Everyone here wants Pfizer or Moderna.
It just shows that they are brainwashed. It doesn't mean these 2 shit are good for them.
Nobody knows the composition of these two shits and we don't know yet what their side effects are.
By the way, mode-rna is in big trouble in Japan with more than 1.5 millions doses infected with an unknown black product that reacts like metal and already killed two healthy men of 30 years old.
Do yourself a favor, get your head out of the sand and start looking elsewhere than your beloved American msm.

Vax v Unvax
The whole vaccinationation / mask wearing argument is just ridiculous in the USA at the moment. Unlike any other intelligent western country. If you google "what percentage of covid hospitalizations are vaccinated" and then go to any of the proper scientific sites. The stats will come back 95% of people in hospital with covid are unvaccinated. Less than 5% of those in hospitals are fully vaccinated. Why is there even a debate on this topic?
Civilized people are not too worried about the USA, which broadly divided into several distinct regional areas (Dixie belt, Ca, NYNY, Chicago and fly over states). These differences are pronounced even in the Covid reaction, as Florida exemplifies.
As Thais are generally semi-literate, their opinions are no big deal. They are not an informed group and are much like Americans in that respect.

But fuck them; they don't know shit. Folks have been lied to for so long that when they are finally told the truth they will not accept it.
And yesterday it came out that 2 top FDA vaccine people quit because the White House has been pushing a booster shot program that nobody knows is safe or not. But as I said, do your own research and do what you feel is best for you. I don't have a dog in the fight.

Vaccination supplies
Is Thailand still buying Sinovac or have all the new purchases switched to something different?
My friends are saying things consistent with the report from MaxBKK. Thai people are left in an awkward position. They are refusing an available vaccine now in hopes that they can get the Pfizer or Moderna in the future. I also have 1 friend who prepaid for Moderna but got the Astra Zeneca because it was available.
Thailand is currently saying they have 140 million shots ordered for delivery.
They are using and still buying, or being given, sinovac, sinopharm, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer.
Private hospital ordered purchases are of moderna and J&J.

There is an investigation into why the government is paying $19 a shot when sinovac only costs about $11. The difference most likely getting put into the pockets of the ones in power.
They are mixing 1 sinovac shot with 1 shot of Astra and claiming it a big success. The realty is that Astra is doing all the heavy lifting. Sinovac is marginally effective.

No
Yeah and maybe his friend wouldn't have been sick if he hadn't been vaccinated.
Your just repeating what the msm is saying for months.
As we say, repeat a lie multiple times and one day you're going to believe it yourself.
I'm repeating what scientists everywhere are saying. You know, the experts, not message board or twitter heroes.
If you want to say that the mRNA technology is new and we need to be careful and monitor things closely, I would agree with you. But what you are saying now has no basis in fact. These vaccines are being monitored and statistics compiled more closely than maybe any other drugs in history. People who have no skin in the game are doing it as well as the American media (who I also do not trust). If problems show up, we'll know about it. And I'm not talking about anecdotes. I'm talking about trends. There was a problem with blood clots in a very small number of people. We found out about it. If you are correct, why didn't the American media and these other power brokers hide it? You're paranoid and it's the type of thinking that gets people killed and prolongs the pandemic.

About 5,000 people a day are vaccinated in Pattaya, Monday. Friday. The goal is to have 70% vaccinated by October 15, when everything is to be opened. The issue is that restaurants are open now, but customers and workers are still mostly unvaccinated.
Among the ladies coming to my place, most have had one shot, and expect to be fully vaccinated by the end of the month.
I'm repeating what scientists everywhere are saying. You know, the experts, not message board or twitter heroes.
The basic problem is very few people have the education, smarts, and experience to understand the relationship between the virus, the symptoms it causes, and the vaccine. Very few read and understand the peer reviewed scientific papers. Of the remaining 99.9% of the population, some will believe what the experts summarize and some won't. Some reporters do a good job of explaining the issues, others cloud the issues, others use fake information for political or financial gain, and some distort the facts.
There is plenty of information available from reasonable sources so everybody in advanced nations can each make their own decisions. I've given up trying to convince people that my view is correct. This is a self limiting process, a sort of Darwinism for the 21st Century. The populations who guess wrong (to vaccinate or not to vaccinate) are suffering or will suffer in the future. Their choice. I do not feel bad for people who made the wrong choice, perhaps I made the wrong choice and it may kill or disable me. I feel bad for the people of Thailand and other places who do not have the opportunity to make that same choice.

I usually just ignore it, but I feel like they are prolonging the misery for all of us, including the people of Thailand, who do not have full access to the vaccines.

But the way this Pandemic works is the anti-science, anti-vaxxers who do get infected and, not being vaccinated, find themselves sick enough to require hospitalization suddenly believe in science enough to want medical science to save their lives. And then they fill the hospitals and keep the scientists working there so busy they might not have the time and facilities to deal with ailments and accidents that will still happen. And that lack of immediate attention sometimes can and will lead to death.
At that point, the anti-science, anti-vaxxers are no longer just wandering into the forest to politely die alone with dignity. They are instead risking Murder-Suicide By Covid and that does involve me and the rest of society.
Also, this virus wants unvaccinated host bodies to help it more effectively replicate, mutate and produce variants that are already showing signs of potentially evading the protections of current vaccines. So, again, it isn't as though the anti-science, anti-vaxxers are only harming themselves and the rest of us can afford to stand by and watch what happens to them with detached amusement.

I had a low intensity day yesterday.
First off, I had 2 older ladies over, but one told me she was not going to drink since she is a recovering alcoholic. The other was a civvie who owns a bakery. They had lived in Italy for many years (separately), and cooked spaghetti from scratch. Yumm. The recovering Alkie is trying the "you my boyfriend " routine.
The second pair was a future mamasan, sort of a Sarah Huckabee Sanders type, and the other a Soi 6 lady with silicon enhancements. The big lady couldn't drink much due to an imminent vaccination, and she was quiet. I didn't do much with either, and I didn't drink much.
The overnight lady was efficient, she gave me a BBBJCIM and I fell asleep.

I would say that she will be here in 40 minutes, but I don't want her sponsors to be angry. So, I will have to say that she will be working next week in Camel Toe.
Oops, I was wrong, she came early.
