I think the P4P scene in Cebu has gone drastically downhill within the past 4 yrs or so. Red Lips used to be one of my favorite bars, I don't know if they still do, but they used to have 100 php lady drinks, which equates to a cheap interview, after which I've barfined a few different girls over the years, but non within the past 3 yrs. Like I said, all down hill. Part of it is due to the raids over the years and I also blame the Koreans. Not pulling any punches here, the girls have gotten spoiled by easy Korean cash. I agree with you the P4P bar scene is not worth it.

The dating scene on the other hand is a different story. I find Cebu girls to be really friendly. If you have the time to work DIA, it can really pay off.

I made a very quick trip to Cebu during the UN conference last month. As mentioned in a previous report I was determined to give Mango Square a better shot. I went there with two girls with their stated objective to find and negotiate a "take home" girl.

We ended going to three discos: Hype, Alcohology and a third one I can't remember the name (not JAve). All were very crowded mid week but my assessment is very difficult to detect genuine vs P4P girls in these nightclubs. Maybe Jave is the main one for P4P which we didn't go to. Its almost impossible to hear so how would you ever be able to negotiate with a P4P girl. For a single guy turning up to these nightclubs I think it would look odd.

Sure there was lots (maybe 20+) of P4P girls wandering around the square outside the discos but I didn't really see anything I was interested in.

Would appreciate some feedback whether I should persist with Mango Square.

JAve is full of P4P girls, you're best bet to get a P4 P girl is there. I would guess that at least half the girls are P4 P on any given night. Yea, the rest of the clubs on Mango Square are filled just ordinary folks.

I wouldn't worry about turning up alone to JAve. I go there alone all the time. Plenty of guys go there alone. The only one that likely cares is you. Smile, be friendly. Have a good time.

Outside ya sometimes there are a lot of semi-pros and later you get the wave of unbarfined GRO's that get off work and come looking for someone to take to Queensland. I say wave but it literally is a wave of GRO's that walk down Mango from the Viking area bars around 1 am.

Some nights the number of regular Filipinas in Julianas far exceeds the P4 P girls. Remember there's an entry fee, SOP the P4 P girls will stay outside begging free drinks from the guys they know and to try and pickup someone without having to pay the fee. I heard a few of the regular P4 P girls know the owner and get in for free because they are young, gwapa and good for business.

From my experience talking with the P4 P girls they will only pay the entry fee if there are a lot of Koreans inside (usually packed with them), think 3-3-3 rule. They generally throw around TONS of cash on drinks and chicks. Be warned that this weekend they are having what's being called the "Korean Festival Weekend Party" with top DJ's from Korea so the place with be packed with young, drunk and clueless Koreans.

FYI do not try to hit on some of the Hi-so Filipinas that occasionally visit the club and sit in the VIP area, save yourself a lot of problems.

Seems the increasing amount of under 30's young studs coming to town who refuse to pay because they think they are gwapo, They read all the info on various boards about how easy sex is to obtain in the Philippines and they think they are God's gift and therefore they call it a "freebie".

That may be true five or so years ago in Cebu, but most of the Filipinas who engage in the P4 P scene these days want straight cash. They would rather go with an older gent who pays them well, takes them out to eat and buys them shoes. They are not dumb and can figure out pretty fast if you're kuriput or a keeper.

The real quality Filipinas who are in the P4 P scene are getting rare. Most are kept under wraps by Koreans, Japanese and rich locals who pay a lot to have the quality a phone call away. The Filipinas who are chubbier and less attractive have lower prices and standards and these are the ones who sleep with the younger bucks for 'free'.

I remember years ago 2010? I was in LAC in Manila one night and in walked three International male models. Under 30, white, tall, very very good looking guys. They made the rounds of the disco upstairs and even back then the quality wouldn't go with them. I asked one Filipina why not and she told me " why go with him, sure he's hot and I can have a story to tell but they will not pay me anything, and I don't work for free". Everyone watched as only the chubby and fugly P4 P girls went up to the guys. Even the girl I was with was drooling, in fact they all were LOL. But in the end the guys declined the chubbies and left. Moral of the story, the first P means pay. If they would have offered cash the guys could had the picked any girl in there and they would have jumped, but they wanted it for free.

Bingo. DIA then skype then confirm dates, times, reminders and allow for 30 minutes for trapic before you go to Plan be. The only girlie bar I visit in Cebu now is Silver Dollar.

.[/QUOTE]Certainly getting play for free is not an option for me age and looks wise. However a combination of young bucks as well the not honest mongers are probably taking advantage of nave girls. Case in point. I met on my last trip at Ayala a chat mate from FC. Very cute and tall. Wore her heart on her sleave. Had a UK BF then a Canadian BF whose main entertainment was taking sex videos of her. After he dumped her she self harmed. Showing me her slash marks on her wrist. Just speaking from personal experience. 1 am seems a little bit early to me, most of the girls bars close at 3 am. Maybe earlier if there are no customers.

I've been to zebu quite a few times over the years. I don't live there, but my basic MO used to include staying within walking distance and checking out JAve every night during my visit. Girls that you see there every night are almost guaranteed to be P4 P. I still stand by the 50% P4P rate. On weekends, I'd guess that there are slightly more regular folks just there to party.

JAve is a known hooker hangout. I have a few respectable Filipino friends and when ever I mention that I've been to JAve, I inevitably get an "Oh really?" look in response.

There are no Hi-So Filipinos in this club. Its mostly Koreans and their hookers sitting up in the VIP booths. There are better places to go in Cebu for the real Hi-so.

Anyways 50% or 30%, whatever. Its probably this guys best bet. Just my experience. YMMV.

On a side question not totally relevant to Cebu bars. From feedback from a Korean girl I met in Australia who had studied English in Cebu. Most of the Korean students in Cebu are just using it as a cheap way to study English before they start tertiary study in a Western country. If they have enough funds they would prefer just to study English in the western country they intend to end up in. In which case the Korean students in Cebu are not going to be flushed with funds. Sitting at Bo's Ayala last trip there was an extremely cute Korean girl (they tend to be taller than Filipinos). You always see lots of them at Starbucks at Ayala. Anyone had any success with picking up Korean girls in Cebu or is that an impossible expectation?

Doesn't hurt to try, but I've never seen a Korean girl in the Philippines with anyone other than a Korean guy.
