Thanks.[/QUOTE]Recommend the 4points by Sheraton in Sukhumvit Soi 15. Perfect location in between SC and Nana. They have specials for 3100 THB and are absolutely girlfriendly (no I'd registration or questions asked).

Does anyone already know if WOOBAR at recently opened W Bangkok is a freelancer spot at night?

I have stayed at the Majestic Grande twice. Once several years ago within months of their opening for business, and then again earlier in 2012. I was impressed the first time around, but disappointed with my second stay. The hotel is run down and in desperate need to a makeover. Customer service was not particularly good the second time around, and the area around the hotel appears to have gone downhill. Definitely GF, though.

Place is awesome. Stayed like 3 times. Rooms are newly renovated so kinda fresh feeling. Right in middle of adult playground if your taste. Best bang for your buck. But last time when I stayed there they stopped giving free breakfast to any rate lower than THB1000. I would recommend it.

Find a streetwalker around 2am, will there be available hotels to take me in for a night?

If yes, what are the hotels I should avoid?

I can only check in at my hotel in the afternoon.

I thought was marginally better than a few years back. At least Wifi was included without extra charge. Breakfast was not (in my particular price deal) but I did not need B / F anyway. Would have paid extra for it if I was up early enough. The girl didn't want B / F too.

The main reception desk was well under staffed, with staff too busy taking the phone to give proper desk service.

The lobby coffee area service was very slow too. So I would say its fine to stay if you want to be close to Nana or Annies, but forget it if you want service. Service is not something I am normally looking for, as long as my room gets made up okay.

As Nic recommends (I think), Solo may be small, but better than Majestic for service. Its only draw back is being deeper down the Soi and just one elevator (lift).

I guess you mean you have booking for a Hotel the next afternoon, but they have no room for the night you arrive. Would help if you specified where you want to be located and the price range, then someone could suggest something. You could then book ahead if you wanted to. There are many crap Hotels to be avoided. I would not try to name them all. E. G. Miami, Crowne, Nana, etc.

Alternatively you could list some Hotels you are considering, and then the posters here would only be too happy to heap shit on them. :D So maybe that is not the best way after all.

I stayed at Giotto's Livingstone Lodge last Saturday and it was a Great night sleep. Unfortunately, the fucker sold all his deluxe rooms so I had to get a Superior room. Wasn't sure it was up to my standards but actually it was great.

It seems this hotel is really great. Now it would be Perfect if Giotto could be removed Completely. Hahaha

The rooms are much better after the renovations. I was hoping to meet you as G mentioned that you would come by. However, met Pita123 instead. Great guy.

It has one drawback, though: a brutal walk of shame. The lobby is actually on the 7th floor, so to go to your room, you have to cross the ground floor lobby, ride up the elevator, then walk past the cafe, concierge and registration desks before you get to the elevator that takes you to your room. It's probably girl friendly, but I was too shy. Next time, I'll try the Four Points, especially the given "back door" entrance on Soi 15 that another member mentioned.

I didn't care about the Walk of Shame and it seemed that the staff didn't care either. The girls even didn't have to leave their ID at the desk.

As a bonus there is no walk of shame, as the front desk is to the right of the entrance, and the elevators to the left. Rooms are very large for the price and fresh since the hotel is quite new. There is a larger than average empty mini-fridge, but not the disposable toothbrushes appreciated by hygiene-minded but unprepared visitors. Free and trouble-free wifi.

The hotel's middling price and size means it doesn't cater to groups, making for good privacy. A pretty good choice for Soi Cowboy, especially if taking advantage of one of Club Carlson's many recent promotions (got 50K+ CC points good for 2 nights here out of a THB2330 stay in May!)

There is actually no problem at all (I've never had my guest asked for I'd at any of the major international chain hotels in BKK, except for the non-GF Holiday Inn Silom when I was young and inexperienced in the 90's) , but the front desk staff usually gives a surly glance.

The Four Points is totally GF and has a very relaxed vibe: the walk of shame isn't really one. Its Soi 15 entrance does require use of the room's keycard. Its tubs are large enough for soapy-style double occupancy. Just don't let your girl fetch you an undercooked meatball breakfast from the street vendor out front!
