General Questions. 2 months in a Latino country
Hi,
I have 2 months holiday and I want to spend it in on location if possible. I usually go to Pattaya as it has EVERYTHING. But latino women make my heart skip a beat. Is it possible in Cartegna to do the following:
* learn spanish and dancing for 2 months.
* do a bootcamp / get a personal trainer for 2 months to lose weight.
* hire an apartment that allows guests (and ideally asks for their I'd to be left behind while the guest is in the apartment)
* have ST and LT fun.
* good time to go in Jun-Aug.
What sort of costs will I be looking at?
You do need other things to do.
The fun factor will not compare to Pattaya, but life is all about different experiences. It is good that you have a game plan and do not plan on just chasing women. Otherwise, it would be a long 2 months.
Always a problem for me on the long trips I take is the boredom factor. After you see the sites in a location then you find yourself with too much time on your hands till you do your huntng. I'm 42 days in Colombia, and had to get out of MDE as I was bored. I'm in Santa Marta now as I love the beach. Problem is the water is very cold. Of the 6 days I have been here I have only been able to swim one day.
I think I will have to reconsider Lima again as I can bet American horse racing there. This kills the afternoon, and leaves me the night for the hunt. Also the DR has horse racing, I think, but I'm not sure. Anyone know of other areas where I could bet on USA races please PM me. I'm not interested in Purto Rico (sic) as it is too expensive there for me.
Truth be told Medellin can be Boring

I have a good buddy who lives down there and I can remember him saying ". Well if you're not fucking constantly there ain't shit to do!" hahahhaha!
There are just so many variations of going out drinking and partying that you can do. Diner at Lleres (The Food is HORRIBLE in Colombia and really bad in Medellin, Going to clubs, bar hoping, The finca or little villages for a weekend, casino for small stakes, and going to the mall. That's it! Other than Chicas.
I spend my time taking on line classes, helping out my novia run errands, work out a bit (Walking-Jog combo for a few miles every day or at least I try to) and casas.
Medellin is a boring city once you get over the "Newness" of it all.
