Local/Filipino clubs - Paranaque city
I have not come across many reports of picking up girls from local pinoy clubs. In August, I visited a few Filipino clubs in Paranaque city, near Lopez avenue. I was told by the mamasans that none of the Fiilpino clubs offer bar-fines. But you are allowed to exchange phone numbers with GRO's. Ladies drinks are P130 and the GRO will entertain you for 20 minutes. With 100P tips, you can touch the girl anywhere. I was able to do a girl for 500P couch upstairs. This is a cheaper choice compared to clubs at Burgos. I took the phone number of one of the GRO and do the girl during the daytime. The girl then becomes my girl friend. I think this is easier than searching in cherry blossoms or DIA site.
I also visited a few go-go bar type of local clubs, but the ladies drink are pretty steep - PHP390 per hour. usually, there will a few ugly girls dancing naked....not a pretty sight!
Cande Laria
Makati has always been my choice...
I am planning a stopover in Manila for about one week and this will be my very first time in the city. My only other experience of the Phillipines is Cebu where I have been a few times before.
I would appreciate some advice from fellow mongers who are experienced visitors to Manila. I want to stay somewhere central that is within walking distance to all the action (if that is possible) and quite safe to walk around at night (as much as it can be in any city around the world). I was hoping there might be a PP equivalent of somewhere like Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok?
Also how much should I expect to pay for a taxi from the airport to the hotel?
I know it can be annoying when people ask for advice when they are too lazy to RTFF but I have spent the last couple of hours reading through the posts and feel a bit confused and none the wiser!
I wont be there until late November, but I will promise to leave some posts about my experiences in return for your help
These hotels are only a 5 minute taxi ride from P. Burgos street (location of about 20 bars packed full of beautiful women). I have actually walked to P. Burgos from Peninsula Hotel on a few occasions (maybe 1.5 miles?).
Peninsula Hotel (4-5 star)
Intercontinental (3 star)
Dusit (3 star)
Shangri La (4-5 star)
Hotels on P. Burgos St:
These hotels are right in the middle of the action. Simply walk down the street in either direction and within 30 seconds you will be in front of a bar full of women. If you don't like the selection in the bar, move to the bar right next door, etc.
Makati Palace (2-3 star)
City Garden (2-3 star)
Happy Mongering!
