Good for you! I read some of your previous posts and seems like you are very frugal. The issue of money or lack thereof seems like the main theme of many of your posts. I really like to see some pictures of the girls you paid basement prices for. I’m just curious as to how they look. The price issues on the P4P scene have been debated on this forum ad nauseam. I know the going rate at LA Café: 1000-1500 ST / 1500-2000LT (+/- 500). I definitely use this unofficial rate chart for reference and stick to it for most part. However, some girls can demand and get more than the going rate. It's an open market and the girls who are young (18-21) and whose looks are superior that of her competitors can get more money if they are savvy to what the market will bear, and on the flip side, mongers on a budget can get pussy on baseline prices.

I don't go to places like LA Cafe with the thought that I will try to spend as little money as possible for pussy. I’m sure I can do this, but my thoughts are more in line with hooking up with a pleasant, pretty, young girl with a nice attitude and compensate her based on the going rate and level of her service. Having said this, I will not give your average girl at LA Café 2500ST, but rather the standard prices of 1000-1500. I don’t want to overpay but at the same time I don’t want to lowball these girls either. Then, there are exceptions where the girl is extraordinary, and I won’t lose any sleep paying a little above the normal rate.

Following up, where did you find your love for the night downstairs or upstairs and if so what side of the upstairs? I have been around the freelance scene in multiple countries, and I am pretty sure that 1000 long time is possible at LA Cafe probably only with some of the women downstairs and not likely for most of the women that pay to go upstairs, unless for some reason it's real late and they are desperate. I know people say it's this and this price there, I kind of agree with Pwap007 on the going rates he mentioned below. I don't usually find much downstairs that I want and try to hook up with more of the women that go upstairs which can be a challenge with some of the hotter ones being more Japanese and Korean oriented.

I agree with you and Key Master, while you can get some girls for 1000p ST, they are lower tier and not like Maricar from your pic. She can easily get 2500p. I guess everybody has different taste and your floor could be somebody's ceiling as far as looks are concerned. :)

I guess it all depends on the person. There are lots of women who will go for 1000 or somewhere around there for ST, but the long time is another issue. In regards to Maricar, I wouldn't pay 2500 ST for her, but that's me. I think that's too much myself but that is relative to LA Cafe. Everybody is going to have a different take. My main reason for posting about this originally is that I don't think the going rate for long time is 1000 pesos in LA Cafe. I'm not saying it's not there because I'm sure it is with a lot of what's available downstairs at night. It might even be possible with some of the women who frequent upstairs that probably shouldn't be paying the extra 100-150 pesos a night to do so. It's just that I believe it's more on a case by case basis and time related.

Recent reports state about cheapness of local bars particularly in Paranaque. I'm assuming that these are the bars that are actually in Baclaran, close to domestic airport and Roxas boulevard. They include Ms World, Ms Saigon and whole host of others.

They are what my filipina described as being "puk puk bars. Yuo get the meaning I'm sure.

Every now and again driving thru there I see the odd random white guy (usually looks like a Vietnam war relic. Old and aged and bearded). And think these guys stay at the hotel near the corner of Roxas blvd. Clarion or some such name. The bars. Well they are cheap and nasty. Plastic chairs and girls doing a 3 dance show. They are available. But you need to know these are well used girls and you get what you pay for. Recommended to go with a guide (Filipino) as the area isn't the vest area at night. Take a car too as not much transport there. And whatever you do, don't stare at the locals. You are seriously on their turf in this area and they monger there all the time. Your just an interested tourist. Expect to be ripped off for drinks. And have a good time.

Street address: 1429 MH Del Pilar St. Ermita. Corner MH Del Pilar St. and R. Salas St. Phone: 02 526 7592. Easiest way for taxi, is going up the one way Mabini St. to R. Salas, turn left, go one block to MH Del Pilar.

All taxis, jeepneys, know where Robinson's Ermita is, and LA Cafe is about 3 blocks from there. Street names (except famous ones) don't mean much to the Filipinos.

Light Rail Transit. Take the train to Pedro Gil station then walk down P Gil 500 yards passing Robinsons Mall on the right and crossing Adriatico and Mabini. The intersection after Mabini is Del Pilar. Turn right, cross the road and you will see LA Cafe about 200 yards down on the left. Have fun.

I'll be there for the 1st time Monday night so I don't have too many other details. Hopefully a successful TR to follow. ;)

I think we have a cheap charlie on our hands...

I've done the LRT (and the MRT) a couple of times. Don't use it during rush hour; it is that crowded. I had no pickpocket problems, but I can see that one has be quite watchful of this. Much better to use taxis as most anything worth getting to is going to be some distance away from the LRT.

Its been a few years but there used to be about 30 "local" bars on airport road. No barfines, but you should be able to set something up for later or the next day.

Does Ruds Bar (on Roxas, near Airport Rd) still exist? Does anyone know?

The bars are located at Lopez, Paranaque along Sucat Road toward the airport. It is just behind, Jollibee, Lopez avenue. There are about 10 bars there, but they look pretty run down, as these are patronized by locals. If you take a cab, tell him you want to get off, at Jollibee Lopez. Walk behind there are many clubs there. Also, if you walk along Sucat Road, (east bound, 2 minutes after Jollibee), you will find 3 local go-go bars. HOWever, no barfines. The go-go bars have naked shows.
