Was out partying with some friends yesterday night. Saturday. All late night watering holes which are open till early morning closed sharp at 1. Eye bar (where I was. It shut so had to move out). Australian animal bar on wood road, hungover on 12th road in Ex pm, salt at 100 road, papa bar in Royal hotel on Dickson road, English pub at the other royal hotel next to grounds. Name it and everything was closed. Messaged a sr LE as to why, and he replied saying yes all are asked to shut without giving a reason. Now I don't know if its because of the end of excise year, renegotiation of contacts, change in LE Sr managers or something else. One auto guy in CBD also said even DBs shut tonight at 11.30 sharp, tho some have authorization to be open till 1. So I guess a temp break in free operations of any nefarious activities. Suggest let the heat pass and rains start.
