Suppose you as a manager are strict for whatever reason. A HE is ok whilst a naked girl might imply FS and LE might be not happy at all if they come to know (can use same technique: do a test).
The manager and the venue would be in troubles without being aware, knowledgeable and for no revenue.
I tend to believe the management knows (a happy customer is a repeat customer) , closes an eye or two, let's the girls earn some extra cash (happy staff will assure continuity and consistency, it is up to them to fire anybody not ok at their eyes). A win-win situation. And if LE comes around plan A is enforced "we do not know. Girls initiative we don't support, ask around, we never encourage this!". More thrill for the mongerers as they think to obtain something unreachable: more exciting.
I am spending two weeks in shanghai, I am arriving Sunday may 1st. I do no speak Chinese. I have rtff and I will continue to research but we all know that the learning curve is steep for a non Chinese speaker. I am on a limited budget, (I just lost my job and I am using what I have left to have fun in shanghai.) I hope to have at least one sauna visit (found a good post on Bodi) if I can swing it, but I am on a SW or low cost budget. (I do have standards, I. E. Looks make for a better experience.) I know beggars can't be choosers. I appreciate any kindness you can show me.

So I guess this is my first report? Last night I was at a club called 'cd soho'. I wasn't looking to do any p2p, just enjoy some good music and some drinks. It's a very nice club. 100rmb for open bar, weekdays 60rmb for open bar.
I noticed that there are like 20 or 30 hot girls just standing at the back of the place all night long. All night just standing there and no guys talking to them, and they aren't even talking to each other. My question is, are they p2p? Anyone know how much they charge? I didn't speak to them. But surely they are hookers, I mean. I've been to that club twice now and seen the same girls standing there each night. Hopefully someone can tell me how much is a 'normal' price to take one home for an hour, I don't want to get ripped off!
Speaking of getting ripped off. After spending a few hours at cd soho, I walked around and found a place called 'Xinmilan private VIP club'. The funny thing is, I wasn't mongering, just walking around to see Shanghai.
Anyway, I was taken upstairs and to a room with 2 girls. They sang a song and I ordered 2 Heineken and one coke for myself. 20minutes later I decide its best to leave and guess how much they want to charge me? 6000rmb. Thats right. 6000rmb for 20 minutes and 3 beers. No sex, no kissing, no touching. Just 2 girls for 20 minutes company in a KTV-esque room. And the girls singing was ear-piercingly bad.
I refused to pay, then a manager came and shouted at me, and then like 6 guys entered the room. I knew they can't touch me as they don't want police involved (beating a foreigner is bad) so I just walked out without paying! I did tip each girl 200rmb, but the girls were nice and this was before they tried to scam me out of 6000rmb.
Please stay away from this club, its near cd soho, about 5 minutes walking distance. 'Xinmilan private VIP club' beware.
I should add, this establishment also immediately gave my table 2 plates of fresh fruit, water melon I believe. That was the first alarm bell in my head and I told them I don't want it and made them take it away. So really the 6000rmb is the price to rent the room for 20 minutes plus the company of 2 girls I guess.
Does anyone know if I would have actually been able to take the girl home? She was cute and seemed nice.

This happened to me in SH and recently in Nanjing. Actually, they will try and rough you up if you don't pay. So basically, you have a choice. 1) avoid anything like this 2) try and fight (most Chinese guys can't fight worth a shit even the PLA guys who are super lame compared to rest of world military) then escape. That is, if you know how to handle yourself.
There are gals at Xintiandi who walk around looking for foreigners and then try to get them to go to KTV or 'clubs' and the same shit happens.
Stick to either trying to pick up gals without going to their recommendations Or go to the sauna's or BBS' reviewed here.
Just stay switched on at all times.

Especiall I fhtey engage o some sexual activities, maybe induced by the establishment, videotaping you and having a proof that will be given to police in case you create troubles afterwards. That proof will show you have been engaging in sex act and the girl wil testify you paid her.
From victim status you will become a defendant.

I always try to meet a new one on each trip, last trip found a great young professional girl, back from dinner she paid the taxi, next morning walked her down stairs, refused my money for the taxi back home. So next week we go to Macua for a little R & R, she bought her own ticket. (this ones a keeper) Have one special one though-no matter what time I arrive from the US, she meets me at the hotel, . Sothe moral here is to be yourself and do your homework before you get to SH.

Did I complain about being scammed? I remember posting a warning about a particular night club.
The only reason I logged on here is because I wanted to ask about the girls at CD SOHO dance club, to which no-one has answered yet. That club is fucking amazing inside with great music. I do appreciate the advice of people here to just go to a sauna. However, standing in line with a bunch of guys, taking a shower and being dried off by another guy, and picking a girl from a line-up isn't my idea of fun. To me it sounds like a long process by the time you actually get into a room with a girl.
I am not complaining. I wasn't scammed, because I didn't pay what they asked for. I didn't engage in any sexual activities so I don't care if I was live on justinTV. Bionicman, by definition, if they video tape you having sex then it can only be for purposes of blackmail. Now, I'm no lawyer but, it makes no sense for them to get the police involved as what they are doing is also illegal. What to they gain from putting a laowai in jail not to mention one of their own working girls, plus having their premises shut down? Do you think the police would only arrest me, but think this club with secret video camera and girls accepting money is kosher?
So back to what I was curious to know about, does anyone know the dealio with the 20 to 30 hot girls just standing at the back of that night club all night? Reasonable price for some company? They are 9's and 10's in my opinion.
