Actually there are no gaurantees that price correlates with 'quality'. Patience can yield quality just as well as throwing money around, and the careless monger can spend a great deal for quite poor quality.

As for the point in question - Brian is right that you should avoid Bangkok and stick to Pattaya. Not only is it cheaper but it is far more pleasant. In Pattaya a reasonable cost for a somewhat substandard guesthouse type room is 350-400 baht, while a quite nice room is 700-800.

I do not recommend long-time as the girls are tiresome after a couple of hours (who isn't, regardless of gender?). A short time will cost about 300-500 on the beach, with an extra 100-200 for short time room. I don't really recommend bringing girls back to one's own room. Short time on Soi Six will run about the same 700 baht, though sometimes one has to tip a bit for anal or bareback. For two per day figure 1,500 with odds and ends such as drinks. Food should be the cheapest - simply eat in small Thai restaurants, carefully avoiding any restaurants that contain farangs as they will be far worse than those patronized by locals, as well as much more likely to make you ill. Lastly, always rent a motorbike as there's nothing fun about trudging around.

Daily Budget:

Room - 700
Sex - 1,500
Food - 200
Bike - 100
Total - 2,500

So for 14 days, 35,000 baht. Add 1,000 on each end for transit, and just in case unexpecteds, and you get 37,000 baht. I think that is about 550 British pounds. So with your 800 baht budget you could drink a lot more, get a better bike, have more short times, or more threesomes.

Apologies, should have been more clearer. Will be staying in Bangkok for 6 nights and pattaya for 6 nights and then back to bkk for 1 night before flying home. Accomodation will be booked and paid for in advance so that will be coming out of my spending budget! will probably be looking to do one short time or massage parlour during the day and a long time in the evening as well as other touristy things and a bit of shopping. I also one try out 2 women long time once in bkk and once in pattaya. From your responses i guess £800 is not going to be enough. Any suggestions?? also i will be travelling in the last week of august and first week of september, whats the mongering scene like during august/september? is there still lots of women?

In my opinion, £1600 will be more than enough for one short time/massage during the day, a LT during the evening and plenty left over for food/travel/incidental expenses, everyday for your entire trip. This assumes your tastes do not require absolute DDG model quality girls every night and your regular drink doesn't include large quantities of Old #7 Black Label or Don Julio Tequila Anejo.

Expect the asking price for LT to range from £31 for moderately attractive to £62 for model quality. What you actually pay will depend on your chemistry and your negotiating skills.

To add to that, I would comment that sex two/three times a day for 12 days straight can be pretty strenuous unless you have the lebido of a teenager or use some sort of "recreational pharmaceutical". You will probably have a day or two in there that you just want to rest alone and "recharge".

My friend and I brought two back and we did them in the same bed back at the Hotel because the Eden girls tend to be very cool with the whole process and we all enjoyed watching each other. na this is bull-shit. I routinely rent the small Honda Waves 110 cc motorbikes when I want to get around. Just don't be stupid and drive while impaired and remember that they drive on the wrong side of the road in Thailand.

We've been going non stop for the most part had some reasonable success at BG, Aviva MP, & NEP in that order. Prices seem to be up whereas quality & quantity seem to be down, or maybe I' gotten jaded or have been very lucky on previoous visits. Rainbow has some nice looking action but at 2k st, 4k lt makes for a pricey shot which we haven't taken yet. Midday BG visit had limited appealing choices imho, 1500st. The few NEP gals we talked w/were 1500st & not many great lookers, hope Sunday may have been an off day @NEP & BG. Still would like to peruse Cowboy so if anyone has suggestions on that front we could skytrain over for an evening rendezvous. Also if anyone thinks the hostess bars are happening for farang that might be interesting. A semi early 8ish NEP session prior to Cowboy could also be fun. May try an afternoon MP vistit at Thonglor or Angel over by emporium.
