Dear Seniors,

Me & my friend were planning for a week long trip to BKK / Pattaya, but he dropped himself out due to personal reasons. Now I don't want to lose this plan so planning to continue alone.

I just want to know, for a First time Solo traveler how safe is BKK / Pattaya in terms of Mongering, Transportation, sight seeing & other fun activities. Since it's my first time I'm kind of in dilemma whether to go alone or not.

I read various threads in forum & saw in few reports people with not much experience get cheated or get bad service in other words.

I'm sure the experienced seniors over here will definitely be able to help me out. I'd appreciate if you can mention something specific to keep in mind. TIA.

Crazy House line up was quite good Wednesday. Today Saturday it seemed to have dropped off.

My favourites Paeng, Ging, Oom were missing. Noi arrived late as I left at 9. 30 PM. Naen was BFed early. Nan & Jane missing. Some girls I know were present but I am not interested in them any longer: Bpoom, Naam, May, Bo, Kafee / Krataen, Mon.

No. 112 was slightly interesting, closest to my spec. Only bought 2 drinks over about 90 minutes but nothing stunning arrived. Generally dull evening. My favourites at an Asoke portable cart bar were missing also.

The sale of Midnight, a great bar I was usually in 3 to 4 nights a week, in '04 I think, marked the beginning of the end of Cowboy as a great place to hang out IMHO. Before his purchase all drinks were 100 baht, BF was 500 but included the ST room upstairs, and gals were happy with 1k. Once he bought the bar prices increased up and down the soi for drinks, BF, and gals. Up until then BF at Long Gun was 400 baht. And it truly was a hangout for expats. Now really a neon tourist attraction.

I went in with friends who hadn't been there before and I had little to no intention of barfining a girl anyway. But the trend with the girls who approached my group trended toward the worst Crazy House girl tactic of coming off the stage, hitting a guy up for a Lady Drink, then the moment the drink arrives and a single sip has been taken to apologize because "I have to go dance now", but never returning to the stage and more or less disappearing into the abyss.

I have no problem buying Lady Drinks for Crazy House girls I have already taken and enjoyed once already, will buy one as I did last night for a girl new to me when I am really only interested in observing their behavior up close and not necessarily in barfining them. But my absolute best experiences with Crazy House girls with regard to barfining them out and getting treated well in the room is when I don't buy a Lady Drink at all (or perhaps one after a barfine deal has already been struck and settled), cover the key interview questions the moment they approach me for the customary naked brush against me at my seat and, assuming they pass the key interview question or two, tell them I want to pay the barfine now and let's go. This is the first time I have said this since Kasalong Bar opened, but I do believe slimmer, cuter and sexier girls can be found at Som's Haven now than in either Kasalong or L0 lita's.

If buying them a tequila, it normally is consumed very quickly. Ladies are 20 minutes on stage and 20 minutes off. Normally ladies return to me. Its not guaranteed though especially if they already have some other regular customer. Naen did not come to me last night due to having a customer about to BF her. She left soon after. Ladies get about 50 Baht from each drink sold. So a 100 Baht tip is like buying them two drinks, but costs you significantly less (100 instead of 320). However I recognise that the bar has to make money too.

I visited Sunday, Tues, Wed, and Sat with only the Wed line up having major interest with some exciting new girls. So CH is in a bit of a slump right now. Some of best girls are not showing up or showing up very late at 9. 30 PM. I guess plenty of hot bodies at 9. 30 PM, but I have to like the face as well. Special show dancer Ning was very skinny but very beautiful and sexy. I would go just to watch her show sometimes.

At clubs like Sapphire in Pattaya they rotate 5 groups of 20 girls for stage so if you buy a drink the girl does not leave you for quite some time. I may end up buying the same amount of drinks but it is frustrating at clubs where the girl continuously leaves you to go on stage.

No, there is no need to continuously buy drinks. One drink per girl per 20 minutes off the stage is okay Sometimes more drinks if generous, depending if the girl is really worth it. Sometimes losing the girl for 20 minutes after that is a blessing. LOL. If I cannot stand the thought that girl will leave me, and some other guy may call her, the simple remedy is to BF her. Then she does not need to go away to dance any longer. With a girl like Ging Gaew (#40), it is too risky to allow her to go dance with her big luscious tits bouncing and mesmerising other guys who will suddenly be desperate to grab and fondle them. So your report is mystifying. There no such conspiracy. Individual girls could behave strangely of course.

I am in there regularly. I see what girls are doing with customers. I don't see what you describe and it makes little sense. What is so special about you that would make you be discrimated against systematically like this.

I know a few other expats who are very familiar with that kind of Lady Drink hustle and vanish routine in Crazy House, see it happening to other customers and have it happen to them on occasion as it did with me on Saturday. LOL. No, there isn't anything "special" about me that made it happen "only" to me and other guys around me. And nobody said anything about it being a conspiracy. It is simply one of the most commonly pulled hustles in any bar, no conspiracy required; the girl gets one dude to buy her a Lady Drink, pockets the commission ticket, excuses herself for whatever reason, "have to go dance now" being a convenient one in bars where there is more than one dance area so they can use the second location as an excuse if it comes up later (even though they never stepped on the other stage) and then moves to another part of the bar to get another dude to buy her a Lady Drink. Girls at Crazy House do it just as often and perhaps more so than in any other bar.

I suppose now you're going to tell me you have never heard or seen something like that happening anywhere else either, right? And that of all places, no such thing could ever occur more than once a year or two at Crazy House. And then only under very "special" and understandable circumstances like the customer must have been a very bad man or something like that, right? LOL.

The only thing "special" about what was happening on this Saturday night was none of these girls was pretending to be too drunk to realize what they were doing (a popular tactic for this kind of hustle but usually needs to be later in evening) and it didn't seem these 3-4 girls moved to another part of the ground level bar area to find the second sucker. They were not seen sitting around this or that side of the stage with another customer, I mean. But there are dark sides of the bar near the big speakers in the back where they check in so it was entirely possible that is where they went to get the second or third Lady Drink buyer. It is also entirely possible that one or more of those particular girls spotted a regular customer across the room, signaled to each other and the girl went upstairs to change into their street clothes to leave the bar.

I was sitting in the front right corner (as you walk in) booth seating area, not on a stool on the other side. And, no, neither I nor anyone else I saw this happening to around me got up to go searching for the girls. We just looked around where it was easy to see from our vantage point and did not see them. But the larger point was we could all see the stage very well and didn't see those "have to go dance now" girls dancing either. btw, I have watched girls in Crazy House and other bars step off the stage at the end of a dance session, sit with a customer for the 4-5 minutes it takes to get a Lady Drink agreed to, delivered and the commission ticket pocketed and then almost immediately excuse themselves to walk over to ME as the second Lady Drink target! lol

It must be indeed rare for any guy to have a succession of different girls visit him. I have seen a guy entertained by one girl, seemingly get bored by her and then focus on another, but never saw a guy switching girls a lot. Has happened I have seen the reverse.

One girl Chocolate requested a drink from a guy, got it and quickly moved to another guy. I guess she scammed three or more guys in succession. I refused her. That was a long time ago I saw such behavior. Never saw too many girls do that and certainly not a string of them do it to the sane guy. It is very uncommon in my my view. I only ever saw 1 or two girls with that behavior. Chocolate and maybe Kratae.

Anyway guys normally refuse to buy drinks for girls unless the guy called the girl over. Normally girls will stay with a guy to get further drinks unless they have another customer or target.

I ignore girls coming to me unless I called them to come. Occasionally happens girl tells me she has another customer or has to go to the toilet. Happens but rare.

Its just occured to me what could have happened. If you call a girl iff the stage before her dance set is finished, she may order a drink and then return to the stage to finish her dance set, before returning to the customer. However you clearly wrote that this did not happen.

I have had a girl too shy to return to me after her 20 min set when she saw I had another girl now with me.

Also could happen a girl did not like me due to me being too old or black eyes. Again rare. Girls could run away from bad underarm BO I suppose or very bad breath or pussy gropers.
