Where? It all goes into a hole at the location of the resident's septic tanks which are empty regularly in town which is normally at night while you are out or sleeping. When it rains hard flooding outside on the Soi those tanks fill up thus the smell coming back up.

So Chiang Mai was a bust. Limited options of FLs, some bars concentrated in the east and south east part of the city, Loi Kroh being at the centre.
