My first time in Thailand next week. I have RTFF many times and I have good intel. But I have not seen any comparisons. I would like to get opinions on which place to go when the primary purpose of the visit is our hobby. I did notice that Pattaya will be a bit cooler. Is the quality / price of women any different? All info appreciated as anyone who has been has a better idea than I.

The answer to the question "Bangkok or Pattaya" is a resounding "YES".
I mean, just go to both places and see what suits you best. It is a few hours in a taxi or bus to get from one place to the other, so there is no reason you should limit yourself to only one place.
Bangkok is much more than a mongering place and is somewhat more sophisticated.
If you like a-gogo clubs, Bangkok is a better choice and is probably even cheaper than Pattaya. If you are into quick "no frills" sex, Soi 6 in Pattaya is without equal.
Beach Road in Pattaya is for the cheap free-lancers but with a little luck you will find a nice companion at bargain basement prices. Sukhumvit Road and Nana parking lot in Bangkok also have their free-lancer street walkers but the number and choice is far less.
The number of beer-bars in Pattaya is huge and there will be something for everyone. Bangkok will hold the edge in "soapies and oilies".
In the end however it is impossible to say which place is "best". I like to spend some time in both as the atmosphere is so different and I like the variation.

Your question is about a trip where the primary purpose of the trip is mongering. If that's all you want to do, then Pattaya might edge it. The city is really set up for mongering, and it is an expected norm. The infrastructure is such that there are very well defined and manageable areas where you know what you will be getting: soi 6 = lines of brothel-type establishments, Walking Street = lines of gogobars and nightclubs, Beach Road = street walkers, soi Buakhao = bars and the like, etc. There are also other things to do if you like. Water sp0 rts* (though you would never catch me in the water in that bay), go-carting, golfing, etc.
But Bangkok has plenty (I mean plenty) of mongering options. I find it to be more vibrant of a scene, with the veneer of regular working life, but a really seedy under-belly (which I love). The girls that you find at Pattaya are 100% P4 P, and that is true for a good number of girls in Bangkok (gogo girls, soapy girls, massage girls, and many of the SWs and FLs in nightclubs). But there are a good number of semi-professionals: girls who hold down regular jobs, and supplement their incomes with P4 P with falang or asians. I kind of enjoy that side of things, which I have never had in Pattaya. You may find it at Pattaya, but statistically, I suspect it is rarer.
So in sum, you can't go wrong. If you are coming for just a few days, I'd pick one destination, study the hell out of it, and then make the most of it. You will enjoy it. If you are here for a week or more, I would do as Wolvenvacht recommends: split your time between the two locations.
And then, of course, post your experiences here.

That way you will know if you miss what you were seeing and experiencing in Bangkok (or not) you can adjust the length of your stay in Pattaya accordingly. You might like Pattaya so much more than the two days you already spent in Bangkok that you won't return to Bangkok until the day before you flight back home. Or you might spend two nights in Pattaya and want to get the hell back to Bangkok in the next available taxi.
But on your specific question above, I have to give Bangkok the high standard advantage in quality and, therefore, somewhat in price too. I mean, have you really scored a bargain in Pattaya if the cost is about 500 baht less per pop overall but the girls aren't anywhere near as good looking or skilled at what they do as they are in Bangkok? In my humble opinion, no. I would calculate the "cost" of pussy and BJs in Pattaya to be far more than in Bangkok on that basis. I have spent a few days at a time in Pattaya on 4 separate occasions over the past 2-3 years and I could not pack my bags and high tail it back to Bangkok fast enough because the beauty and professional skills "offered", if that is the right word for it, by the girls in Pattaya could not hold a candle to those within a 15 minute walk in any direction of, say, Soi 10 Sukhumvit Rd. in Bangkok, no easy and cheap blue baht bus ride necessary. But now we're getting into a very subjective area for which only time in each location will provide an answer for you.

I absolutely agree. If you only have a few days pick one and focus. If your focus is primarily mongering, Pattaya may be easier to manage as everything is pretty concentrated and easier to get to. Also more laid back. But if you want to see the sites and experience some real Thai culture BKK is better.
Patts is also a bit cheaper than BKK in everything (except perhaps food and shopping). Especially the rates the girls charge. The hotter girls are in BKK -- but there are plenty in Pattya to go around as well.
The best FL/disco, Ibar, is in Patts. I haven't found a place in BKK yet that really measures up to the quality of girls and ease of picking up.
Either way you can't go wrong. And as soon as your trip is over you will find yourself planning to get back and try the other one. 555

[/QUOTE]Hard to judge, gogo prices for short term seem a bit lower in some bars in Bkk now vs Pattaya. But its easier to find LT in Pattaya for ST money in Bangkok. It is definitely more affordable to bar hop the gogo's in Pattaya with their drink specials.
If some of you have stayed in the Ambassador suite in the Davis corner wing or been there for a party with some friends you know what I am talking about, I have been staying here now for the past almost 8 years its time I want to change it but I am looking for a suite or room which is on a higher floor has a balcony as I have a thing to fuck females in the balcony with night lights around I used to do in Somerset sathorn but now I look for a pool or jacuzzi in the room also its such passion to calm down in a jacuzzi after you have fucked your female pure pleasure it is I should say or fuck your lady inside the jacuzzi voila.
Advice needed from long staying punters or friends or fellow ISG'ians guide which is a nice room where we can have all of the above. Will be in BKK again soon so need a crazy and classy place to stay.

Having only been to Pattaya (five times) the debauchery factor seems to be higher. One thing that I had always thought and heard was the BKK was more expensive and spread out, as opposed to Pattaya. That said, I'm looking forward to my first visit to BKK next month. I'm still going to Pasttaya in September, because I like the beach atmosphere and love a hotel with a balcony, something that is tough to find in BKK. I'll post my report when I've completed my detox program when I return to the States.
I will arrive in Bangkok at 1 AM. So I figure 1 hour to clear customs and 45 minutes to get to my hotel and check in I would like to make the most of my first night. I have not booked a hotel yet but was wondering how do I get action at 3 AM? I would not want to go the Escort route and it seems like everything is closed at that time. Perhaps a night club that stays open till the early morning? I do not patronize street walkers. I will arrive on a Saturday.

That is, unless there is a current crack down on late-night entertainment. Otherwise, you could try either Spicey or Boss. I have not been for about 3 years, but those are typically the after-hours hang outs. Maybe someone with more recent experience can chime in. Rabit Dog, Spicey and Boss may open another hour or two longer, depends on the day. But picks are somewhat limited. Its not everybody liking to stay up all night until sun rises again.
If you can enter Climax at maybe 3:30, you will have plenty time and choices to make your pick.

Does anyone know a massage place with a bar, so that you can have a drink with the girls and chat and if you like here you can go for the massage? I like to speak with the girls first to find out their behavior and style. I think it's better then just walk in and choose. There was one place in Suk Soi 7/1 but it's closed. I saw one in Soi 23. They have a bar but no drinks to sell. Koh Samui has some places like that but don't see it now in Bangkok.
