I have a question for you veteran mongers. I need advice. I will be returning to Manila in November. I plan to take a freelancer from Manila that I met recently on a trip for a few days, probably Baguio or Boracay.

Since I will be covering all her expenses, I. E. Transport, food, hotel and a gift or two etc. Should I be expected to pay her normal daily rate? Say her normal rate is 2500p for one night. Since I am buying in bulk and paying expenses is it normal to get a discount or just pay full price? I’m not trying to be cheap, I just want to know the rules. This is a freelancer not a barfine.

No problem getting the bus/ferry ticket same day. I have made the trip several times, and the bus was never near full. Because it's significantly more expensive than local service from Pasay City. Once I brought my own girl, a GF, but sent her back early. There are some fabulous, fresh beauties in the go-go bars.

Hi SB69, I would say that, for her, it would be a nice little break from the grind of daily life in Manila. For that reason she may not expect much recompense, especially if she likes you. Presume you are in contact with her - why not ask, obliquely if you don't feel comfortable with the direct approach. If she indicates that she expects financial gain from the arrangement then I would suggest that P1.5 to 2T a day would be more than generous. GH

Since she is a freelancer and she is making good 'steady money' for the 2-3 days, then offering her 1000 to 1,500 is more than sufficient. Given you will be feeding, housing, and boinking her for those many days, she should be thrilled to even get that.

It's my first time travelling to the Phils.[/QUOTE]On the night of October 31st until the morning or afternoon of Nov 1, expect traffic going out of Manila as a lot of people would be rushing to go to provinces and visit their dead loved ones.

The night of Nov 2 til morning of Nov 3, you can also expect traffic going to Manila. And inside Manila, there could also be traffic near cemeteries due to road closures.
Not to mention the hordes of people in the Batangas port.

So unless it is absolutely necessary, avoid travel during those days. Stay in Sabang if you must!

Does anyone know of any place close to the airport where I can have some fun (massage parlor, strip club)?

I know 4pm is a bit early to find some action, but just wanted to see if anyone can share any knowledge on this.

Thanks for the ancedote Gamahucher. Did you share that information earlier when the hotel was still operational? When did you stay there -- just asking since it seem the hotel is ancient history.

I've never stayed there....although I'm a sucker for a place that has a pool. I got bad vibes when I looked at the place, not to mention viewing a mildewy smelling room.

Regardless of the terms of reconstruction at that site, I would assume things will be better than before. So, looking forward to the new construction.

The answer to your main question is NO, but I don't know your circumstances, goals, intentions, etc. I don't know didldly about the girl. I can't give you an informed answer, sorry.

Last time I asked a guy for a bit of EXTRA information, he blasted me. Maybe just better to follow the Gamahucher advice. Pay her whatever she wants. She'll be happy, that's for sure. No, wait, she'll probably think you're an idiot. Or maybe Ghucher thinks you're an idiot.

I was just posing a question to a simple senario. It wasn't meant to invoke deep thought. As I have never before traveled with a WG I was curious as to what may be expected of me financially.

We have a tentative agreement to travel together minus a payment agreement as of now.

Yes, she has been on an airplane.

And Yes, I fully expect a GFE, if not, why bother.

Air Force One is very close to the airport. No problem with luggage because they will hold it for you if needed.

No problem X. The last time I stayed at the Europhil, Clinton was still in the White House. In fact apart from a couple of short visits (and departing from the airport), I have not been to AC since. Place is too full of bad vibes with far too many scammers, runners and cherry girls for my liking. Keep meaning to make the trip down for a few days, but everytime I decide, I read a negative report here, and shelve my trip. Hope to get there next month so lets have some good, positive reports about the place, lads.

SB: If you're paying her way you need not pay a daily rate (unless she is a hard core just in it for the pera in which case why bother to take her?). At the end, in addition to gifts, I'd give her 1000 or so for each day she spent with you.

Baguio is VERY cold and rainy this time of year, plus its boring. As we are in peak typhoon season, the farther South you go the better (weatherwise). If you can afford $100 a day or so I'd suggest the Pearl Farm in the Samal Gulf near Davao. Or on a lower budget Camiguin Island or Moalboal, Cebu.
