2006 Bangkok Reports

Yesterday we went to Hard Rock Cafe. It was quite disappointing.

We arrived around 10:30 pm, and ordered something to eat first. That was basically the highlight of the night, the food was quite ok (though I found my chicken too dry). Service was good, as usual in Hard Rock Cafe, I like this easy style of the waiters sitting even down at the table with you when taking the orders.

After finishing dinner we moved to the bar, listening to the band. Now, I would say that I am not really a fan of that band. The music selection was not bad, but - they could practice a bit more. The sound was somehow suspiciously unclear...

There were some girls. Yes. Nothing more to say. Years ago the selection was good there, but now ... no, if it is like this every night I would not recommend it as a pick up joint any more.

No, I assume most of them would not be 'bitchy'. I just find as soon as I have expended my load I have an urge to leave quickly. It is the period between sex acts that I think more fun alone than with a girl. You are very fortunate! If you consider the cost of travel and time off work, no doubt some well-chosen girls in Canadia are cheaper and provide similar service to our Thai girls. I always found that mongering back in the US was actually cheaper when you took the overall expense into account. What you lose however is variety - there may be only half a dozen decent providers that even a determined monger can ferret out in a US city, while in Pattaya they are numerous even after the demise of the Beach Road.

I have only had trouble with three or four girls in all my years in Thailand, but it will happen, and even to the experienced. For this reason I desire 1) to always be able to jump up, pull on my shorts, and run, 2) that neither the she nor the hotel in which I do the deed know my real name, and 3) that she not know where I reside, for future reference.

I said there was a market, and for exactly the reason you stated. For some reason you believe I think there is NO reason. Perhaps you don’t differentiate between “conventional wisdom” and reality. I do. The whole point of mentioning conventional wisdom is to then refute it with a better argument, which I went on to do. Perhaps you didn’t read that far.

I haven’t been on a business trip? Uh, OK. I’ll let that pass. And assume you fell out of the wrong side of the hammock this morning. :)

As I said to Bluebird, I wasn’t agreeing with conventional wisdom, I was using it as a starting point from which to digress. I went on to disagree with it, as you noted.

Exactly my point. I agree with everything else you said in both subsequent posts. That was the point I was making.

It’s the norm in many places to use Escorts, it’s not in BKK. The impression is that most Escort agencies in BKK are scams. That may be true, but there is a potential legitimate market for the services, which might be a leading indicator that one might exist. It’s just a matter of finding it, and differentiating it from the scams. But the customer potential is there. I’m one too.

I’ve made a living by knowing when to buck conventional wisdom and when to rely on an established track record.

I think someone in the Thailand thread quoted this before "you pay them to go, not to stay". I think this best describes it.

I am a westerner and it is not a cultural thing but common sense. There is a reason why 'classic' Escort agencies are not conventional wisdom. Conventional wisdom says there are no Ice Vendor's to the Eskimo's. Same logic.

Also you can get Thai Penthouse models to screw. I have. Unfortunately they are not going to be found in Escort agencies but private pimps. I cannot disclose the names to you unfortunately since it was done to me as a favor from someone.

That's fine. We just don't agree and that's ok. You spend your money your way and I will do the same. I'm sure we are both having fun in our own ways. I try to use common sense when it matters, and in this case it does not. The more options, the more fun!

The only rule I have in BKK is to play covered, and I always have a blast in Thailand.

Some guy's believe all girls are the same .. and the Ice Cube logic would work for them, since an ice cube is an ice cube. I see each girl/woman as unique, and therefore if I see one that is not in the venue touted by conventional wisdom but she has something that appeals to me, I will go after her. Why not? Price becomes somewhat irrelevent.

Instead of the ice cube example, I look at them as distinct "one of kind" pieces of art or one of a kind cars. If you had two distinct "one of a kind" cars made especially for you, but you could only buy one, and you have enough money to buy either one. Would you take the car you want or choose soley on price? I would buy the one I want and that's just me.

There's no right or wrong answer here. It's a choice that's involved. You are the ice cube guy and I take the one of kind approach.

But you aren't really making much sense. It has nothing to do with the quality of the ice cube in my analogy. It is all to do with the massive abundance readily available.

I will however follow your logic on quality. If there was a superhot girl looking for money in Thailand, where would she most likely end up? In an Escort Agency or outside?

In most parts of the world , an Escort agency would be a better choice. In Thailand, like Ice to an Eskimo, the abundance overwhelms the odds.

Your method is basically rolling the die on a massive long shot on a game thats fixed. No chance of winning.

Phuket is very different to Bangkok you really need to stay in Patong. The main area is Bangala rd with the bars and a few gogo's, there is also Christins massage. The beach is very good there way better than Pattaya.

You could get a taxi from the airport to Pattaya it has plenty of bars and gogos from walking street right to North Pattaya then around soi 3 second road you have some soapies and on soi 6 you have the st places.

While I agree that there are far too many other options than using an Escort Agency I would not say that most are scams, they are grossly overpriced and offer girls that could be found in venues such as CM2 but most will send you the girl that you have chosen ----or you simply send her away.
This service is ideal for a guy on business who does not have the time to scour the bar areas.

Can someone please explain to me why their are so many men out there willing to send money half way arcoss the world to a girl that is still getting fucked by a different man everyday. I know a girl in bkk that asks for 1500 ST and 3000 LT, and you either like it or lump it because she doesn't need the money.

If you not want to pay she don't care because their will always be another customer willing to part with the money for a chance to fuck her, tell her they love her and ask her to marry them. Then send her money thinking she actually likes them.

Then you end up with a girl form a different bar that doesn't want to leave the next day, because she is scared of taxi drivers or so she says. Maybe i am too lazy to take the time to find the right girl for the right price.
