Loy Kratong in on the 13th, it is not a holiday, but a lot of girls will dress up, take some time off, and go set their float adrift. Everything is still open, but a lot of place will let some of their staff leave for a while.

November 16-cremation
November 17-ashes are gathered
November 18-cremony for the ashes

There will be six grand processions for the four days of the cremation (November 15, 16, 18, and 19) ceremony involving 3,294 soldiers and the three royal chariots: Phra Maha PichaiRatcharot , or Great Victory Chariot (มหาพิชัยราชรถ), PhraWetchayanta Ratcharot (พระเวชยันตราชรถ) and Phra RatcharotNoi , or Little Charriot (ราชรถน้อย).



Its going to be a very somber period, so a lot of places may be closed.
I would almost count on nothing being open on Nov 16.

This is a weird question.
There are plenty of Chinese girls. Does it matter if they actually come from China?
They are Laos girls.
There are dark skinned girls who can speak Cambodian. Whether they were actually born in Cambodia, who cares?

I don't think I ever had a Viet girl or maybe I didn't know but I don't really care. Thai girls are prettier on average.

Just take a variety of girls that you like. Where they were actually born doesn't really matter.
You can always fly to Phnom Phenh or Ho Chi Min City if you are really that keen to find the differences in style between the culture

Places to find in Thailand? In Bangkok I certainly don't know much other than there is a Chinatown. Otherwise go to the border close to Cambodia (or Laos), or even get a Visa to cross over.

Well I argued against your "early daytime arrival" in favour of 11PM or midnight still being O.K. for me, even though Soapies are closing. I was responding to you rather than advocating 3AM.

So we agree then its O.K. to arrive "late" at night, but maybe don't over do the lateness. While there are freelancers at 3AM many other options have gone.

I hate arriving in morning when I'm stuffed from poor sleep during the night (noisy neighbour on the plane) and then being faced with rush hour, then at some Hotels then have to wait as room won't be ready for another 3 hours etc.

I would rather arrive moderatly late evening every time.
Depends on whether you like frustrating slow pace or faster action.

strange stunning thai girl?

flew in from dubai and after my disastrous hours in that place i was looking for something to pick me up in bangkok. i was kind of down being here. the airport looked empty and all that talk (on this forum) about how they hate black people guess it was getting to me.

while awaiting my checked baggage a girl approached offering a ride to the hotel. now i am suspicious when ever a thai approaches so i am like yeah whatever. i will take the ride. while waiting for the guy in the airport parking garage a stunning thai girl approached saying “hey you just got off that flight from dubai?” i was shocked why is this beautiful thai girl (thai-chinese white skin tall slim uni educated) talking to me? i am hot and sweaty just got off a six hour flight. are you a freelancer what do you want from me? (those were my thoughts).

her brother was the driver of the taxi and they both worked at the airport. so i got in on my way to the sheraton. we talked and talked our jobs, where i am from, hip hop clubs, music etc…then stunning thai girl asked was i hungry. i am like (ok now i am sure she is a freelancer) she is asking me out to eat.

i replied i want to check in and change first. we got to the hotel and to say i was impressed is an understatement. guys if you have never stayed at the sheraton its fucking plush security out the ass customer service unprecedented. This discussion is old, very old. I can understand guys who would like to have the comfort and ease of a Thai holiday combined with the beauty of kaukasian or middle eastern chicks.
Thai girls are sweet, but not prefered by all guys, especially the look.
It's much more difficult to travel to Russia, Visa, expensive Hotels, not costumer friendly, etc. So, a country where you can get Visa on arrival, cheep and good Hotel, sevice, etc and beautiful women would be the best. For many guys thise country is Thailand, but not all like the look of Thai girls. I for example would prefer middle eastern chicks, because I like girls with voluptious bodies. This is very seldom in Thailand. Never the less I like more to travel to Thailand than to Libanon, since if all together Thailand is a better Holiday destination than any middle eastern country or south European country. Even better than latin America. But, Thailand would be even better with more voluptious girls with small waists, round hips and big buttocks.
