Little Tokyo is on Chino Roces (formerly Pasong Tamo) just down the street from Makati Cinema Square. It's reputed to have the best Japanese restaurants in town and I believe it. Every time I've eaten there, the food has been excellent. Just to the right of the square there's a KTV catering to Japanese and the entrance is normally clogged with young, pretty Filipinas. They're the only ones I've ever seen in the area who are obviously available and eager to connect. I've been invited by the girls to go inside the place but always declined, figuring that if it's catering to the Japanese it's likely to be expensive.

So many of my preferred girls (ages 20-27) work or hang out at the same 2 or 3 American style malls. At work they are standing on their feet for 12 hours a day, staring at all of the people that walk by. The white dudes are bound to stand out from the crowd, and next thing you know, they are texting everyone they know.

Welcome to the board first off. You may not know better but it's not usually recommended for anyone to just come in on a thread and post questions that have been answered or talked about numerously already. You definitely came to a great message board so you are in the right place. Below this post is a ton of information that will definitely be of help to you. Pages and pages really. As you got here on your own before you clicked on the Manila thread there is also a hotels thread here in the Philippines section for Manila Hotels. If you didn't know, Ermita is really part of Manila. There are lots of other threads that might interest you like Makati, General Info, and Angeles City that might be of interest to you. So read for a long while is my recommendation. That's a very polite way of saying RTFF.

I am intrigued by the little bit mentioned here on the MP, Phoenix One which is in a hotel called Roman Suites. Some one says this is immediately behind the Renaissance (Marriott) Hotel. Can anyone give a more detailed account of the procedures at this place; the quality of the girls; just more detailed information? Place sounds interesting if you are already staying at the Renaissance.

Phoenix One is on the third floor of Roman Suites. Once you get into the hotel, walk up the stairs directly across from the front desk. Once you are on the second floor, look to your left and their is another set of stairs that will take you up to the third floor. The price is 1200p before 6pm and 1400p after 6pm for the room. The price for the girl is 1500p but sometimes they will ask for a little more. I usually just give 1500p afterwards without asking how much and haven't had any complaints. There usually are more girls after 5pm but I have always gone in the afternoon because I'm usually at EDSA or LA Cafe at night.

Locally I have enjoyed Burgos, the hotel bars, Jupiter, Gloretta, Roxas Blvd, Edsa Entertainment, Malate, Ermita, Greenbelt, Paranaque, etc. I have even had local friends bring me to QC (though I still don’t get QC). The quality of the girls is higher in some places and lower in others, but all working girls end up at LA Café at some point. I have spent too much money on drinks in the Burgos bars, then later gone to LA later and seen the same girls. I have hung out at Café Havana in Greenbelt and then gone later to LA, same girls. Hell I have spent next to nothing on girls in Puerto Gallera, Subic City and Angeles, and then met the same girls at LA. Basically if a girl is working and smart, she figures out LA Café. So if she does not score where she works, she will on occasion end head off to LA. (The only exceptions are the girls who are really just out for a good time, not working. You won’t find them at LA, but might in the hotels, Jupiter, Malate, etc.)

So if someone tells you he prefers higher end bars, because the girls are different, he either has not look well enough at LA or is not paying attention. On any Saturday night 500 girls must pass through. If you can’t pull your GFE there you are not really trying.

In fact, when i wrote my report, I should have mentioned that I know Gaijin Gigolo -just like me- is more into the hunt for what your call 'the girls who are really just out for a good time' vs the hard core pro's.

I have always scored at Havana Greenbelt free of charge because I have always focused on the 'the girls who are really just out for a good time'. I guess that's also why I am a big fan of Havana Greenbelt and feel LA Cafe is just a disgusting place -- again, matter of taste and frame of mind.

Having said that and havind read your report, i'll be happy to take a second look at LA :-)

What will you be doing in Lipa? That looks a bit off the beaten path. You will be a bit far for a casual run to manila, maybe two hours dive depending on traffic. You can head up there for the weekend and stay in a cheap hotel P1-2, 000, if that is your budget.

If you want to really monger I suspect you will need to go to one of the bigger cities. Closest to you will be Manila. There are also some very rustic (and cheap) places I have been to in Batangas City. For a weekend you can go through there to Puerto Galera.

Else you are left to ferret about in the provinces. As a foreigner you will be very popular. But most provincial girls, when they are in the province, are quite shy and traditional. You will probably see a hesitation to be seen with you, especially alone. They may agree to meet, but will bring friends and relatives. This will last for a while till she gets comfortable or until you propose. Make friends with the local guys you work with, and get them to take you out.

Another good idea is to go on one of the dating sights and look for girls in your area. Filipinaheart is one the girls tell me they like. I have never tried it but it would be a good idea to get going on lining up local dates. Else it could be a long month.

With local friends we go out to the Shang or some of the spots on Jupiter like Strumms, Eastwood, upstairs at Greenbelt, etc. All very nice but a bit boring. But when I want women. LA is world class.

When I have been to Havana it seems most of the women there are working. They are sitting in groups outside, trying to catch your eye, or inside at the bar, trying to catch your eye. There are also some male dance instructors, and the women who they service. Some of the working girls are really beautiful, but I suspect expensive and too much of a prostitute experience for me. So I have not bothered. Some are passed their sell-by date, but all dressed up.

A few months ago I was there maybe 7 nights in two weeks. I was with a friend already so not hunting (and she was a bit uncomfortable because of all the working girls). But there was this one girl I spied who really caught me attention. Not all painted and dressed, but sort of fresh scrubbed Ivory girl. She looked a bit out of place and had lots of female friends around her. Anyway I fantasized about her while chatting attentively with my date. Well after I dropped my date off, I headed to LA. Guess who was there? With the same friends?

I saw her at Havana on maybe 3 of the nights, and at LA 2 of these. I have since seen her a few other times at LA. And her friends.

So there are lots of places where the girls are not working. But at Havana Greenbelt I would think you would have trouble separating the working majority from the not working but still desirable minority. No?
