East China - Shanghai

Damn gone to Jinglin the place is crap, I mean the facilities look like BBS and the oil they used stink.

I rather recommend an adress on Panyu road (cross Hongqiao road) for this service. I can't recall the number. It's on the left of the street, one block before a supermarket.

2 years ago it was the best place in shanghai for whatever service you want. Facilities were very nice (nice room, bath, shower area, huge fishbowl with glass) They had closed down the spa and full service a year ago.

Now they now just offer same kind of massage than jinglin. But the room is quite nicer and service better.

1hour for oil massage cost 198 rmb and then you will tip 100 if you want to have more than your back.

Otherwise they also offered it for 396 rmb for 2 hours and then you don't have to tip.

First visit to China / Shanghai coming up in a few weeks. Staying a week so some ladies will be needed.

I'm going to stay at the Howard Johnson. Are any of the "famous" places Bodi. 999 Malones in the neighboorhood?

If you had any familiarity with Shanghai it would be a simple matter to get to the so called famous places you want to go. For instance, Malones, Judy's and Manhattan are just 3 subway stops away in Jingan Temple. But a 5 min walk from the station and maybe you won't be oriented to find your way to those bars. Sarcosa is just 2 subway stations away (dongchang lu). But then a 10 min walk and the directions are a bit complicated (I saw them on here once but haven't been there myself).

Be aware that Nanjing Lu is a main shopping area and people walking area in Shanghai and that if you walk on the street, as I suspect you will, you will be approached by lots of touts and women. Probably all will scam you so I recommend ignoring them all. The touts will take you to a karaoke and you will be charged an excessive amount for nothing. The girls will take you to a tea shop to dirink tea and talk and you will be charged an excessive amount for nothing.

So, for fishbowl experience, I recommend Bodi. The address is 1245 Longyang Road. Take the line 2 subway to the Longyang station. Walk outside the station, under the maglev station to the taxi rack and take a taxi. It's a 5 min ride. Have the concierge of your hotel write "1245 Longyang Lu" in Chinese so you can't give it to the taxi driver.

For picking up take out girls, the easiest bet is Manhattan at 154 Nanyang Lu. Again, have the concierge write the address in Chinese and take a taxi. Maybe 10mins from your hotel. Manhattan is slim pickings until after 10pm with most girls arriving around 11 or 12 (why the hell is that? What are these girls doing til then, anyone know?).

But the closest sauna to your location is probably Sacrosa, though it is across the river, which you can take Metro Line 2 to get there and it's only like 2 stops away. (Exit at Dong Chang road station)

Use the search function for more exact details.

Bodi is only a bit farther then Sacrosa so you can take Line 2 down to Longyang Road Station then proceed by taxi. (Probably 15 or less RMB from the station to Bodi)

999 is the farthest of the 3, despite it being on the same side of the river as your hotel. I would estimate taxi fare to be around 45RMB from your hotel to 999. You could proceed by metro line which is obviously cheaper but I don't recommend it for first-timers because changing lines can be confusing for the inexperienced.

If you want to proceed by Metro to 999, nearest station is Shanghai Stadium but you should exit from the Line 4 exits. It's a bit complicated to describe.
