with the two dollar tip.

Cyrcee is on st 49, that is one west of norodom, between 130 and 136.

So I'll be arriving in PP on 11 April. I now realise that Cambodian New Year is a few days afterwards. I know, as in Saigon where I used to live, that people go home for New Year.

So am I going to have trouble getting girls over this period? Are the strips on 104, 136, Walkabout, Martini's etc going to be running as usual?

Any insights welcome.

I have been following the Pit Stop Bar's blog for about a month and some of the girls there seem to be 7-8's from the photos. Does anyone have first hand experience with the place? The owner says that he is trying to attract only great looking quality girls, which I always a great thing in my book!

The drinks were pricy and the atmosphere was bad. The lady who attached herself to me was pushy, annoying, and ugly. I was the only one in there and quickly left. Maybe I went at the wrong time of day. It's supposed to be a late late night spot. I agree that the bar blog is a good read and wish the owner well in turning the place around.

Went in last night, very sad state of affairs. Hardly any girls, and the ones that were there were almost reptilian like.

Will try it tonight when it is very late.

Made my last pass over this place at about 1am. This was the 3rd time I tried this place so I can now delcalre it a worthless endevor. Had three gals and a mamson. As it is an open air bar, if you do not see it differently avoid it.

First, let me apologize for my spelling, this keybord at the hotel is a real pip.

General Observations: Unlike Thailand or the Philippines, its more a younger mans game here. I do not say that out of vindictiveness, its just the truth. The better looking girls seem to gravitate to the younger guys. I observed this countless times, and believe me I spend a lot of time observing. In Thailand its more a money game, and he who has it. In the Philippines, tell a gal you are from the states and you are halfway in her pants, regardless of your age.

Nonetheless, the people here are absolutely great. Wonderfull sense of human, and they seem to go a little further to please. Particularly impressed by how friendly the guys are. I know the moto / tuk drivers are a real pain sometimes, but after the negotiation and the ride 99% of them smiled and thanked me. You all know how the guys in Thailand are, a fight breaks out involving a westerner and they all jump in, its like the national sport. The Philippine men are far more dangers to mess with, especially when they drink. Many of them are also armed.

I walked all over this town until 4 or 5 am and never felt physically threatened. I did stay in the more well lighted popular areas. It seems you are more likely to get seriously injured on a motor, or by one just walking in the street. Newbies should not take this lightly, it is a serious concern.

Unlike the Thais and Filipino's, the gals here are not great actresses, maybee thats good. One thing they need to do is open up a BJ Academy here. Most of the girls (all Cambodian) had no problem with this, however, they are really not that good. In one case the gal was pulling like she was drinking a milk shake.

Lastly, I would like to thank you guys for being so patient in answering my questions, really felt like I had a leg up as a result of your being so kind as to answer my, sometimes rhetorical, questions.

Well, a few months and off to the Philippines.

Cambodians can be charming people, no doubt about it. But despite the general feeling of safety these days, it's still a place where you want to keep your wits about you. Things can get rough in a hurry.

Agree wholeheartedly, just my general observation.

Given the economic disparity being what it is, your point is well taken.

I'm younger, and in Thailand it often works against me because it's only about money and the girls all want an older rich guy who will send them some every month. In Cambodia I'm more popular because the girls want a younger guy. Not sure why the difference exactly.
