Second is I'm very nervous about going to both Brazil and Columbia. I've been been, and I don't speak spanish well. I'm sure it isn't backed up by facts but I'm nervous that I'd get robbed / kidnapped / murdered / drugged going there. If I had someone to travel with there the first time I probably would feel better about it. I will probably go back to Costa Rica and skip DR.

Made a short romp in Sosua last week. Plenty of thick women every where. I saw more guys then I have seen in a long time. In Rumbas on a Thursday night there were more guys then girls I think. In the past there was at least a 3 to 1 ratio. I hooked up with one of my favs. She put in the work and made me a happy man. The feel of Sosua has changed due the new generation of guys. They are younger and have different values. You can still have a good time but for old school vets it has lost some of it shine. I am glad to have enjoyed what I viewed as Sosua hays days. Hopefully new guys are seeing Sosua with fresh eyes and having a great time.

I am there most of the year. The street hooker scene is not what it was. For lots of reasons but ya the East Coast fellas kinda screwed it but they are the guys keeping the lights on. Anyway everything changes. There is a long old tradition of P4P in the DR and in Sosua. Come down for a weekend. Get laid by a ho and get drunk with your friends. Wtf is wrong with that. If you want to stay longer or come more often there are lots of other ways to get the really good pussy. But don't expect it to just happen. Talk to people- like actual people who are not just in you crew of guys moaning about the quality.

The game has changed. The smartphones changed all that.

There's just as many fresh hot beauties being born in the DR, and coming onto the game as ever, maybe more.

Time was the only way they could find a customer was to troll the streets and the bars. Or maybe sit and wait in some backroom MP or smelly casa.

But now, like the guys, the hot ones have all the business they can handle from the regulars and repeaters on their smartphone contact list.

No smart "hot" hooker needs to be trolling the streets and bars looking for a date with a cheap drunk tourist, at 2 am in the morning. They are all home in bed with their kids, or their clients. But there's still a market for that casual visitor who likes a walk on the wild side, with it's hit and miss, and associated risk. This is where I hear most of the complaints about low quality and scams.

That's the new reality.

There were a few posters I took notes from when I began research for my first trip three years ago, but Oakie always had great advice. I'm heading down again to Sosua this week for the rest of the month, and I still have a good time every trip.

But these days, like ke ordering food by phone, you don't have to eat the same shit every day. You you can get a variety delivered to your door, just by one call.

The fun part is adding a newbie to your contact list as they come into town, or more often by reference from a regular. Or posting up in front of the local colmado with the locals, as my original mentor Mr GoGo, used to advocate.

Likewise I'm seeing a lot more guys bringing them in to their place during the afternnoon, for a relaxing session and hanging out by the pool.

But if you like the vibe on the main drag, and you see a hot fresh one that turns your crank, say early Friday, get her number, cause she's not likely to show up again for the rest of the weekend. LOL.

Sosua has a lot of what you want and how you want it. There's no just one way to enjoy the tropical fruits.

II've been coming here for 15 years now, and I've always had a savvy, trained up, go to regular with local connections as my base. I'm on my second.

For 3 or 4 days a week, just long enough to do the shopping, stock my fridge with some some healthy home cooking, wash my shorts, and leave me with enough free time to chill with the guys and gals.

I don't like to carry a man bag when I'm out, or stuff my pockets with glasses, keys, phones, money, charger, pills, and walking around pesos. Everything goes in tha little portable safe she calls a handbag, and she'll kill anybody who even looks at it. There's maybe a hundred bucks in there at any one time.

It's not something I recommend, because the kind of skanks some guys hang with, and seem to constantly complain about here, really are stupid enough to fuck up a 7 year deal for a hundred bucks or so.

There are a few folks out there who seem to get pissed when they see other folks enjoying themselves, and making a successful P4 P deal that works for both parties.

Best to avoid them like the plague, because there's that black cloud problems, scams and fuck ups, that seems to follow them around!
