Cali Reports

Thanks for sharing the photos too. I will be in Cali next week and my wingman wanted to stay at Cali Plaza this trip. Your report and a few others makes him think it will be a good place to check out at least once. Just remember, when speaking of the country, there is no letter (U) in Colombia. Funny thing is that even the Colombians are making a joke of it. There are coffee mugs and shirts at the gift shop in the Medellin airport (the last one you walk by when headed to the departure gate) that have something to that effect written on them.

Mr E I wondered the same thing about those taxes. Some places have charged me and others did not. The disclaimers as I understand them make me think we should not. Any local guests we have staying with us would be subject to it but we should not. Maybe someone else can clear that up but I am going to ask my realtor friend in Medellin about it on Thursday when I see him.

Thanks to the other posters on this thread as well. It helped with my first visit to Cali and a few have me interested in some new areas to explore this upcoming visit. I have not posted in a while but will post some stuff about the Cali portion of this trip to Colombia. #21-yeah I am hooked!

Is Cali the best place for meeting black Colombian women? From what I've read it seems to be (or at least has the highest population). I noticed on the those cam sites like MFC and chaturbate, the hottest girls with the most bangin bodies almost always seem to be, without fail, the black colombian girls. I also noticed that some of the lighter skinned Colombian girls modify their bodies and still do not have as good bodies. These black colombian girls seem like a much under-appreciated gem in the mongering world (maybe I'm wrong).

Are there any specific casas or escort websites that have a lot of black girls. Or any clubs in general? Is a normal non-pro situation (or modest help with expenses) possible for someone with limited Spanish? Are there any racial issues in terms of black colombians and white gringos?(Is it frowned upon by the culture? Despite the fact the cam sites are saturated with black Colombians, I am having trouble finding escort sites with any. Is anal difficult to get in Colombia compared to Brazil?(I. E. My first time in Colombia was to see a girl who was a lawyer. I did not speak Spanish and she did not speak English. I spoke Portuguese though so I was able to make out a lot of the Spanish. I have since learned Spanish and it is no problem for me to get non-pros. But thinking you are just going to pop up in a country where you do not speak the language and normal women are going to screw your brains out: that country does not exist. It's best to get on a dating site before you go and start fostering relationships.

Colombia seems like it requires a little more ground work than Brazil.

Yes, Colombia is cheaper than Brazil. From hotels, food, or chicas, everything is cheaper. As far as websites-escorts go, its not my thing, can't help you. The venues I've been to, casas and bars are what I've mentioned, a certain minority representation of black chicas. I do know a SW area on Carrera 7 where the majority of the women are black, but its not too safe around there, and again no English spoken. Yes the chicas are somewhat jealous, but not insanely.

You will find most Black chicas near the Caribbean cities, such as Cartagena.

And Cali has a much more substantial African descent population than does Medellin. That doesn't necessarily mean you'll find them in the typical Gringo haunts.

The coastal areas (both Pacific and Atlantic) of Colombia have the highest percentages of African descent people. The Pacific coast, in particular, has a very large African descent population, but most tourists will have little desire to travel to Buenaventura or Choco.

FWIW, in a dozen trips to Colombian, I've never gotten anal. When I used to go to Brasil, it was a given. Don't expect to duplicate your Rio/Brasil experience elsewhere, and you'll likely be happy.

As a matter fact, the Colombianias in my experience are some of the most beautiful women on the planet, but also the most drama filled batty, crazy and jealous.

I spend lots of time in both countries and you can't go wrong with either Colombia or Brazil, though like guys have said, Colombia is cheaper in general.

Also like guys have already said, the more language skill, the exponentially better the experience.

Guys that don't speak the lingo say it's no big deal, however, that's because they just don't know.

Cali has a very much higher black population than Medellin and Bogota. You have probably stayed in the north of Cali most of the time. There is a large concentration in the South part of town. I have been traveling to Cali since 1994 and have spent much time there over the years.

If one is looking to find black women in Cali, it's best to stay in the very south part of town. Near the Hotel Radisson Royal. You'll see many in Unicentro and Jardin Plaza, the 2 large shopping malls in the south. They are the most approachable and easiest to get to know of all Colombian women.

You are probably right, I haven't been to the Southside that much.

For example in medellin strip clubs I've seen hot black chicks go all night without hardly any clients while the lighter skinned chicas are raking in the dough. Same thing in Cali.
