Mongering in Bangalore: Some Basic Pointers
As this is not your first visit to India, I'm assuming you'd have a general idea of the mongering situation in these parts, so I won't bore you with the nitty gritty. In a nutshell:
A. If you're a Westerner, well-dressed and reasonably good looking, it shouldn't be too hard to find company for the evening if you hang out at an expensive bar, look friendly and seem approachable. 'Ladies Nights' at the better bars (consult the local Time Out magazine) see a fair number of attractive women, who may or may not be professionals, but might be up for a couple of drinks and if all goes well, and you're charming as hell, a nightcap in your hotel room! Free and fun. Just don't blame me if she expects you to be her steady 'boyfriend' forever after!
This technique works much better in cities like Mumbai and Delhi, though. Bangalore is still a conservative city in many ways.
B. You probably know this already, but if you don't, then here it is, amigo: Avoid local agents/managers/pimps like the very plague. They are, without exception, dishonourable, dishonest, and completely unethical. Their only goal is to separate you from your money as quickly as possible, and as a foreigner, especially, they'll instantly recognize your potential as a sitting duck and scam you for most of what you're worth. Bait and switch is the least of your concerns; many of the 'models' and 'airhostesses' they promise you are illegally trafficked young girls from poor families, poor hygiene and diseases are rife (STDs including HIV, lice, tuberculosis, skin diseases.) and the odds of being caught in an LE raid and incarcerated are very high. If you opt for the 'Russians', a huge draw amongst locals with a penchant for white skin, expect, at best a heroin-addled dirty blonde junkie from a CIS country, whose 'English' will sound like Aramaic; at worst a 40-something former janitor with bright yellow teeth, orange hair, blue eyeshadow, and an attitude from Hell. Like I said, run, don't walk!
C. Ah, streetwalkers! Not recommended either, unless you're a sucker (pun fully intended) for the third gender in sequinned drag, or dirt-poor ladies of the night, whose main client base are truckers, autorickshaw drivers and construction workers who never, ever agree to wear a condom. Do the math.
D. Independents: Expensive, exclusive, and extremely hard to establish and maintain contact with. Most of these girls/women will be whip-smart and well educated, highly safety-conscious and therefore DD free, well-groomed, nicely dressed, and moderately to extremely attractive. If you're wealthy and not tight-fisted, and looking for a relaxed, risk-free, GFE experience, an independent is perhaps your best bet. How to find one? Ah, therein lies the jab! Websites like CL are clogged with posts from pimps (always in ALL CAPS, heck knows why!). Avoid the Erotic Services section altogether and try the personals instead.
E. Craft a nicely-worded posting of your own, as direct as is legally permitted, post on CL and other community websites, weed out the 99. 9% of responses from agents, scammers and bots, and voila, you may just have a sexy winner on your hands!
Yes, of course it's okay to post your experiences on this forum. That's what it's here for! Unlike the tragically high volume of immature, callous idiots amongst us, I'm sure you're sensible and sensitive enough to refrain from posting intimate details or face pictures of the women involved, for your own security as much as theirs.

Hey folks,
Am back in B-town and the fantastic weather is making me incredibly horny! Have completely lost touch with the local scene after being away for many months, and would be grateful for pointers on how and where to 'get some'!
