Maybe for a local Singaporean, but us westerners are charged double that with no possibility for negotiation. I've always hated that double standard where there was one price for the locals and a different one for others. At least Melawai charges everyone the same price. I believe that when someone does a trip report and it's one of their first posts or something, that it is almost automatic that the recommendation for someone to give it a link to "Reports of Distinction".
