Arrived in Buga about an hour drive from Cali. Nice tourist town seems relatively prosperous. Lots of hotels and hostels as this is an important religious site with a large basilica for pilgrims to vist. Lots of tiendas offering merchandise to the visitors and many Bars, Resturants, and Discotecas. Seems the Pilgrims like to party here as well!

My take is that if you have some Spanish skills, you may find some company here from the locals or other tourists, or better yet, bring your date from Cali here, they will love it and the hotels are a bargain! As I was having a business diner, I did not have the chance to try myself, but it seems feasable.

Business in Buga area all day. Hotel let me chack out late at 3:30pm so I had a chance to come back to town and shower before driving back to Cali.

Nice drive back to Cali, lots of agriculture and Sugar Cane plantations along the way. Good roads.

Arrived in Cali about 16:30. Tried to check into the Hotel Cali Plaza that I had checked out the day before, but they were full! Quoted rate of $124,000COP including breakfast and parking.

I asked the desk clerk to recommend other hotels in the area with parking included and she did recommend 3 places and called them to inquire about open rooms (she was most helpful) thanked her and walked around the area looking for other hotels (there are many) in the Avenida Sexta area. I found one that looked fairly new, modern and clean the Hotel Six Avenue. Asked the desk clerk about availabillity and rates. He quoted $93,000cop including breakfast and parking. I asked to see the room and it was great. Modern wi large hot water shower, Smart flatscreen TV, AC, and a spacios room. Plus they are in the heart of the clubs and other action on Sexta. Took the room and walked around to check out the sites for later exploration.

Checked in around 6:30, got settled and changed to go out. Called the chica I had at Clinica Amor yesterday for a repeat after hours meet, but no answer from her (typical Chica). She had said that she gets off at 7pm and would be available for a TLN. Next off to the Viejo Barril bar, across from the Hotel Cali Plaza, had a couple of beers and watched the futbol. Slow night here but it was early and it seems more of a family / couples place anyway. About 8:30 started trolling on Sexta stopped in at a couple of Discothecas. Kind of spotty that early on a Wednesday night, but picked out my targets for later.

Thought about a Casa visit, but decided to try my luck on the Discoteca scene. About 10:00, stopped by at the Tropicale Resturant / Discoteca / Hotel about in the middle of the strip. Not too much happening but got to talking to the doorman / tout and he of coursed asked if I was interested in a Chica, who isn't?

After he makes a couple of calls, an attractive chica named Dayana stops by. We chat and she seems muy amable, so I ask if she is available for TLN. She explains that she lives with her mom and has to be home before mom wakes up in the morning. So, off we go to another Disco that she likes (Douglas) on Sexta, just a few steps away. We order a bottle of ron and dance and enjoy the music for an hour or so, I get some dancing lessons (much needed here in Colombia) and basically have a good time. Then the detailed negociations start.

She wants $400,000 for near to TLN.

I told her I don't even pay that in Medellin for a week! After telling her that time with such a beauty is priceless anyway.

We agree on $150,000cop and she gets home before mom wakes up!

We arrive at the hotel, and of course, there is a charge for guests. $50,000cop. I pay it, no problem and this hotel is so nice it is worth it. We go up to the roftop pool near to midnight and enjoy the views of the city, then down to my room and a really great GFE session. She gets home in a taxi (she pays) before mom is awake.

Contact info and FB names are exchanged. She will be worth a repeat next time I'm in Cali.

Late start. Check out of the hotel about noon. Flight to MDE not until 21:45 tonight. Hit Juan Valdez for coffee and internet time. Make some calls and make my way to Chipichape Mall. Nice mall here in the middle of Cali. Lots of locals around and its a good place to meet Chicas if you arrive after work and before dinner as its a popular spot with resturants And bars, cinemas etc.

Called last nights Chica, we'll see if a love hotel visit is in the cards before I fly back to MDE. Told her this time, no pay for play except taxi and dinner!

I was considering a side trip to Cali and thought I'd break up the trip by staying in Pereira. Any action in town; if so, where?

Does anybody can tell me is the heat in Cali is bearable? Some years ago I went to Santa Marta, Valledupar and Barranquilla and their climate were unbearable and I run away.

Can you tell me if Cali is cheaper than Medellin for mongering and for living?

Cali will generally be a bit hotter than MDE but not as hot as Barranquilla or Cartagena. Having said that, I haven't been there in July, when I imagine it's really hot.

For mongering, I don't think Cali is any cheaper than MDE. For general living expenses, it might be a bit less.

Also, if like all the fake tits and asses in MDE, you'll absolutely love Cali.

I'll be in Cali March 13 to March 23. I usually stay at the del Rio apart Hotel right on the 'river' close to Dr Amour. I start my day off there with an hour session when they open. As I am 70, I limp back to hotel and rest and answer student e-mail. I teach at a university. I then cross the bridge and walk to club Sonoro around the corner from Clubs Veinte 1 and 2. I drink water and buy a few drinks for the girls and talk them up for about an hour and then do an hour session. Then I cross the street and and have chicken for lunch, sometimes with a girl. Then I take a taxi to park Queido (sp) and hang out there with some of the girls I've gotten to know over the years. I usually take one of them to a handy hotel there and get a massage and CBJ for about an hour. We then walk back to the park and I take a taxi back to the hotel and crash. At 8:00pm I rise from the dead and either walk to Eventos Liz (if they are having a show) or take a taxi to Club La Veinte where I have dinner at the little 'restaurant' next to #2 and then cross the street to #1 and sit down and enjoy the view. I chat up the girls, drink Smirnof and wait till I see something I like. Ah, they maka me feel so young again. I do 1 or 2 sloooooo sessions. Then I take a taxi and go home.

This'll be my 5th trip to Cali and my 20th trip to Colombia. Been mongering since 75 in 20+ countries, now I stick with western time zones. My favorites used to be Batam, K-11 in Cambodia, Villa Mimosa in Rio, Phillipines, Ti-land but now I stick with northern So Am including Manaus, Brasil and a little central Am. Lotsa stories. I enjoy hearing other monger's stories. As the name implies, I don't go for the expensive show girls.

I'll be in Cali from March 30 to April 7. Your game plan is very similar to mine. Hit Bar La20, Club San Sonero, go along Carrera 8 and also Plaza Caycedo. Maybe not in that order. Looking forward to seeing Gloria, Lorena, Carmensa and all the other chicas along the route. I love the food in Colombia, from the rice and beans, to the chicken, beef, pork and fish. Tilapia, langostino, paella are some of my favorite dishes. The low end places are a kick. Being the only gringo in Bar La20 and soaking in all the action with the big tit and big butt girls walking around its heaven. Have fun and warm up the action for when I get there.

Gets up into the 80s by late morning into the afternoon, but by 4 or 5 pm the breezes start up and its very comfortable at night. Shortsleeve weather all the time. In a temperate time zone along the Equator, same temps all year round.

Yes veinte is open on Sundays. But there are less chicas. I don't remember about sonero.
