I have read that a lot of you avoid agencies. Is it because they are too expensive or that they are a sham, not good service, unreal photos.

Price is high compared to rosszlanyok but you have the option to email or talk to an English operator. Can there be bait and switch or bad service, sure that's possible and that's all trial and error.

I noticed 2 ads in the list of those 3 agencies that I know are real. One I have met in person, another is an independent with her own site. The only time you can really be sure it's a scam is when they ask for down payment before meeting. Also the chance that others have met the same provider is low (unless she is well reported). Better to ask if people had experience with the agency in question and if they are trustworthy.

I really need to say something about girls who flake. It is really annoying & unacceptable. Recently it happened 3 times, one time to me (yesterday) & two times to guys I was helping (to one of the guys I was helping 2 days ago & to other about 10 days ago). I was in Budapest for a few days a couple of years ago and checked out the scene thoroughly while there. There are lots of possibilities and at reasonable value if you put in the leg work but there are plenty of clip joints and overpriced venues catering for stag partied and the like.

First night I went to Vaci Ulta and had a walk around to check my bearings. This is a pedestrian street in the city center and there are a few options in the vicinity. Travel is easy around the city on the metro and very cheap. I felt safe enough most of the time but after midnight its a bit more risky. On the approach to Vaci ulta I was approached by two girls asking if I had a city map they could look at. As one looked at it the other engaged me in conversation. She was easily an 8 so I was happy to go along with their charade. They told me they were country girls in the city for the first time. They were going to a conference the next day on needlework and hand crafts. They were looking for a pub they had heard about to get a drink. Unfortunately they could not find it on the map but then inquired about me and if I would like to join them in any pub near by for a drink. That was my limit as I knew their game and made my excuses and left. When they get you to the pub they order drinks and then shock horror they are closing and the price list has been switched. They can't take credit cards so a big burly bouncer escorts you to the ATM so you can get the cash (usually €1000) That was the first of at least 100 such scam approaches I would receive during my short visit. A couple of days later I saw two girls leading an unsuspecting man towards their bar and tried to warn him but was told by him to mind my own business, I'd have paid money to see his face as he was dragged to the ATM, you just can't help some people but be warned folks!

Further down Vaci Ulta a girl approached me and brought me to a Thai Massage upstairs over a shop, FS was on offer for €70 but the only girl offering that service was a 3 at best so I passed.

I found Asia Massage on Parizsi Street and decided to give it a try. I was brought upstairs to a sort of mezzanine loft and it was very open plan with only curtains separating the cubicles which is usually a bad sign. The Chinese girl did a proper massage then when time was nearly up she whispered in my ear about extras, I inquired how much and we started to negotiate, I only has €20 left in my wallet and showed her, she eventually agreed and did a nice he. When I went to pay her the money was gone from my wallet, we searched and searched but it was nowhere to be seen, eventually after a chat with the mamasan they agreed to let me off. So strange, to this day I still haven't worked out what happened.

I decided to give the Hostess bars a miss, they had all the hallmarks of clip joints, one doorman tried very hard and promised me it was not a scam and led me along a couple of side streets to his bar. I went in and had one cheep beer to drink but just wasn't happy it was on the level and left.

I had read somewhere of SW in an underground train station / shopping mall and went along for a look. There were a good few SW's hanging around trying to catch your eye but none of them were good looking, either junkies or of Romany extraction which isn't my thing. They were quoting cheap prices but it all seemed too risky.

I had read of a few massage houses where FS was on offer. I visited two, they were both upstairs apartments on old residential streets. You had to get buzzed in and then it was a long climb up the stairs. Each had very nice girls and very clean premises but it was too expensive for me €200 so I gave it a miss. On the way down stairs I became worried I was going to be jumped and I was scared stiff but it was just another customer on their way up.

The highlight of the trip was my visit to Massage and More, on Vaci Ulta, I had seen the sign and decided to inquire on my last day. It was located down an arcade to a courtyard, then down stairs. The place was plush and they had a menu of erotic massages. The receptionist spoke good English and explained the different offerings in frank detail without a hint of embarrassment. I chose the basic one for €55 which included a he. I chose my masseuse from a parade and she was easily an 8 but the rest were also nice too. She was petite with a slim body and dark short hair. The room was amazing, very clean, theme decoration and no shortage of clean towels. The service was excellent (which is often not the case with the good looking ones) and I left satisfied and would dispense with all the hunting on my next visit and go straight there but looking on the internet now it seems to have closed, no doubt there is somewhere similar nearby to replace it.
