According to USA inflation calculator a 1991 dollar was worth about 76% more than a 2016 dollar.

So yes the coswt of sex has grown much faster than inflation. Btu not several times as fast.

I did use some Soapies such as Thermae. I was able to get LT with a Soi Cowboy bargirl for 400 Baht (some charged 500 Baht). This I remember very clearly. I would expect ST to be somewhat less if bargirl ST existed at all in those days. If you were paying 1000 for FS in an Oily, or even 200 less, seems like a lot. About 13 years ago, in soapy Chao Praya 2, the initial price for massage girl did not include sex. She would charge 1000 for sex. This was not the cheapest going around though. However that is only 13 years ago and not 25 years ago. 25 years ago, I cannot recall the soapy prices, but obviously a lot less than 1000 for FS. I also used a soapy in Chiang Mai 33 years ago. That is the same price as it now is at the PSE oilies, i.e., no price increase at all (at least in Thai currency) with the exception of some minor outliers such as Bamboo's introduction of a 500-baht surcharge for anal. Indeed, taking into account the inflation rate, the price in real terms has gone down.

For some reason, the PSE oilies have not raised their prices like the other venues. On the flip side, the average quality of the girls at the PSE oilies has declined a bit (or more, depending on who you ask).

I suspect the budget soapies, such as Avita and Meree, may also have prices now that are not that much higher than a decade ago but given I haven't frequented them recently I don't really know.

There are more gals than boys being born but with rising salaries only the dregs tend to go into P4 P these days. It is not like in the West where P4 P gals view themselves as independent. Here there is still a lot of stigma attached to sex. It was getting better in the late '00's but has taken a very conservative turn in the past few years. Sex in "beneath" them and something that the poor people do. Can dress sexy, but sex; heavens no. That's messy.

Edit: I just noticed a photo I took at Tulip in October 2002 (assuming the information attached to the photo is correct). So I imagine it opened earlier than that, which would mean no price increases for somewhere around 15 years or more.

At the time I first visited Baron's I remember the go-go prices were 1500 for short-time and 2000 for long-time, although there may have been some room for negotiating from these prices. I don't remember the bar fine amount precisely, but it may have been 400 or 500 baht. So back then, a two-hour session at Baron's cost somewhere between what a short-time and a long-time go-go girl session cost.

Wandered into Thermae last night about 11:30 PM. What a horror show. The Japanese were horse racing around the track and there were more plastic surgery disasters then I could imagine. One gal had her nose reduced to nothing and was so botoxed out she looked like an alien. And these gals are demanded 2 K plus? Jeez, would not take 95% of them for 1 k Baht. A shadow of what it was just a few years ago when the Japanese hunters were all very pretty. Really was shocking. I think they need to return the room to its darker self. The bright lights accentuate the flaws. And there are many.

If you're more in to the traditional Thai look with the flared nostrils then Thermae is definitely not the place for you. Since I'm into the Japanese Anime doll look and girls who look more caucasian, Thermae is the place for me.

Moderate surgeries makes the girls look more western like (not really desirable for me).

I was in there too at the same time, most likely. I was sitting in the middle with a girl in a white dress. I was showing the Thermae to my ex-Billboard girl Tukata, and explaining how it worked. She is all natural and light skin, and to me easily pretty enough to compete well in there, but only small tits. She may have a difficulty in that she perhaps prefers Farang customers, and is very GFE with me, not a quick turn over girl. She might just be too good for the Thermae. LOL Tukata has a killer sweet smile, but is quite timid rather than flamboyant, perhaps lacking in self confidence. Not sure if that matters in the Thermae. Tukata says she has given up Billboard purely due to them having too many girls and new girl arriving every week. She probably acted too conservatively in Billboard with customers looking for a little more flamboyant, show off or raunchy girls, plus some customers want big tits, natural or not.

I did see 3 to 4 other cute girls (natural looking types) in Thermae. One who looked very young got taken by a Japanese guy very promptly. Another I rated as very pretty and previously taken quickly was not getting taken so quick this night (not sure why). One guy talked to two different girls I liked but failed to reach agreement with either. Customers generally seemed slow to decide. Not "horse-racing" by any means. A bit of slow movement around the track but less than some other visits. Moderately crowded. Banana Boy's girl with the big tits was there as always. Quite cute and light skin. She would not take me I am assured. BB said she has the tightest pussy around.

I also took Tukata to see Tilac bar as it is a more conservative bar, or so I thought. Actually the girls there play up quite a bit, and were more raunchy than I expected. They need to be because there aren't any beauties in there, well I am a little unfair, it was after midnight by that time, and the best girls could be BFed already. Tukata could work there and be easily the prettiest to my taste. So standard of looks in Tilac seemed well behind Billboard (at this late time).

I also decided to look in Doll House. After the previous drug addled owner fell off the building to his death, the bar may well have a new owner. The staff in there have changed almost completely. One or two old waitresses perhaps. I did not recognise any dancing girls at all. Quite a few girls dance naked, and there are about 3 Coyote girls. Not much surgeries in there, a couple of tit jobs. Overall standard is higher than the previous set of girls and probably higher than Suzie Wong, for me (liking slimmer girls). Few fatties. Suzie Wong only had 5 or 6 slimmer girls last visit. Stunners?, not really except for one of the Coyotes was exotically pretty and I would certainly fuck her, given the chance. She was busy with a customer. One girl sat with me but she was drunk and pretty stupid. Very few customers. Perhaps Doll House should have some shows like Suzie has to liven it up a tad.

Once it gets really late in some bars, the staff can start to get too drunk, and this is not good whether the drunk girls are dancing girls or service staff. Service staff will very easily fuck up your bill once they get drunk. So I don't recommend attending bars very late in the evening.

By flared nostrils, I presume BB refers to very broad flat noses. Yes very few of those. Plenty of the eagle beak noses (curve down), after bridge of the nose has been altered. Still I could find a few natural cute non-broad small bridge noses as well. Plenty of noses ungainly big even if not broad nor the very typical bulbous tipped (when unaltered) Thai noses.

If Goatscrot thinks the nose jobs were bad, I would say not as bad as in some other places. I have seen far more of a nose horror show in some of the Soapy MPs. My last visit to Emmanuelle line up was far more horrifying than a Thermae visit. Utopia visit was shocking too. Exceedingly bad nose jobs come in various types. One type is the very sharp bird beak type (like Michael Jackson) and another type is where the tip has been raised, making a piggy nose look. Neither of these types were that prevalent in my quick look. More so the witch like hooked noses, or just plastic shiny noses looking like they are glued on.

It looks like the prices have gone up in Thailand in 25 years very disproportionately.

The price of LT with a bargirl has probably risen the most, maybe the price of ST with a bargirl a little less, less still the soapy prices and freelancer prices, and maybe least of all the Oily prices.

So originally bargirls were cheaper than MP girls, and now they are much more expensive. Is this caused by supply and demand? There are an absolutely massive number of massage shops and many massage girls get very few customers. In bars there are such a shortage of really good looking girls, they seem to be in higher demand if they are any good. Seems to allow them to charge more. It was suggested to me that some of the top girls in twisters bar maybe setting quite a high ST price. They would only do that if they can get it. They do have the ability to set their own price unlike an Oily MP. So I think it is the negotiating power that allows Bargirls to get higher prices.
The tourist guy came to Nana and he claimed he paid 8 K to a bargirl (and bar and drinks etc.) and got an ordinary ST. He had no clues to what he should have been paying.

The number of bars with girls to be taken for sex is declining. Hard to make bars profitable. This is perhaps because the girls there are getting too costly to fuck for girls that are just not worth it, in the view of many guys who used to attend bars but not much any more.

Even Twisters is an expensive bar, the girls get plenty of customers. Busier than many other bars. Caters to the big spenders I guess, where some Oily MPs are catering to those who want pornstars at a budget price. The looks of the girls has to suffer.
