Is this a kind of a street where you need a car to go to or is it "pedestrian friendly" and safe? I wouldn't like to go there on foot if it's dangerous and judging from the map, it looks like some kind of a dodgy industrial zone. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

correct it is an industrial zone, not suitable for walking although i did not see the usual pimps, drug pushers you usually see in such places. The actual road had a pavement with the girls on one side and a bit of wastland on the other. There were cars parked there and i assume that was where some of the action was happening

Just a quick update on the ever-changing strip club situation here in Budapest. I have reported in the past that the only 2 legitimate clubs which I know of (not rip-off establishments) are CandyShop in Buda and Marilyn's in Pest.

I just learned last night that the western owners of CandyShop have packed up and moved to a much bigger facility on the outskirts of Pest. The grand opening was on Friday and it is now called the "4Play" Club. Their motto states "Strip - Steaks - Sports". I went last night and it is an awesome facility. They have all kinds of sporting events on while the girls strip. The kitchen will open up in a couple of weeks. The owners are a guy from Texas, another from Canada, and a couple of English blokes.

Now that said- the former residence "CandyShop" in Buda near Mammut Mall is now a clip joint controlled by a bunch of shady, no-necked Hungarian crooks who will go at any expense to rid you of your forint should you enter their premises. Best to avoid!

I'll be going to Budapest next week (for a week) for the first time and I'm looking forward to it. I've read all of your reports on Budapest (back to Sep. 2004) and I want to thank you for so much great information.

Right now I mainly plan to use AphroditeHostess, Fortuna and Allexclusiveladies because they're well recommended and I'll be there for meetings so I don't have a lot of time for shopping/hunting. If anyone has extra information they could offere on who was good (and maybe more importantly who was not) I'd really appreciate it. Also, I like slim (not super skinny, just not heavy) in case you have any comments on girls you've experienced. I'd especially like to know more about Allexclusiveladies since there's not much information on their website and the manager hasn't answered my emails yet.

I'll be staying at Hotel Gellert. Anyone have any experience on whether the hotel is girl friendly, and how to handle security? Especially how I can arrange for a girl to come up to my room without escorting her through the lobby (I'm there for meetings, remember)?

Also, I've seen 2 or 3 good reports on Business Sauna Clubs that sound interesting, but only one had information on how to find it ([url]www.szauna.club.com[/url]). Can anyone tell me (on the forum or by pm) on any others - prices, services and location?

It is best to call aphroditehostess or sms. Vicky gets a lot of emails and lacks the time to answer them in time.

I do not know if the Gellert is girl friendly, only been there once. Pretentious place, not much to offer, you pay a lot for past grandeur, watch out though going to the sauna, on some evenings it is mainly visited by gays. The gellert is also on the wrong side of the river, but by taxi not really a problem.

The three agencies you mention are probably the only ones worth your while. I have had good service from all in the past, depends a bit on the girl they send, but even then, what does not work for me might be great for you. You just have to be specific about what you want and expect.

I do not understand you question on the szauna club. If the website has an address, just go to viamichelin.com and you will see where it is. It is on a very long street in the city center. Went there once, saw the girls, and left immediately. However the place has good reviews, so check it out, I might have been there on the wrong night. Also, just call the place and they will give you all the info you need. To me they were quite helpful, only complaint I had was on the evening I went there (you need to book it in advance, they have limited girls available and will restrict the number of men, at least that is how it was approx a year ago) the girls were all "weight-challenged" (trying to stay a gentleman by not saying "fat")

I'm in the same boat as Whumper.

I'm staying at the Corinthia and wanted to check their friendliness. I also will be in meetings and want to be prepared so I don't have to fetch the girl in the lobby. Has anyone had success there? I assume I could bribe one of the employees/bell hops to bring her up but I'd like to prepare myself and lay the groundwork if necessary when I check in.

I stayed their once, took a girl up without any problems. I do not know if they would allow a girl to come up on her own without registering at reception first.

I have never had any problems in any of the hotels I have stayed in in Budapest to take a girl up to my room. They never had to register, I never had to pay extra.

Having said that, I always take them up myself, normally after dinner/dance. Only once I organised a girl to come up to my room on her own, but the girl was organised by the bell-boy, so obviously not a problem.

My suggestion is, if you organise the girls through an agency, to ask them if it will be a problem or not. Just be very specific and tell the agency that you want the girl to go straight to the room, tell them (obviously) which hotel you are in and they will tell you if this is a problem or not. If anybody knows how to deal with bell-boys and nasty reception desk staff, it is the girls, they go to these hotels all the time.

Also guys, just as a by-line, why are you guys choosing these old style hotels ? Both the Gellert as well as the Corinthia have seen better times, they might have been nice a long time ago, but in need of serious renovation now (old furniture, bad internet connection if any, a lot of bla bla). I always stay in the NH, city center, relatively new, good facilities, nice rooms, close to a large mall. Or if you insist on a 5 star, go to the Sofitel Atrium, also very nice.

Regarding my hotel....

It is guilt by association. There is a meeting being held there and i must stay there for the meeting. Personally, I prefer the more hip/modern hotels but have no choice in the matter.

Just curious.... have you ever asked a bellman to order a girl (whomever he has contact with) for you and let him do the picking and calling of the girl? I will only be in town for a few days and will not have the luxury of taking my time picking out the ladies. If the bellman are good or have books I will possibly take that route.

I only once asked a bellboy for a girl, was at the Radisson. That was quickly organised and no problems. It is always a bit of a gamble who they send, but ok, sometimes this is the only way to do it.

The hotel you are staying at, I have no experience with the "service attitude" of the staff.

But again, if money is not an issue (ie paying 200-300 Euro for a couple of hours) call one of the agencies listed here before. Fortune, Aphroditehostess and Allexclusive offer a good service, just need to give them time to get things organised.

monday night saw me checking out a few peep shows in budapest, but was generally dissapointed. tried a few numbers from redzone. hu but either no answer or no english. the only answer i got was a place outside my map area.

decided to head to szilinsky 21 as posted by an earlier reviewer. the address was no problem but the apartment number was not mentioned, but it wasnt hard to guess.

went up and was shown in by a little blonde, slightly chubby but pretty. price was 10, 000ft (38 euro) plus extras for 4000ft mentioned were owo, 69 and i thnk anal. took up owo but shouldnt have, it wasnt long enough (the time spent i mean)
