What have i been telling? Tallinn is d.e.s.t.r.o.y.e.d.
The changes has been enormous only the last year. To much single-man-tourism from Italy and Britain who anoy the local girls, plus better economy, has made this former pussy-heaven into a normal "western" city. Even many of the houses is closed down! I have as told in previous posts visited Tallinn for the last time, and are using my money elsewhere. There are still places who are pussyheaven - but not in Estonia.

I wish to lay down some guidelines to those of you who have never been to Tallinn.

From the private messages I have been receiving lately, I think many have been misguided.

1) First of all, Tallinn is no sexual playgroung. If you want a sex holiday go Thailand or Brasil.


2) Regulars are as hard to get as any other European Country. Estonia is no third world country, with hungry people on its streets and girls only too willing to spend the night with a foreigner for a small tip. Chances are, if you aren't getting a date every time you go clubbing in your home country, you aren't going to take a girl to bed the first night you arrive in Tallinn and keep her for the week or the duration of your stay.

3) *****s where probably non-existant in every single night club I visited, except one nightclub which was really a disguised *****-house. In fact it had rooms on the first floor and a reception where one pays for such services. So, forget about the South East Asia style where you find girls in bars willing to spend the night with you in return for a few bank notes.

4) There are a number of apartments where you ring the bell, are let in, and welcomed into a kind of sitting room. Soon after, a couple of girls come over. You choose your pick, pay for an hour or half hour, and are led to a room where you can fuck to your hearts content. You will find such addresses on the forum. (Forgot the addresses but I picked them up from the forum myself).

Conclusion: Unless you're some kind of gigolo, that type of person who manages to land a girl everytime he's out in his hometown, or else unless you're extremely lucky, you won't get laid by regulars in Estonia. The other option is *****s, *****s, *****s, which you will find for the usual one hour service, if you know where to look. GFE or not depends on the individual *****. Sorry for disappointing a few of you but that's my opinion from my one week long holiday a year ago.

Back to the board in regards to what is being said about Tallin.

I was there for a 5 day visit in winter 2002. My only response to recent comments is DON'T be discouraged guys.

First of all, Tallin is an aesthetically gorgeous fairy tale city, yet unspoiled by mass tourism thus still relatively cheap, Saku is great beer and flows freely throughout the city and the P4P apartment scene was vibrant, eclectic, and easy to navigate thanks to WSG. And the non-pro scene is there for the taking.

So, relax, step away from the edge and breathe a sigh of relief.

My visit:

I stayed in one of those stanky backpacker hostel types Vana Tom. I had a private room and the young ladies working the front desk had no problem at all with visitors. They require overnight guests to sign in with a passport, however this policy was loosely enforced I later discovered.

I spent most of my days checking out Tallin.

At night I hung out at pubs, clubs and visited a number of apartments. I hit 3 different apartments during my stay...all great fun.

Meeting a regular Estonian girl as it turned out wasn't so difficult. On my third night I visited Mr. Robinson's club, i know what you're going to say "That's a Russian club". I assure you this was an Estonian girl, she made it abundantly clear.

Anyway, I sat down, had a couple of drinks while I watched the girls dance to awful euro techno. Two girls asked if they could sit with me, an 8 (blondie blue eyed, said she was 18) and a 4. I made sure I scooted over towards the 8 and we connected. I bought them a few rounds of drinks and we hung out the rest of the night, we shot pool upstairs. We ended up at a 24 hr. bar, by 10am I went to sleep and sent the girls on their way.

Later that night these girls came back to my room at 8pm. We went to a pub until it closed, I managed to get rid of her friend the 4 and went back to my room and she spent the night with me. She was young, very tight, up for 3 rounds and very quiet. Vana Tom is not very private, perhaps that's why.

The hard part was getting rid of her the next morning. That's life boys.

BUT: read my former messages. I dont live in Tallinn, and as i have said many times: i dont go there anymore, so i do NOT try to keep a "heaven" for myself.
Tallinn AND Estonia is just not like it used to be. And one of many reasons are your fellow countrymen, patata Chips..

So i cant help you with other places in Estonia either. There arent any easy pussy-places there anymore. Its a hit and miss, just like in the west. But you could try Narva - the poorest city - but you HAVE to talk russian since 96 % is russianspeaking - and only that.

I'm sorry!

My advise to you is to forget about the baltic states and go further south where the economy still are bad, where the EU still is just a dream and where the tourists are rare.

I don't think at all that Tallinn is destroyed or ruined.

Of course it is not the same than 5 or 10 years ago, but it shouldn't even be. Economical growth, together with rapid increase of salaries and prices has of course changed pussy scene, both amateur and professional. After all, it is not separate part of the society, on the contrary the changes with prostitution (forms, availability, prices) reflects the changes in society. And is this bad? Surely not. I am very sure Tallinn is much nicer place for tourist now than 10 years ago. There are lots of fancy restaurants, comfortable hotels, usable public services, trustworthy legal system. And available pussy haven't disappeared anywhere.

We should not compare Estonia, now member of European Union, to third world countries, or even Russia.

Even the pressure from the press towards politics and police is strong, there are still few working houses, brothels, totally non-existing in the most of neighbouring countries. For one time tourists the availability should be quite ok and prices not too high. Striptease clubs preferred by some are, both quantity and quality, much nicer than in Helsinki for example.

For those, who come here more often, maybe because of business, there are more practical solutions. With some prior research over the net and/or local contacts it is quite easy to find girls who are ready to entertain guys in hotel rooms or private apartments.

Those who have stayed here longer and have learned local language(s) knows it is quite easy to get regular girls to spend some quality time in the bed for reasonable compensation. Not easy for tourists, but hey, can you do that at home either?

For most visitors, many of them coming from Scandinavia and UK, Tallinn offers fresh air and possibilities to do things that would be either too difficult or too expensive at home.

Tallinn seems to be also popular place to have business meetings, company ( now before Christmas) and stag parties, with reason, things like food, drinks, accommodation, transportation and conference services are much cheaper here. Girls and many other activities also available. There are not so many places nearby where you can go to shoot with assault rifles and have naked girl offering champagne (even it would be the cheap "Russian" sparkling wine) while driving with Hummer.

Some writes here seams to have unrealistic hopes, they would just want to take cheap flight here, walk to nearest bar, pick up beautiful girl and fuck her for free for next 4 days in row. Sorry, not possible.

Of course Tallinn, like any other place, loses some charm after 5 or 10 visits, new place has always "that something". Picking up place for weekend fun is always a compromise, but I am quite sure Tallinn is still one of the good places to visit in this part of the world.

Cheap Flights now available to Tallinn from UK.

From 31 October easyjet start a route from Stanstead to Tallinn. This is fantasic news for UK punters. Myself and some friends went for a stag in July and had a good time with girls , drinking and casino but were not immpressed with the local airline.

Hopefully there will be as much of my countrymen as Finns on our next visit around Xmas.

I agree with everything Maximus has said. Yes, things have changed in Tallinn, even in the short time since I went there August 03 to this summer, but it's still one of the most charming places I've been to (and I have lived on 4 continents). There's still opportunities for picking up girls, paid or non-paid, you just have to be a bit more adventurous and try and make contacts or go outside the Old Town a bit. I went in July and August this year, and I'm going again this weekend. Yes, you can come across like an arsehole foreigner, but it's amazing how if you know a few Estonian words or a little bit about the country and its history, people quickly perceive you as different from the "sex-tourist/stag party foreigner." Learn a few words! "Tere". "Ilus". "Palun". "Tanun". They really make a difference.

Max also talked about the opportunities if you speak the local language. Well, he is talking about Estonian, but remember Tallinn is 50% Russian speakers, and I have taken about 35 hours of Russian (slightly more useful to know on a global scale); and (with Russian speaking dyevs) it's amazing how cute they think you are when you speak it, or try to speak it. Honestly, there are opportunities there (even if SOME girls throw drinks in your face). If you can come across as a sincere, normal guy who doesn't automatically assume every girl he talks to is a pro, you probably have a better chance than with girls in many Western European capitals.

Also, yes, Tallinn is not Ukraine or Romania, but let's face it, the average yearly salary is what, £4800? Your money still goes a loooooong way, if you're willing to splash out a little and you're not going to be counting every penny. I took a girl to an Azeri restaurant in the centre of town, and for 2 main courses with a bottle of wine, it came to slightly over £12. Not very "kallis"!

Boys, Narva is not the poorest (metered by average salary) city, nor Ida-Virumaa county the poorest county, not even close.

No girl from the street will give ass to get food, not in Narva or anywhere else in Estonia.

Actually Maximus, average income levels in Ida-Viru county ARE the lowest in the country at just 73% of the national average. It is one reason why so many girls come to Tallinn from the area.

That said, I am sure that there are places in Estonia where the average income is lower than Ida-Viru, but county, not so.

just differnet way to read statistics. Average salary in Tallinn 2004 Q1 8419 eek, Ida-Virumaa 4 996 eek, four counties under it (Valga, Põlva, Võru and Jõgeva, lowest in Jõgeva 4803 eek). Average house hold size just bigger in Ida-Virumaa, lowering numbers statistics you refered showed. All the numbers also from [url]www.stat.ee[/url].

I didn't find numbers for Narva, but I remember it being close to 6000 eek per month. Thing of course is that in big cities salaries are higher (also house hold size smaller) and Narva is 3rd largest city in Estonia.

Also should remember that in rural areas big part of house hold income comes in cash lowering official numbers. In Tallinn there are many state institutions, big companies increasing the statistical average.

One thing also to remember, living costs in East Estonia are much lower than in Tallinn. So in the end, differences in standards of living are not so big than some numbers would first show.
