I agree with you guys, 1. Girls lie a lot, everything they say is a lie, 2. 99 % are prepagos, never fall in love or get married in MEdellin you are out of luck. 3. Grils will do anything for money 4. They are very self centered just like any USA teen. 5. They are always looking for stepping stones, just want to move up in contacts or money, 6. They are very ambitious, they can crush you and walk over your dead body for penny.

In fact, it is not much more different than the experience one goes through in trying to do the same with latinas in Sex Prison. Over here its all about looks, money, speaking the PAISA code and either being a JUANES type or a MAFIOSO type. But very little is left in between for normal and average guys. Instead, I would focus attention on the southern part of Colombia. Places like Leticia in the Amazons. Amazing the kind of stuff you get to do there in terms of price/quality cost comparisons go. Some of the coolest cats I've met in my travels have been Italianos and some of the biggest losers have been also.

It's what all the Colombians use. There are also foreign real estate agencies but you won't that type of pricing. Look at the "Medellin Lists" section. It lists some rental agencies.

Some may want to try to hook up with them to get out of the country but wealthy Colombians hate the fact that foreigners come to their soil and treat their young women as sex toys. I don't think Jergen is liar. He was just telling a story on his experience. I just commented on that because I understand. Being an asian make you stand out more from the crowd. They will recognize and notice you easier. This is just fact. However, being an Asian doesn't make us automatic chic magnet. I have talked with MANY girls in the city, from ALL social stratus, I have date them I have fuck then untill we almost pass out and is what I found.

I never try to romance them from the bigging, I act cool but not aggressive, so They feel are kind of safe with me. I made good friend and most of they became honest and clear with me.

VERY FEW ones really are looking for a Foreigner as a model type of a perfect relationship. MOST of them are looking for a SECURE style of life, a better economic status, not worries about paying the bills and the rent etc.

BUT they don't like "gringos" in general. And this is not trying to be an asshole, is just the sucky reality.

They don't think we are sexy or cool or anything like that, OUR accent is NOT sexy for them, is qualified as "Funny" which talks a lot about a bad sexual turn off. They don't like the way we "charm" them or the way we burp in public or the way we absurdly dress they don't even get very often an orgasm with us.

I have talked with girls dating foreigners and they have fun expending money and going out to fancy places, BUT they are NOT in love, but YEs, willing to get married sacrificing their Latino romantic dreams for that comfort.

So I think is OK to have fun also but definitely won't recommend to fall in love either. IF they fall in love you will really know it and that way things may have some good change for the next step. Other wise you will be just ordering a mail bride from over seas.

It's been a while since I've checked out this MDE thread and after reading many of the pages that have been posted since my last visit I felt compelled to add. For those that don't want or need my two cents, please disregard.

A little about my background: I am by no means a MDE expert. I offer my observations as one who has spent a total of about a month in this beautiful city but also one who has spent a total of years in other latin countries. I do not visit latin countries for the sole purpose of mongering but as a man, do I really have to explain the rest? LOL

First, I must agree with guys like Cyberdas. Paisas are IMHO a very proud and conceited bunch. Pride and conceit are not specific to paisas but compared to what other latin cities have to offer, IMHO I think that it is a little undeserved. Please do not get me wrong, MDE is a beautiful city however, the level of pride and conceit that I have encountered among the "normal" MDE chicas is usually found in more cosmopolitan cities/countries where there is more culture and education. It was my observation that even the less-educated "normal" non-pro chicas in MDE thought that "their shit didn't stink. " Now, having said that, I will say that damn can they fuck!

The chicas that are of lower socioeconomic status such as those found in the casas and Mayorista area (some) tend to be much more down-to-earth, fun, and GREAT in bed! I suppose that my bottom line is that young women are the same in many respects in most large, latin (or non-latin) cites. I suppose it's just the fact that MDE attitudes seem less deserved due to the city not offering as much as others and not being as important in the global scheme of things.

IMHO, MDE is top-choice in mongering but close to the bottom in meeting "normal" girls.

Also, I'd like to chip in on the whole "Romance Latina" parties. I've only been to one, in July of last year. From what I've read and seen via photo postings they haven't seemed to change much. I posted my report of the one I attended earlier in this thread. I think that I was pretty detailed in my report but I would like to summarize.

1. The party is poorly organized by amateurs, young and inexperienced.

2. Like most young men, energy is often mistaken for skill.

3. The ratio of paying guests to chicas leaves something to be desired.

4. Yes, there is a smattering of prepago talent. I do believe that one can find something to tickle the fancy but it is NOT a laid-back, pleasant atmosphere. One should go with a mission and seal the deal ASAP and leave with one's selected chica(s).

5. There was NOT a pleasant and jovial atmosphere present. Competition was rampant and I for one did not enjoy myself. I chose going back to Mayorista and securing some poon there.

6. There were many (too many) young, freeloading friends of the host in attendance that severely detracted from the experience.

I suppose to sum it up, I will answer one question: "Would I go to another Romance Latina party? ". YES but, if it is anything like the last one I'd NEVER go again.

They have evolved and learned from their mistakes it seems. They cut the entrance fee in half and made it a cash bar since some people complained of running out of alcohol too early. I don't think they ever intended this to be a prepagado party where you come and vulture one for the night. It is meant more as a meet and greet. You collect their numbers and call them out for another day. If you use it as such, it is a great way to meet new girls. The one thing that MDE lacks are prepagado clubs like in most countries. Even CTG has them. Why not MDE? I guess such parties fill the void. Sure you can try to pick up girls in a regular club, but if you're too bold you run the risk of insulting a regular girl and with most going with the guy friends and novios. It can be a dicey situation.
