I'm just thinking these chicas right off the boat that can't even speak English are accessible for much less, but I have no actual knowledge of the situation. Just returned from a short trip to Sosua. Mainly a dive trip and have been diving and chasing chicas there for many years. I was there in May and met a chica I really liked. Very attractive, somewhat sophisticated and definitely a cut above the typical Sosua street rat. I kept in touch with her and we set up a return visit. She lives way out of town and had a long bus ride to get back to Sosua. We discussed a daily routine and some prices. I've never "wifed up" before but thought it might be a good idea this trip due to the recent crackdown. Overall, had a good week!!

My flight on American was 6 hours late from Miami due to a mechanical issue, so got in late. My friend was going to stay with a local sister, who I later met. I stayed at Alicia Beach Hotel and think it is a great property. Quiet area, decent room with great A / see and hot water and got the breakfast deal with the room for $60 a night. Very chica friendly and they hold the chica's ID for safety.

I ended up paying her around $110 a day and felt that was a good price for all the fun I wanted and great company, esp a nice dinner companion. I gave her a bit extra the last night to help with the bus ticket (she said it was around $30 round trip).

My overall impressions of Sosua: definitely a strong police / military presence all over, esp at night, altho I saw pairs of police / soldiers during the day, too. They never bothered me or my lady but we were obviously a couple. I did see the police chase one lady down the street but not sure what brought on the incident. There are girls around; ran into a few on the streets and saw quite a few in various bars and restaurants. Some nights after my girl left, I did a short walk around and felt there would have been plenty of available women had I not made other arrangements.

So. It's not the wild west it used to be, but I think still plenty of action for a typical monger. Not sure what the long term forecast for Sosua is, but it does seem to be recovering a bit. I noticed the hard Rock Cafe was pretty much empty every night Don't think it will last long. Most restaurants pretty empty. Some other patrons but certainly not very busy.

Sosua at least has legal prostitution, and a support industry, guest friendly hotels, and more than enough chicas on the game to let you fuck 24/7 if that's your thing.

It also offers a safe tropical island, with beautiful beaches and a variety of restaurants, and enough of the other pastimes you mention, to take care of any down time.

All within an easy 3/4 hours of USA Major hubs.

Maybe it's not what it was, but still beats that frozen sex prison up North! Especially for ex-pats!
