Am I the only one who notices that a lot of the women around Carrera 8 have jaundice (yellowing of the eyes / skin)? Does anyone know the official (or unofficial) numbers on Hepatitis in Cali? I never do BBFS but am a little concerned about BBBJ with some of these women.

Who knows what diseases the Carrera 8 SW chicas have. I imagine they have more than just hepatitis, probably all the sexual ones (gonorrhea, syphilis, AIDS etc.). That's the chances you take in the Carrera 8 'hood.

Someone mentioned safety in Downtown Cali being on par with Downtown Medellin. In my humble opinion they are night and day with Medellin being a lot worse. In Cali I feel a lot more safe and notice that there are less homeless on the street and feel more comfortable as long as I dress down and walk with purpose. I do want to point out that I am brown skinned, so this has helped me blend in a lot better in Cali.
Went to Bar Le 20 last night. I guess I didn't read the forum well enough to realize that the bar does in fact have two locations (right across the street from each other). I liked this setup as I could sit in one bar for 30min or so and then go into the one across the street for some variety.

I paid 40k with room for a heavyset woman with long curly hair and big knockers (I'm a sucker for big breasts). The room was decent and had a little bathroom area and some porn playing on the TV. She washed me off and gave me an average CBJ followed by very mechanical sex. I'm not sure if it is the language barrier, but I am having a hard time getting anywhere near GFE in Colombia (that includes Bogota, Medellin and now Cali). At this point, my trip to Colombia hasn't paid of economically. While the general quality of woman has been better than the USA, the service has been a whole lot lower. I'm the type of guy that would take a 5 or 6 with excellent service over a dead fish / clock watching stunner any day of the week.
What am I doing wrong here guys? Any help would be appreciated. I'm hoping to salvage this trip and have many more in the future!

Never had I have a problem and I travel solo. Sure you do not venture down near empty streets at night or in the daytime for that matter in el centro, that does not take too many street smarts. A very smart man once told me if you are not in bed by midnight go home, okay so push the clock and when you leave the club take cab. I have taken a cab for 3 blocks at 2am, big deal 4500cop. Cheap insurance for $3.
Don't give extra money upfront for GFE, since there is no causal relation between the two. Just like flu or lottery, GFE comes to you rather than you comming to GFE. Just try many chicas. Plus, wear stylish clothes and speak Spanish. Tell them how pretty they are.

But I like those Colombian beer prices too, at 2500COP a guy can drink all day and it doesn't cost very much. Those Colombian dudes hit the booze strong, drinking the hard stuff and pitchers of beer.
