Pussycats
One evening I went bar-hopping with the steady GF in tow. At first like all the women in the PI she objected to my request for us to go have a drink at a gogo bar. After a few drinks she wanted to go to every gogo bar in Cebu and even suggested we hit up Jaguar in Banilad. Was she shy, you bet, but her shyness was over-ruled by curiosity. She did however feel more at ease when she saw the groups of Korean men and women in almost every bar we went to, so she was not the only regular women in most of the bars and this made her feel better.
One stop we made on our tour was the new Pussycats on Mango. I had never been to the previous bar and so in we went. I found it small and I was not impressed with either the girls or the club.
We walked in and sat in one of the sectional sofas right across from the stage and ordered two SML and there were 5 dancers on stage and I rated all of them as being in the 5-6 range and later I saw one nice 7.5 rated girl and she seemed pretty drunk as she held onto the stripper pole and moved her body only slightly to Bon Jovi. Granted I only stopped by at 12:30am and alot of the better girls might have been barfined, but there was better quality elsewhere on my tour even after 1am and no I did not make it to Jaguar, just the Mango area bars.
I found it strange that the guard did not sit at the front door, but rather out in the parking lot close to Mango Avenue and there was no guard or floor manager inside that I saw. Also the dance floor is very low and close to the floor level which led to one drunk guy getting up and slow dancing a whole song with one girl who was very uncomfortable with him all over her, and another jock idiot who thought he was too cool and he walked on stage and proceeded to show everyone how many of his 8 brain cells were still working as he lifted himself horizontal on the other stripper pole for a few seconds on his way to the CR. If there was a guard inside or a floor manager around this kind of stuff would not go on and its a sign of a new bar. This stuff is harmless most of the time but I have seen fights start over less.
I asked a waitress about the barfine and she looked around and then told me "2000...just for tonight" and alarm bells went off in my head as my scam radar went off. I then asked her loudly if she could be barfined as my GF had a crush on her and I wanted to watch as she did naughty things to her. The look on my GF's face was one of horror and shock and was priceless. The waitress knew I was joking and walked away and let's just say my GF did not approve. Oh well, getting her in a gogo club was good enough for one day, and I can work on the three-some on another.

Bahol
This is my second time traveling to Cebu. I have been reading from my bros that the beaches in Panglao are worth visitng.
I will be staying at the Hilton on Mactan island which I really enjoyed the last time I was there Buffet breakfast incliuded in price and was very good with a nice assortment of foods Big rooms nice friendly courteous employees. I prefer the Hilton to the Micro Hotel and are about the same price. Always book ahead. Months ahead if you can much cheaper booking in advance. I would recommend both places. Yes far from cental Cebu but if you have time it is ok. Gf friendly I couldn't say. I booked room for two.
Any suggestions on where to stay in Panglao or the set up there? I will be accompanied by a young lady Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking my bros in advance

re: Bahol-Bohol?
I think you meant Bohol. The Alona Beach area has a ton of decent bungalow-style resorts. It all depends on your price range. Some of the resorts, like Bohol Divers Resort, even have low-end and midrange prices at the same resort. I'd try them first. If you're looking to pay in the $200 USD range, then Alona Palm Beach Resort will get you there.

Paseo Disco
Can someone please tell me if the rumour that Paseo Disco in Cabahug, Mabolo has closed down, is true? Save me a trip out there if it has. Curious to know how long it has been closed if so, cause place was huge and very successful times I went there.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Sisters and golf
Just back from a 4 day outing to Cebu. I had lined up a number of DIA contacts plus arranged to meet a previous cutie in Manila on my stopover on the way back. Booked online at the Diplomat for $27 a night for the standard room with 2 single beds. A couple of nice American chaps there told me they paid $23 walk in rate for a Deluxe with a double bed.
As in the past, many of the DIA girls that I had lined up were late to respond to phone or text messages, but eventually most contacted me and were willing to meet. I ended up with my number two favorite to begin with while the number one choice started returning my text message shortly afterward. Number 2 had to come in from the province, 2 hours she said, and could she bring her sister? Her sister would only stay to meet me and then go home and the cutie would stay. Sure.
FOUR hours later they show up at Robinson's Mall on Ramos, but there's not one sister, but two. We meet in the food court. I offer to buy them dinner and they quickly agree. They want to go the family's favorite restaurant in Lahug to eat. I see visions of a 3000 peso food bill at some expensive restaurant so I say no, we're in a food court and I've been waiting 4 hours. Let's grab something here. We eat and then I buy them a cake at Baker Bob's to take home to their parents for having such beautiful daughters. The 2 sisters then split to stay overnight with an auntie in Mandaue. My cutie, 19, and the cutest of the 3, springs it on me that she didn't bring any clothes and that I needed to buy her some. Really? Hmmm.
We go upstairs and she starts shopping for a week's worth of clothes. LOL. I quickly put an end to that but bought her a pair of jeans and a few pair of panties. She had already shown she wasn't that bright....there certainly wasn't going to be much coversation other than the 'yes' and 'no' answers she had been giving me so far. Anyways, back to the room and she's got a fantastic little body and loved the DIY. But it was obvious this was a family business venture, as the middle sister had already married a forieigner that had built her a house. I was the next guy on the list.
Morning came and the sisters called and said they were now returning to the province. I said ok, but your sister is going with you. Why? She doesn't like me, I said. We meet again at Robinson's and the married sister immediately starts hitting on me to go to Manila. She makes it plain that it will be lots of fun without coming right out and saying so. After repeated attempts she gives up, but I ask about the oldest sister, 25, who is cute too, and has a nice full ass. She jumps up and lets out a shout of glee. We leave and the debauchery begins about 4 seconds after we hit the hotel room.
I leave the next afternoon so I take sister no. 2 back to Robinson's where she cabs it to SM and then on the bus home. I gave both the sisters 1000 pesos on departure.
Ok. So I'm on the plane to Manila where I make a move on a tall, Spanish looking stewardess. It works. She starts chatting me up....I was in seat 1A so it wasn't too obvious to everyone, and she gives me her email. I guess those 'business card burning ceremonies' don't apply to Cebu Pacific.
I land at Manila and surprise, surprise, my other little beauty is at the wrong terminal. We go to Sogo (my first time). 640 pesos for three hours. Room is definitely acceptable with a giant wall mirror and tv,etc, etc. She is smoking hot and I gave her 3000 pesos because she is more of a friend now.
For the golfers. Played at the Alta Vista course. They'll sting you for everything they can. Ended up paying $100.00 U.S. because I needed clubs, shoes, etc. The course has some short holes but is very scenic. You can see Mactan, Bohol, and a beautiful coral reef from many of the holes.
Should be back in a couple of months....probably Manila and the stewardess.

I am disappointed in you. You had a chance at a trifecta and did not take it. :)
Good report.

Good report.
Slim
LOL. I hear ya. But honestly she was the least attractive of the three anyway, but definitely had a better command of English. Being married too is not really my style.
Here are some typical querie and replies I received while texting the girls when I was there.
Me: Hi, I'm in Cebu city now. Are you busy?
Girl: Really? When will you get here?
And.
Me: Are you in Cebu city now?
Girl: I'm ok. How are you my dear?
But here's the kicker.
Me: Can you meet me down at Robinson's mall?
Girl: What do you mean "meet me down at Robinson's mall?
Me: What don't you understand?
Girl: Oh, you mean meet you down at Robinson's mall?
Me: Um, ya.
Cebu Report
The main thing about the Philippines is everything and I do mean everything (with the exception of electricity) is cheap. Even when you have been ripped off, it likely cost a lot less than what you might pay elsewhere. My middle of the road very clean and secure hotel (The Diplomat) cost me about $23 a night. If you stayed with the local goods, food and drink were exceptionally cheap.
I agree with that statment if you want to live like locals. I mean personnally I can't find a descend hotel room in Manila for less than 130 USD. In europe I'd go to mid range hotels such as Mercure or Novotel but there are no such hotels in the Phils, so I go to Pan Pacific, Hyatt.
Its worth mentionning because in BKK 4/5 stars hotels there are plenty and it cost probably half of the Manila prices.
Personnaly I don't go on holidays to eat like locals at Jollibies, so I go for better places.
In cebu I don't know the hotel you have been too, but I was at the Marriott once (ok place but needs a refurbishing but great buffet lunch. Dinner) and at the Plantation Bay great place but very expensive.
Also check prices in high season in Boracay its crazy. Overall the Phils are cheap of course as its the 3rd world, but if you want to live with western style of confort, then the story might differ a little bit.
The only thing that remains cheap in any cases would be girls!

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a thrifty traveler. The Diplomat Hotel is mostly filled with Western guest and indeed was the only place in all of Cebu that the air conditioner was cranked to really cold. The malls all seemed to have a temperature of 79 or 80f. BTW The Diplomat has been well reviewed here and on several other sites.
I've never had a problem eating like a local in any country I have ever visited. For me it's part of the adventure. Not that all local food agrees with me. Jolibees doesn't count, it's just a bad imitation of bad Western fast food. I ate in several small cafe type places that had mostly good food for very low prices. There is a really good Italian place (forgot the name) near Mango Plaza that was excellent. Lechon (roast pig) from the food court in Robinson Mall was outstanding. I also noticed sodas here are sweetened with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.
The only real concessions I made for Western comfort were taxi cabs and my hotel. I don't fly half way around the world just to experience what I can at home. I enjoy the monger experience at a low price for sure but I also want to experience to some extent the culture of a country.

Bopalula,
You have to understand and accept that these girls chat with alot of losers online that go on and on about all the wonderful things they will do when they arrive in Cebu, (shopping, going to the movies, alot more shopping). Only one problem, 90% or more of those guys will never ever leave the sofa in there parents basement and can only pay for the membership to FH or CB in hopes of chatting with a few hot young girls and tricking them into falling in love with them and getting them to take off some clothes so they can have a thrill.
I have heard that story time and time again from girls in the PI, about how they met this nice guy online and chatted for months and then they figured out the guy has no intention to come see her so they moved on.
So when you text her or send her a message on YM that you indeed are in Cebu City, the girl is often surprised and wants to make sure by asking again where you are. Even if for a month straight before your trip you have told her when you will be in Cebu City she will refuse to get serious and will only get excited when you do show up in town.

What you wrote was perfect English but was too confusing for her. Instead of "Can you meet me down at Robinsons mall" you should of wrote "Can you meet me at Robinsons Mall"? The word "down" to her means lower or under and so she wanted to figure out what you meant and so she asked again.
I always use simple words and often use more words to make sure she understands. Not that most of the girls are dumb or slow, it's just that English is there second language and most girls do not get to use English on a daily basis as often it is only a few words mixed in here and there.
Also Robinsons mall is a chain and now there are two Robinsons located on Fuente Osmena. The old Robinsons that is located in the same complex as the Midtown Hotel, and has both the Robinsons grocery store in the basement and the Robinsons department store on the upper levels, and the brand new Robinsons Cybergate Mall also located on Fuente Osmena.
Cybergate is located on the direct opposite side of the park and featues a Mooon Cafe and several other fast food chains, it bright and brand spanking new. Look for the big red "R" on the building. It' s just a pain to get there as you have to cross against traffic that's turning up Osmena Boul towards the Capital.

Very well said and 100% true...when i bring girls home, i see them opening their yahoo messenger in my place. i see 100s of contacts and some message invariably pops up live and the guys chat away promising to come to the Philippines soon and wanting to see some tits untill he makes up to PH.
I know how it feels, i only have empathy for guys leaving on the basement and can't make it. I admit, i was once like that, just couldn't control it, until i came here..but 90% of the guys never make it....due to lots of issues like money, jobs other commitments...guess one had to be lucky even to make it here and then hunt for girls.
One will only know, what they are truly missing, when they land here...no comparison between real world and internet chatting.
Other thing is, girls don't last on chat room or Dating sites for long, they are in it for few months and they never come back..even the hardcore chatter leave the dating sites. I have had lots of contacts, but never saw them again after few months.
If you get a girl and can't meet her in couple of months its gone for ever..unless you are really committed and send her money etc.

I understand what you mean about the 'down at Robinson's mall" being confusing. Actually I thought about that after I posted it on here. Not sure about the logic behind them chatting lots of losers, but I do agree with that particular point and appreciate the constructive criticism. Especially when it is in defence of these nice girls that we're lucky as hell to meet.
