I always call and usually get a better rate, specially if they feel that I am a local.

I visited Panama City last week.

For the ones who are too lazy to read all forum pages:

Hotels: Vegas Suites ($80) or Veneto ($100). No problem to bring guests along.

Bars to meet girls:

Habanos (on the other side of the Marriott Hotel). A must see in town. Good place / terrace to have a drink in the evening, watch and talk to the girls.

Achee (Calle Uruguay). Disco & Bar. I liked it most as you can drink and dance with the girls, but go there after midnight.

Veneto Bar in the Veneto Casino. Interesting concept of gambling and girls looking for clients. The bar area is a little bit small.

I always paid $100 for my adventures, Spanish is necessary.

For the interested, tonight at 10:00 o'clock in Habano's I counted more than 20 unemployed looking for temporary work. More than half of them I would happily have provided employment, the others I am sure could have satisfied somebody else requirements.

As tomorrow is a work day for this old man, I cannot report what happened later on.
