It still seems a bit strange to me that prices are really that high. Seems so out of connection to the wages for normal jobs. In Thailand a ST goes for a lot longer than than in the west.
What you get for $70 here would cost you at least 4 times higher back home.
Similarly the food here should be several times cheaper than back home. Hotels should be a lot cheaper and so on.
But not all things are several times cheaper.

Take a quick BBBJ for 1000 Baht or about $30. This would cost maybe only 3 times higher back home but no CIM.

Its not fair to compare based on the average monthly wage IMHO, as this country has a much more massive gap between the rich and poor.

In the end you can get very cheap girls when they are desperate enough and no customers. Girls in demand can control the price.
They know its better to take one generous Farang instead of two tight ones.

I already posted this picture and references to Ajarn Noo and his clientele a few weeks ago when we had the big discussion about tattoos. The Angelina Jolie pic is several years old. She had that tattoo done when she was making Tomb Raider in Cambodia.

Haha, I used to get $30 BBBJs, and even $20 BBBJs, almost always with CIM, and even occasionally with CIMWS back home. Of course you'ld spend $50 in gas driving around to try to find a streetwalker - they are so very rare in that police state.

I've never gotten a girl from Sanaam Luang (not really sure where it is), but I hadn't heard it was cheap. Chinatown was always 300-500 baht a year or two ago - I haven't been there since about a year. And of course most of those girls will not do blow job, and the few that do are so bad at it that you long for a 1,000 baht skilled Sukhumvitt provider (few though remain).

Actually I find Pattaya a far better value than Cambodia, but as to getting a job elsewhere - I only go where they need tokens. That is my sole qualification and talent.
