I love MTY, you can real find some hot girl in the price range of $125-200 for the night, I am talking top tier. The other thing I love about MTY, you just do not have the sex tourists, in other destinations.
I must say, I am intrigued with your accolades of SA. I've mostly kept to my Twitter network and a few agencies I prefer in Monterrey. I've tried the private subscriptions services over the years, but I find unless you are quite good at Spanish and have people willing to recommend you to the quality ones, it's meh quality women. How is the time effort to value with SA in Monterrey? I've looked into it in the past for other locations in the Americas and Asia and it was rife with fake profiles and scams that it just didn't seem worth the hassle. Do you converse with these women for weeks before meeting them to weed them out? Do you filter by specific attributes that seem to correlate to quality profiles?
I'm always interested in trying new approaches and was curious of your experiences with it if you don't mind sharing.

I am back in the MTY the girl from last week is not available but she is a total rock start we are meeting next weekend. I am not sure I can get anything better. SA works great, because most of the girls are college educated, can drive and they will at least try to communicate in English. It is a little more expensive, but well worth it. Not too mention they are looking for a Gringo, another plus. I have had great luck with the higher end escorts. Most of the times they will give you there phone number.
Video Chat is important, I just got Cat fished slightly, but sent her packing.
Good luck.

You are right about SA, I have found it very useful and fruitful. Speaking Spanish is a ++++. On my last trip in March, I saw about 5 different ladies from SA and a couple from twitter and had a ball. Hopefully, I'll return soon.

The Escort Agency will only go to Hotels and some of the girls freaked out about the apartment, so unless you already know the girls I would stick with an Hotel. Much easier, I wasted a lot of time driving to the Love Hotel, then I sent the girl packing that the agency sent, she did not agree to the exchange rate and I told her know. Normally I would not agree over a few dollars, but she way too expensive and I met her before, I forgot. She is just not that good looking and she packed on few pounds, $100-150 no problem, but she wanted more, I said no way.

Houston to Monterrey
I was always told driving to Monterrey is dangerous. Now with the plane ticket prices out of wack I'm considering driving to Monterrey or to Laredo then catching a bus to Monterrey. Anything I need to be concerned about?

Now with the plane ticket prices out of wack I'm considering driving to Monterrey or to Laredo then catching a bus to Monterrey. Anything I need to be concerned about?
Wow, I am reading my own story. Flights are crazy expensive and service is even worse to MTY now, total be. S. I am so sick of the airlines, so I have decided to drive as much as possible now. I have driven to MTY 5 times in the last 2 months, no issues. Make sure have your car registered in Mexico, pain in the ass, but necessary. The bus sucks. And couple members have had issues at bus station in Laredo. I feel very safe in MYY, as I mentioned in some of my other reports I do not feel safe in Laredo especially at night.
Once I get to MTY, I do not drive, only Uber. Uber is so cheap there, there no reason to drive there. The Highway to MTY has been redone recently and is in real good shape. There is a strong police force and military presence, but they are not a problem. I was nervous at first, but now no issues. I would recommend leaving early in the morning or late afternoons. Late at night is not a good idea, but there are many parts of Houston I would not drive in night. I feel way safer in MTY at night then I ever did in Houston. Houston is extremely dangerous, but just not reported how dangerous of city it real is.

I have been wondering about buses leaving out of Nuevo Laredo but it can feel very dangerous if you are in Nuevo Laredo and last time I took the bus from Nuevo Laredo to Monterrey I was shaken down by Cartel soldiers inside that actual bus station and everyone just let it happen. My friend Dramafree has more first hand knowledge of how risky it is but I have read many good reviews in google maps on the bus stations in Nuevo Laredo so I don't know what the situation is right now. I know that the buses in Nuevo Laredo are allot more comfortable and upscale that the ones here in Texas.

Just thinking about that drive from Houston-Laredo, 7 LOOOOOONG hours on Hwy 59 you'll never get back. Each way.
Once in Laredo, I personally prefer parking and taking bus. If you choose to drive your own vehicle, you have to register it at the NLaredo CITEV station with proof of ownership, it would be a $460 USD, which is $400 USD cedit card deposit and about $60 USD netted to them. This is approval to drive your personal vehicle into the interior.
If you do drive, toll ways about $10 each way and clean pavement, I prefer drive at day time. There are toll free roads running along side the toll roads, but slow windy roads thru hills and towns, pavement not best condition, one time hit a pothole I had to replace a tire once I got back to Laredo. 85 Libre is the non-tolled route, 85D AutoPista is the tolled route.
I haven't had any dangerous experiences, but again I drive at day, and also I can't speak for other mongers

I read about someone driving to Monterrey to run into a road block by the local cartel. They shook him down for $600.00. For that price he would have better off flying. He was trying to save money but ended up paying more. The author did advise that he made this journey plenty probably 10 times before and nothing never happened. I also read about another traveling getting shook down at the bus station and the attendant just looked away as if he didn't see what was happening. I understand. He has to live there. Not good to get mixed up in all of that.

I think they are overselling the flights though so be aware you could get bumped and have to take the bus back.
I know what you mean though. The fares have been crazy. Fares to Mexico City were so expensive I was considered driving to Hidalgo and getting a flight out of Reynosa. There are no flights out of Nuevo Laredo at least for now.
For some fucked up reason though, fares to Cancun on American or Spirit or Sun Country are dirt cheap. Instead of driving to Hidalgo, I am going to fly to Cancun and then catch a flight to Mexico City. It is half the price of flying to CDMX direct. Hopefully, there will be no hurricanes or tropical storms.

That's where my best playlist in Mexico is at for me. Now I'm thinking next time I can fly to San Diego for $100, I'll do that cross the border and fly from Tijuana airport to cdmx.
