1Ball,
LOL, Pretty fun way to become a hero :) Glad you like my posts, I have fun keeping my diary.
Yeah, I'm a Lakers fan. Been watching them since I was old enough to sit on my grandfather's knee (at least that's what my parent's tell me). It's finally looking like a good season to be a fan :) I'm just hoping Kobe's shoulder stays healthy.
1 April -- afternoon
I finally found something my little bundle of Joy wouldn't do :( We found ourselves all the way at the eastern end of Rawai beach (at least I think that's the beach's name) where there are big rocks and no one around. Apparently, this is where the locals go to [CodeWord140] and shit, and the smell was not too pleasant, but there was a spot that had pretty good cover, and I tried to get her to give me some head. She wouldn't do it, but I'm not quite sure if it was the smell or the openness, but I think it was just the smell because we've boinked in the ocean twice already and that elicited giggles.
Anyone know a beach, here or in Krabi where I could get some alone time to live out a fuck on the beach (in daylight) fantasy?
Also, while we were motoring along on the little moped I rented, I was thinking, I wish she had a dress. I could put her in front of me and teach her to drive a stick :) Anyone ever try something like this?
Go up to Naiharn Beach -- very crowded but off to the right below the huge resort is an outcropping of rocks. You can scramble over the rocks and have a private area -- your own private little beach depending on the tide.
Also when in phuket don't miss a chance at visiting Surin beach. This has the hardest waves and is perhaps the least popular of beaches. I always thought of this as the 'thai beach'. Every time I went there I found more thais than falangs enjoying the water. Imagine that thais out at a beach. Go towards the north end for some privacy.
Bring Joy into Phuket Town for dinner, drinks, and dancing at Kor Tor Mor. Enjoy Phuket PnG it is changing too quickly....
Thanks for the info Naiharn. Unfortunately, I probably wont' get a chance to use it this trip now :( Just booked trips to Pi Pi and James Bond Island for the next two days before I head to Krabi.
I hear you about Phuket changing too fast. It's noticeably more Bangkokized since I was here just a year ago. There seem to be many more pushy tuk tuk drivers and hawkers. It's amazing how many 'friends' I have when I walk down the street: "Hello, my friend! Come look at my shitty shit that I want to sell to you for too many baht!"
Still, it is beautiful here, so I can't complain :) I have some amazing photos (the kind I can show my family) and the water is soooo warm and clear.
PNG,
PhiPhi and JamesBond Island: Never mind the crowds, these places are still beautiful.
There are some deserted beaches on the NE of Phuket island, beyond the GibbonRehabilitationCentre, and even near SarasinBridge. But please do remember that public nudity in Thailand is a big NO-NO! So you will have to fuck your Bundle of Joy with your clothes on:(...
Around Krabi: forget about empty beaches. Perhaps a privat boattour to one of the islands is an idea. You will just have to find a way to stop the nosey boatdriver from following you on the island... Boatprices, see pic
PNG and 1ball,
I'll be in Phuket right at playoff time, May 6th to ? for diving, mongering etc. Do either of you (or you too Freeler) know of a sports bar on the island to watch the games ?
Rest in peace Chick.
Freeler,
Thanks for the continued good info on this area. I've been lurking and learning. It's been 3 years since I was in Phuket and never been to Krabi. This trip for sure. Will you be in town ?
FD
Firedick,
"I've been lurking..."
You don't do yourself justice, being the longtime PI poster you are!
Many, almost all, bars in Patong have satellite tv and most, if not all, prefer to show sports of some sort, mainly via ESPN.
I'm just presuming that 'playoff' has something to do with sports, right? Shouldn't you be off playing yourself...?).
There are one or two expat oriented places in Phuktet with satellite as well, but Patong is your best bet.
Freeler,
Thanks for the info and kind words.
As to what I should be doing around playoff time, I just don't have the stamina that I used to. Twice a day is plenty for me so that leaves a lot of recovery time. Perfect for a cold Amarit and a basketball game, hopefully with one of Skinlesses rejects on my arm. BB1 ?
I posted on the "Travel Plans" board, if anyone is interested in beers and lies.
FD
Firedick,
I've yet to find a place that played a basketball game. Of course, given thte time difference, most basketball games are taking place around 8-10AM, so the bars aren't open. Plenty of Soccer though.
Want a Skinless reject? Dude, stay away from the Karon beach bars. I'm staying in a hotel room over here, and there's nothing but old and ugly as far as the eye can see (not very far given the closeness of the buildings). I've taken to wearing sunglasses at night if I have to walk through the area. The reverend must think he's in heaven when he visits this place :)
There's a place here called Blue Moon Massage. I stopped in last night while my bundle of Joy was shooting mummies (I let her play only after she's gotten me off at least 4 times). There's a small fishbowl that quickly filled with about 5 or 6 girls. You're really close to the fish bowl and the girls are really close to the glass. They all seemed very eager, which is a good thing, but they also all seemed like candidates for the reverend's wet dreams. Not sure how much it costs because I hightailed it back to my room for a little bit of Joy.
Sknless,
I thought the young pretty ones were the rejects?
03 April
I keep expecting to get bored with Joy (usually happens with any girl after a week) but she keeps showing me new tricks--kinda like scheherazade.
Though the open ocean fucking has gotten stale, today she gave me a fantastic blow job in the back of the minibus after the rest of the passengers had gotten out. I thought she was just stretching out to nap or something, but once her head was in my lap, she got to work and got me to pop in the short span of driving time from Patong to Karon. I resisted the temptation to clean myself with the 20 baht I was gonna use to tip the driver :)
Free - "playoff" is 'Murcan for "sports elimination tournament" (usually professional sport)
The winner advances and the loser goes off somewhere to play with themselves until next year ;-)
not mongering info, but i figure it might be useful to some of you:
took two trips over the past few days. one to james bond island (with canoeing by a guide included) and one to phi phi island (including the bay where they filmed the beach). both trips were great.
the bond island trip was kind of a leisurely sightseeing trip with lots of picture opportunities but not much unstructured time. there were only about 15 people on board a double decker boat, so there was space for everyone. the canoeing was great because someone else did the paddling and pointed out wild life and terrain features (including a stone shark).
the phi phi trip was spectacular for the scenery and provided some good snorkeling. unfortunately, the trip was made with about 30 people packed onto a speedboat and i felt rushed until the last stop of the day. the beach used for the beach was only alloted about 20 minutes. the boat barely slowed at some locations that would have been great photo ops. got to see some neat tropical fish, and my bundle of joy found she likes this activity better than video games. hopefully that will get her further along the road to getting dive certified. anyway, the last trip of the day was about 2 hours of unstructured time on a beach, but, again, it was just too crowded for my tastes.
both trips are worth taking, but, if you can only do one, i recommend the james bond island canoe trip for it's leisurely pace.
the price for these trips, as listed on the flyers, would have been 2200bt/person/trip for a total of 8800bt. as with everything in this land of begging smiles the price is negotiable. now, i know that freeler would have had them paying him to allow them to take him on the trip, but i'm pretty happy with having paid a total of 4600bt. point is, negotiate for everything :)
PurpleNGold,
As long as you know that I'm watching you...:D!
You paid for and got the premium. Cool.
There are however trips on a 'normal' boat to do the PhiPhi tour, with a transfer to another boat either on PhiPhiDon, the main island, or PhiPhiLay, the small one. These trips are way cheaper and perhaps they are not offered in Patong...
You got to see the The Beach beach, which is something of a rarity - most captains decide the waves are too high and say sorry 'we no go today - tomorrow waves ok'.
The JB tour is just sooo wonderful...
BTW, while you're spending: Have you considered taking a junk trip in the AndamanSea - see pic?
Freeler,
It'd be fun to sail around on that thing. Is it just a sailing trip around the bay for photo ops? Or do they stop for other activities?
On to the report, the first part of which is basically notes on the Patong nightlife...
05 Apr (part 1)
On my last night in Phuket and I figured I owed it to the WSG to go out and do some research, and, since Joy had been worn out by the snorkeling trip, she was only good for two pops, so I popped 50mg of V (just to make sure I wasn’t gonna waste my baht), locked away the Playstation’s power cord (rules are rules), and was soon situated in a Tuk Tuk on my way to Soi Bangla in Patong.
Bangla is pretty cool; I like the sub-soi’s with a bunch of bars all running together. There are a few girls at each bar that act as touts. There’s a pretty good mix of old and young girls, and various sizes, so I’m pretty sure everyone can find what they want. I was in research mode at that time, so I just wandered up and down each sub-soi, ignoring all the pleas of so many ladies who obviously thought I was the most handsome man they’d ever seen :)
I was hoping to get in two short times tonight--one human-slip-n-slide and one bar girl. With this in mind, at the end of Bangla (farthest from the beach), I took a right onto whatever street that is and headed over to Christin’s. It’s about a five minute walk through a pretty quiet area (at least at that time of night).
Christin’s was cozy inside and there was absolutely no pressure from the staff. I’m not sure if this is there MO, or I got lucky walking in behind 3 Japanese guys who drew all the attention. Anyway, Christin’s talent pool was about as good as Darling’s, which is to say ‘severely lacking’. Despite most of the girls trying hard to get selected—waving and smiling—there were only two who were my type, and they were both so fixed on the television that I couldn’t get any eye contact. I suppose that’s a good indication of what their service would have been like. I waited a while to see if any new talent swam into the fishbowl, then bailed. Oh well, can’t say I’d recommend the place, but, seeing as I couldn’t find any other soapies in the area, I’ll say that the majority of the girls seemed enthusiastic, which is a positive.
Okay, with the V pretty much in full gear now, so that, even the street food vendor lady gave me a hard on, I headed back to Bangla to bag a bar girl.
In the name of research, I stopped in the first go-go bar (Smokin Joe’s or something) just to have a look see. \It was a pretty small set-up. A mirror behind the stage gave the appearance of more girls, but there were only 5 on stage and about 3 or 4 hanging out near the door, all clothed in bikini’s and none seemed very interested in the customers. Finished the water I ordered and then left without so much as even one girl stopping by to say hi.
Checked out ‘Dragon’ bar. It was virtually empty. It was about 11PM, so I’m not sure when it would get busy. I did like the way it was set up. It seemed very spacious inside. There were pool tables near the front door, a bar and then the dance area in the back. I wish it’d been a bit more full because I would have liked to stay there a while to pick up a pretty.
This is getting long, so I’ll post a second part later to report a successful end to the hunt :)
