Not valid.
Everything is negotiable.
End value (satisfaction/price) is dependant on what YOU bring to the table and your negotiating skills in relation to the goods on offer and the skills of the other party.

Airport Transport?
Is the Suvanablahblah Airport tranportation thread up to date?
Is the planned mass transit shuttle into town (Makasan?) operating yet?

Newsgroups
Some time back, some one was asking about downloading porn.
I stumbled across the alt.binaries.multimedia.erotica.asian newsgroup where there is a wealth of downloadable porn.
Just recently some one posted a site rip of "Thai Cuties" website.
The flicks are in mp4 format and some look very amateurish and others look slickly professional.
The poster stated:
"I obtained this from BT, named and posting as found.
The files are all MP4, different resolutions and quality.
Some are softcore, some hardcore solo (masturbation), some
hardcore sex with partners.
There are about 45 GB in total."
Is there anyone knows in airport's pharmacy, do they sell kamagra and what the price will B. I have to stay at airport for few hours before heading to Yangon.
Thanks lot.
I very much doubt it (and personally I wouldn't even bother to ask). Not sure the exact legal status of selling generic drugs in Thailand, but it is unlikely to happen at 'official' sites such as the airport, and pharmacies such as Boots certainly will not stock them.
But if you are there for a few hours you probably have time to pop down to Sukhumvit and go to a pharmacy there, which will sell it. You might even have time for other things...

Yes it will cost you extra in cab fares, but a Sukhumvit pharmacy is likely the best place for getting what you need from someone who will understand basic English and not require a prescription. Am not recalling what it cost me, but there was no hassle at all getting it.

There are tons of pharmacies close to the airport who would be glad to sell you some Kamagra. You don't need to go all the way into town for it. Ask a taxi driver.
I think it might be sketchy taking K into Burma though. I love Burma. It is maybe the last frontier in Asia, and the people are the kindest and friendliest I've found for the most part.
If you get in trouble with the law there, though, for whatever reason, you are REAlLY in trouble. Be very careful.

I was there last month, and got waved through customs, no search, no problems.
But yes, that's one place I would not want to be on the wrong side of the law, even if was a "misunderstanding".

Red shirts in BKK
Hi Friends,
is anybody of you in BKK right now and can report about the local situation?
Is it still safe enough or should I postpone a planned visit for next week?
The traffic situation seems to become horrible if one may trust the newspapers.
Thanks for response.

Everything is fine, no problem.
Red shirts are the nice people, do not worry. Be careful of Pink shirts (Yellow now wearing Pink and being violent again).
Bangkok Post and The Nation are totally under control of the Democrats / Yellows / Pinks and so do not beleive anything you read in them, their bias is disgusting.

By the way I've heard there are some cheap k directly from India selling in Yangon as well, do you happen to know that?
is anybody of you in BKK right now and can report about the local situation?
Heard on the news that demonstrations closed 2 shopping centers, but they were NOT Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, so I didn't care.
Sukhumvit was clear, skytrain always functional. Now, if they really wanted to throw a cog in BKK, just get a bunch of reds to fill the skytrain and NOT get off, just ride and ride and ride. That would be a problem...
But until then... I don't have any trouble getting around. Traffic can be a problem, but I wouldn't necessarily blame it on the reds. I got caught in a jam caused by too much cross traffic - too many vehicles entering from side soi's keeping the main road from flowing freely. But it wasn't like the OLD days - the skytrain, or the metro, gets you cross town, then take a taxi. Or if really pressed for time, a motorbike taxi.
I do keep eyes open, and obviously avoid any demonstrations, but that's mainly because I don't like crowds.
I would not postpone a trip. This is Thailand - things just work out.
