I went to these bars a few weeks ago and was very bored. Half the girls in Mandarin Upstairs looked bored too. Too bored to dance properly. I think it has probably gone downhill. Wasn't vey full at all. Plenty of spare seats. That is not a good sign. Best bars should be quite busy.

I have not had such problems. Far less than at bars like some of the Rainbows. One or two irritating waitresses at CH to be avoided though.

My lasts visits to Shark and Tilac have been very disappointing. Shark is just a shell of its former self.

At CH just act very aloof and disinterested in hustling types. I don't allow girls to sit with me unless I call them. Waitress S1 is a very good one in my opinion. Liitle but very good honest worker. She could even tell me about new girls if they have good character or not.

Posting a little note about a bad experience I had last night from Soi 4, hoping others can avoid the same. I picked up a cute little freelancer from the sidewalk, and it turned into a big scene less than an hour later in my hotel room, security guard and doorman, talk about police, this and that. I came out fine, just a little damper on the weekend trip, and some drama I would have rather avoided.

The girl's name was Om, from Isaan, about 5 feet tall, long hair, braces either blue or green, nice see-cups but they were implants. Nice looks and hot little body, but her attitude back in my room was so bad that I kicked her out fifteen minutes into the action. Of course she wasn't going to leave without money, and she got really pissed and started yelling when I threw her clothes on the bed and told her again to get out, so I called the front desk and told them I wanted her removed. In about 20 seconds, the doorman was upstairs, and after a brief chat he called the security guard, who came up fast too. The doorman translated the girl's Thai and my English, and the doorman told me the girl said I offered her 1200 baht for an hour with her, and I had to explain that of course there had been no talk about money, that she had simply smiled at me on the street and we started talking. Also had to point out that we had been in my room only for about 25 minutes at that point, nowhere close to an hour. He translated her some more and she had said something again about the 1200 baht, so I got in her face and told her she was lying and she knew it, and I wanted to her to get the hell out right now. I don't know what she understood, if anything, or if it was just because I was in her face acting so pissed, but she reached up and slapped me with both hands, tried to claw my eyes. Of course I didn't hit back, that could have got me assault charges, but instead I told the doorman I wanted him to call the police and press assault charges on the girl, that I was a paying client at the hotel and I had just been assaulted on their premises, and that I had two witnesses. He agreed that he saw it. I wish I knew what he said to the little brat after, but it was enough to make her try to hit me again, and then try a third time while they walked her out the door. On the way out she told me "fuck you" in English, and in Thai I told her she was "kii / shit. " I haven't heard anything so far today, and tonight I won't go punting on Soi 4, maybe Beergarden or Cowboy.

I have to say that this trip to BKK is disappointing. Before I picked up the FL on the street last night, I sat at 3 bars, and talked with only one girl that interested me. She wanted 4000 for one hour, so I just paid the drinks and left. Lots of low energy with the girls, nothing like what I've had in two recent trips here. Maybe they were all tired at the end of Songkran, but hopefully they fire back up soon. Good luck and stay safe.

I rambled through Soi Cowboy on a few nights in March. The quality of the agogo hookers has dropped since my last visit 2015. Crazy House was a Crappy House for me, nothing special there. Too many Arab bars on the strip where aggressive girls in their denim shorts want you to buy them drinks. I visited some of those bars because Terry Jones has taught me "Never be rude to an Arab".

Otherwise, ask your hotel. I asked my hotel where a good authentic Thai place was and my gogo girls loved it so much we went back again the following day.
