AA announces more flights to Latin America
From the USA, American offers access to 45 destinations in 17 countries in Latin America – meaning more flights to more locations in Latin America than any other carrier. We're making changes to our network to offer you more opportunities to Latin America. This summer, we'll launch new service between Miami and Manaus, Brazil, and increased service between Dallas / Fort Worth and Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Beginning June 14, American will increase the total number of weekly flights between Dallas / Fort Worth and Sao Paulo to 12 times per week, and flights from Miami to Brasilia (BSB) and to Belo Horizonte (CNF) will increase to daily flights. We now offer more flights between the USA and Brazil than any other airline, giving you more opportunities to explore the country's white-sand beaches, colonial towns, and colorful culture. Flying to Sao Paulo? Beginning in December 2012, be among the first to experience our brand new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Equipped with fully lie flat First and Business Class seats, a variety of inflight entertainment options, and international Wi-Fi capability, you'll have a comfortable and enjoyable trip to Brazil.
We believe that the travel experience is as much a part of the trip as the destination. Once in the air, customers in the main cabin on the way to Sao Paulo and other select destinations in Brazil can now say cheers to complimentary beer and wine!
* The above is from an AA email announcement today, though it basically only mentions Brazil (must be Ricker's doing, LOL?). Hopefully AA will continue to add more flights to Latin America and increase competition which can only help with airfare pricing.
