At the same time I reject women online who start talking about bringing them gifts and I haven't even met them. So that has been the X factor all of this time. I was wondering why I keep ending up with all these non-pros, while you guys are swearing ALL the women in DR expect to be given money and gifts. It's because you entice them with the promise of money and gifts beforehand if they choose to stay with you. I never discuss sex with a woman online, but 95% of the time it happens anyway.

Of the ones I followed up, some of their profiles said they spoke some English, but most of them really didn't even speak enough to say a complete sentence, just a few words here and there. For someone who doesn't speak any Spanish, their choices and options are going to be extremely limited on the DC website. My guess is that less than 5 % of the girls on this Site are actually fluent or at least semi-fluent in English. My guess is you speak some Spanish, I can't imagine anyone who doesn't speak any Spanish having much success on this Site.
Novias bring complications I do not want. I try not to lie or mislead the ladies. A semi pro understands and will give me every thing I want with no ties.

In the clubs in BC my novia there is constantly making sure the other chicas know I am hands off. A lot are scared of her. One chica I really want came out and told me she has to leave me alone because she doesn't want no problems with Haitians. On the flip side I and trust her to a point. She doesn't asked for money but I look out. I have given her a lot of second hand clothes and cheap dollars store items for her business. If she is trying to have something I don't mind helping. I am going to have me a novia in every good area of the DR. Accept Sosua.
Do not get me wrong. Having a DR girl friend is wonderful. They treat you like a man wants to be treated. Yes you can relax with them. When you get that kind of treatment gifts and money are well spent money. I am older now and having 20 something girl friends seems a bit silly but it does not stop me. I have a few 30 plus girls that are fun as well.

There is widespread and insitutional racism here but if you are a gringo, and have a little money to spend, that trumps all else. If you were applying for a job or to live in an exclusive area that might be different.
You won't find a pale-skinned non-working girlfriend but for P4P it makes no difference. Lots of black Americans have a great time here.
If you go to one of the gringo mongering places to live, you will find ex-pats to help get you started. I could help in Puerto Plata for example.
Any reason you do not include Sosua on your list? That is the most popular destination.
Don't think the DR is cheap to live. Rents are cheap. Women are cheap. Rum is cheap. Public transport is cheap. A visit to the doctor is cheap (But medicines are expensive). Everything else is the same as the US or more expensive and quality is generally inferior. And there are lots of hidden costs to living here, popularly known as "The Gringo Tax".
When I was in DR in August they had implemented a new $80 fee to leave the country. Is that still in force? If not, what is the current fee?

I was in the DR last week, and I didn't pay an exit fee out of my pocket. Was it out of pocket, or tacked on to your ticket price? My ticket price in Jan / Feb was the same as it was in October.

For a while charter flights had to pay at the airport and scheduled flights were included, this of course added to the confusion.
