Quite nicely done up and there was 4 good looking Philippinas on hand. All spoke excellent English. The boss runs the Japanese restaurant (or was it Korean) next door.

Another one could be the Fashion Cafe on Kampuchea Krom, west side of Phsar Thmey, heard it's owned by an barang, all Khmer girls who speaks at least some English, which is worth a checkout. Both aspire to be one level up from the girlie bars off the riverside.

Appreciate a writeup if you visit.

Nagaworld casino has a nightclub / bar which is very up market. I believe (but am not 100% sure if they are still doing this) they have a 'model night' on Tuesday's / Wednesday's. The waiting staff are also damn gorgeous, don't expect to drop less than $100 if you want to meet up with some of the ladies in there as they are very up scale. But you can just go in and admire the eye candy.

Pontoon tries to attract the upscale crowd but all the girls there love themselves to much and are real gold diggers, so to get anywhere say you're there for a few months that your company is paying for you to stay at the hotel all this time etc.

Some 'resident' freelancers on most nights and they tend to sit around the bar nearer to the band stand, but in my opinion nothing much to shout about, but you never know with FLs, those who can't make it soon disappear from the scene due to the high cost of drinks there ($5 for a bottle of beer) , so there is always a refresh of talents.

The 'normal' girls there are more interesting place. Be aware that many of the bar girls go there after work so they may not be as 'normal' as they seem, LOL.

I now a sweet girl who works at Walkabout and she goes to Darling Darling with her friends once in a while, especially on weekend days. I fucked this girl few times already for 15 USD at the Walkabout but she told me she managed to get 3 customers at Darling Darling and the guys paid 60 to 75 USD for her services. So yes, indeed, make sure these girls are really upscale because you could end up being cheated by some bar girls pretending to be high-class escort girls.

Will be going to Phu Quoc over the holidays. Is there any action there, or just beaches? .

But to answer your question: not much action. There is a disco near Long beach, where most hotels are, but it's mainly a vietnamese affair with the occasional foreigner showing up. It's mostly rich kids though and a few hookers but most don't speak English.

I know there are many small bars in the small streets next to the riverside (Street 110, 130, Street 5, between 136 and 144). The girls there look stunning and very friendly. Just walking by, the girls standing outside will call you in. I tried one of these bars a long time ago but the girls where not going out with customers (half of them being hostesses) or were demanding huge amounts (for the rest, at least 60 dollars for ST which is insane).

So I am wondering what to expect if I go back to these places. I know noone ever mention these places on this thread so I guess not much action to get from them. However, the girls there look way better than most of the ones at Walkabout, Candy or Rose. Among the places I am mentioning, here are some names: Red Bar, Domino Bar (both on Street 5) , City Bar, Ben's Bar, Happy man Bar (all on St 110) , Lin's Tavern (Street 130) , Night Life Bar, LS Bar (both on Sothearos, between what Ounalom and the National Museum).

The other problem of these places is that they are very small so you are usually under siege by the girls as soon as you push the door (which I don't really like). However, the girls are really beautiful so I'll be willing to get one of there and bring her home. Let me know what to expect (in terms of price, skills and attitude) for those who had previous experiences there. We never discuss about these places so I am curious to hear what you think about them.

Ones who go out with customers for sex and the ones who just act as hostesses. There is certain number of girls in every bar who go with customers. Other girls will tell you who does go. However the asking price maybe high. Usually it is the other girls who push the girl to ask gor high price. Once I had to pay $40 LT. The girl was OK but had nice pointy boobs. Service was good for one shot but in the morning she refused. So I gave her only $30. She did not complain.

I heard all the good looking girls have local rich sugar daddy's or boyfriends. It seems these girls are hired to become hostesses ofcourse with sex for local businessmen parties. So they are least bothered to make money by going with punters. The bar tolerates this because pretty girls draw in the customers. I dated one girl who had a Russian boyfriend who supported her with a house and everything. He came only few times a year to Cambodia on business. She was living in a reasonable house with a servant. She told me she never goes out with men for sex. She said she was horny and went out with me. Ofcourse I take all these stories with a grain of salt.

I have never checked out the bars you mention above, but like you I am getting a little tired / let down with the usual places. The talent at Rose bar, for example has fallen off a lot since '09 IMO; more girls, lesser quality. So I will give some of these 110, 130, 5.136 and 144 street bars a try next time I am in town. I can't see what I have to lose.

As to price: I don't want to start a price civil war, but here is the thing; If the choice is between a 5* girl from Rose Bar or Walkabout, Heart, Zanzibar for $20 to $30 LT and an 8* stunner for $60 somewhere else, I will take the stunner all else being equal. But she has to be a stunner! Once upon a time you could find really good looking girls all over PP for $20 / night and they were very sweet. Good luck with that now. The best I found for $30 semi LT (multiple shots but not overnight) was a 6* girl from Rose Bar. She was a nice girl and treated me ok, but that was all. Nothing to write home about.

Try the Fashion Lounge Café near the Central Market. You'll get girls 7+ and there are some really stunning. $60. $70 for LT. I was there recently and had some memorable experience.

I have had many fun nights in all of them. Happy man has gone through stages. The Mamasun there is a great lady Mrs Hapy However she does push lady drinks sometimes. The girls there however I would say howver have never been the most beautiful. The prices at Happy man well I have always paid $15 for a ST here. That includes when taking multiple girls for some more kinky stuff.

Bens, Domino, Red bar all the same just smaller less popular hostess bars however in all these bars and happy man there are fewer hostess and more girls looking to work.
